chapter 27
Chapter 27-Southern Civilization
“What are you doing, sister?”
“I was just thinking.”
Half a year has already passed since the battle with Gad ended.
Not a short time has passed, but the battle between God and Lemfra is still ongoing.
Gad was in the process of gathering people to erect a statue in order to somehow reinforce his myth, and Lempra was quietly reaching out to the North.
There were no apostles among the so-called missionaries, but they subcontracted to Lempria, and then subcontracted to Lempria to subordinates to support them, spreading Lempra’s influence in the north.
Although it is called an evil god, it has never caused great damage to the general public, and since it was a god whose public sentiment was bad by dragging people in to build a statue, the evangelist can grow in power in an instant.
If left unattended, it will self-destruct.
That was the conclusion Lemfra came to.
Thanks to this, Lempria and other followers of Lemfra consolidated their control over the villages they already dominated.
“If Dad’s going to stay quiet, I’d like to have a meeting with the philosophers.”
“The stories philosophers talk about these days are not interesting.”
Numerous gods joined the myth of Lemfra in the name of spirits.
Among them, the spirits who quickly surrendered to Lemfra and excelled in the war were able to rise to the position of slave gods, and philosophers were busy organizing the myths.
From the point of view of the dominated village, it was absurd for the ruling class to handle their own mythology, but it was inevitable.
As always, history is written by the victors.
Anyway, Lempria didn’t like that the philosophers were organizing the myths.
Feint, Eria, the apostles of her parents’ generation anyway. It is to organize myths by the names of spirits that are sometimes mentioned in the oracles that Atimos sometimes hears from the gods, but I didn’t want to hear such a story from the side.
‘I’d rather talk about instruments.’
“Then go and work hard. Is it okay for the village leader to rest like this?”
“Imp, come here.”
As the imp approached Lempria questioning her, she struck her brother’s head hard.
-Paak!
If it was a normal person, it would have been so powerful that it would instantly cause fainting, but the imp stood still, except for a moment of staggering.
“Why are you hitting me!”
But it wasn’t that she didn’t feel her pain, so she grabbed her head and shouted at Lempria.
“Nuna said she would stay still, but why are you talking softly when Lemfra-nim doesn’t say anything?”
Lempria pulled the imp’s mouth all the way.
As his mouth stretched out to the side, the imp struggled and pushed Lempria’s shoulder.
“What?”
Despite the imp’s resistance, Lempria was not pushed back at all, but rather pulled the imp’s mouth harder and only released it after a long time.
“Sister, are you stupid? If you are an apostle, you should find something that will help God and do it. You can’t just sit still because God doesn’t give orders.”
As the imp spoke while touching his cheeks, Lempria’s ears sounded like they were making a lot of sense.
‘Yes, I have to move first.’
What would Lemfra like?
‘Let’s go find new followers.’
The North will collapse on its own anyway.
Expanding to the East is a very difficult task.
Neither of the remaining places were easy, either the west or the south, but Lempria wanted to conquer the south.
‘Crossing the river is no problem now.’
Previously, it was considered impossible to cross the river, or to be precise, the Grace of Catria, but as philosophy developed, a method was created.
It was calculated that using a raft made by cutting and attaching trees, it would be possible to cross a river with a slow current no matter how wide it was.
I thought about taking the soldiers with me, but in the end I decided not to.
Soldiers were needed to stabilize the land that had not yet been stabilized, and this time a raft was needed to cross the river, so we decided to move with a minimum number of people in case we returned.
“Father!”
After making her decision, Lempria immediately ran to the center of the village where the feint was.
She has been blessed by Lemfra, so her body is so strong that even though she jumps on two legs, she exudes tremendous speed comparable to that of a cheetah.
“So, my daughter, have you come to kill your father?”
“I’m here to tell you that she can’t beat her dad just yet, and that she’s going down south.”
She looked down at her paint as if she was dumbfounded by her bold words.
“So what’s the village going to do, leave it here and go south?”
“Father and mother, Atimos-sama can rule. I also prefer pioneering new areas to governing existing lands.”
“Heh-uh… Heh-uh… It’s so damn fast.”
The imp who followed her belatedly, Lempria, looked at her with bated breath.
“Then we’ll be on our way! We’ll take Alfrea with us too, so you’d think so!”
I just arrived at the town square, and the imp was pulled by Lempria’s hand again, and was taken to the place where Alprea was and then to the place where Catria’s grace was.
‘Lem Phra, please look upon my daughter and her son.’
The paint she knew she couldn’t dry his daughter.
All he could do was pray to Lemfra that his daughter and son would return unscathed.
“Alfrea! That’s not how you do it!”
It didn’t take that long to build a raft.
Lempria, who devoted herself to her philosophy studies since the end of her war, was a great scientist and engineer, and it was not that difficult for her to build her raft with only three people on board.
A raft that wasn’t too big, but not too small, floated on the water.
“Is this safe?”
“Oh, you’re safe. Don’t worry, I’ve done the math.”
“You know how unbelievable a sentence is if you say that it was calculated by you and not by anyone else, right?”
Unlike the imps who put off boarding the raft with various excuses, Alfrea climbed the raft without any fear.
“I’m worried about you, Imp. It’s not someone else’s, but Lempria’s raft, so you really don’t want to break it?”
“It’s impossible to catch people, Alfrea.”
“I’m sure Lempria-sama will catch that thought.”
Alprea came down the raft and flashed the imp.
Although Alfrea was more than two inches taller than the imp, he was born as a child of Namaret, an apostle of the slave god Alfre, and had trained his body for a long time, so he did not feel much difficulty lifting the weight of an imp by himself.
“Don’t talk nonsense, let’s go!”
“Let’s go!”
As Alfre climbed onto the raft with the imp, Lempria held up a pole longer than the depth of the river.
“Alfrea, I won’t rebel anymore, so put it down.”
“Okay.”
As Alprea carefully put the imp down, the imp tapped her body to shake off the dust and asked.
“Are you going to start a war of conquest in the south as well?”
“No, if we were going to war, we would have taken soldiers with us.”
“Then, what are you going for?”
“I want to win people’s trust just with Lemfra’s story. Half a year ago, I looked like a crazy b*tch when I think about it now.”
“Nuna goes crazy when she tastes blood.”
– Took!
At the imp’s playful words, Lempria pushed him hard.
Unable to cope with Lempria’s sudden attack, the imp immediately fell into the water.
“Puha! What are you doing!”
He was an imp who had never swum before, but he was able to hold onto the raft strongly and prevent it from drifting away.
“You hang on like that. The water isn’t that cold and you’ve trained your body enough. Of course you can hold on, right?”
Lempria pushed the ground with a pole while laughing hohohoho.
The other side of the river, which seemed far away, was approaching before I knew it.
*****
A star fell from the sky.
A small light that seemed to be permanently fixed on a black background fell to the ground.
‘God, what does that star fall mean? Could it mean the death of a god?’
[The fall of the star means that the precious nobleman floating in the sky will fall to the ground. An important fate may come to you in the near future.]
‘Important Destiny…’
Slowly I stood up and looked at the city I rule.
A single city created by people from hundreds of villages.
Do I have my own destiny among them?
“It’s time for your speech soon.”
“Speech, wasn’t it decided that today’s speech would be given by my father?”
“Many people are waiting for the Crown Prince to give a speech. You have not become an adult today. Please go out and speak for today.”
Passed by the astrologer, who bowed his head and spoke, and wrapped himself in a leather robe that covered his entire body.
“I don’t want to stand in front of people yet.”
“Are you leaving again?”
“I’m going to go get some fresh air at night. Let’s go back to the land split in half.”
“Please be careful.”
If it’s small, if it’s small, if it’s big, I got out of the building and headed for the ground that was split in half.
The sight of a huge crack in the intact ground calmed my mind.
