chapter 14
14 – First Guest
“Why didn’t you say anything?”
I couldn’t answer Aron’s answer.
Because if you open your mouth, you will burst into laughter.
The problem was that Fenia, who was standing next to her, was also holding back her laughter.
Fortunately, Aron didn’t notice us in disguise.
I swallowed as much laughter as I could and cleared my voice.
“I think there was a misunderstanding. Master Aron.”
“I guess now you know who I am.”
“Yes. Aren’t you the Master Arion of the Feinheart family?”
As if I was satisfied with my answer, Aron’s expression softened a bit.
On the contrary, Rondo’s expression darkened as he tried to punch me.
“But what happened with Rondo’s gang? It wouldn’t have been easy dealing with our party with only three people, and with two women in between.”
“It’s unfortunate. Young master. We rather helped them, but on the contrary, it was the guys who were aiming for surprise.”
“Oh no! Young master. Don’t be fooled by lies like that!”
“Be quiet. Rondo.”
Rondo, who had been teasing us a while ago, immediately shut up at Aron’s words.
I had been accustomed to the life of an aristocrat for a while, but I felt that being an aristocrat was in a different position than commoners.
Then, what will happen if they find out that I am the crazy rail of the Marquis family?
My mouth tickles.
I wanted to tell them the identities of me and Fenia and see what their reaction would be.
But for now, it seemed good to hide his identity.
“Even if our gang attacked first, wouldn’t that be too much? Especially Rondo guy…”
Aron paused his words and glanced at Rondo’s crotch.
Honestly, as a man like myself, I felt a bit sorry for Rondo, who lost his masculine symbol.
“You did damage to our gang. Do you know what this means?”
“You mean to compensate us for the damage.”
“Fortunately, you are aware.”
At my question, Ar On raises the corner of his mouth.
It seems that he is trying to reveal his true colors from now on.
The guy’s gaze goes to Allin and Fenia standing next to him.
And then he licks his lips with a sinister smile.
“Man. What is your name?”
I hesitated for a moment when Aron asked for my name.
But I immediately came up with a good idea and opened my mouth.
“My name is Jinwoo Kim.”
“Jinwoo?”
“Yes.”
“What an unusual name.”
Jinwoo Kim.
That was my original name before becoming a freaking rail.
“Looking at how he took down our gang members single-handedly, he seems to have good skills. How is it? Would you like to try working for us?”
“Are you talking about work?”
“Yes. It makes it easy for commoners to earn money that they will never see in their lifetime.”
“What specifically are you talking about?”
At my question, Aron laughed and pretended to insert the syringe into his arm.
“Due to the nature of this area, there are many cases where we often get into fights with other gangs. With kids like you, it’s safe for us to keep things safe.”
“There are definitely a lot of people who are crazy about money, so that kind of thing will happen a lot.”
“An accident happens almost every day.”
I responded appropriately to his words.
He suggested something to me to see if he liked me because he responded more politely than I thought and had good skills.
“I’m thinking of having a party next week, and it would be nice if you could stand guard for it. Jinwoo, what do you think?”
“Should I be the only one at the party?”
“For now, I think so. Is there anyone you can personally recommend?”
“Yes. I know how to use magic a little differently, and this friend knows how to use a sword quite differently.”
And I introduced Aline, who was standing next to me, to Aron.
Allin also had contact with Ar On at the ball, but Ar On didn’t notice because of her magic that changed Fenia’s appearance.
Aron glanced at the skinny Aline and tilted her head.
“You don’t look particularly talented because of your skinny body.”
“More than half of the gangs that have fallen now are this guy.”
“Really?”
Even at the word that he cut down his gang, Ar On smiled with a face that pleased him.
Anyway, the Rondo gang was just a means of transporting drugs, and it didn’t feel like they were treated as human beings.
“What is the woman’s name?”
I said the name she had come up with before Alyn said her name.
“My name is Linell.”
“That’s a pretty name.”
“Thank you for the compliment.”
Al Lin also participated in her performance by using honorifics.
As if Aron liked us, he handed us an envelope containing silver coins.
“Inside the envelope is a piece of paper with the location and date of next week’s party written on it. I hope you arrive on time.”
“Yes.”
“Consider the money inside as an employment fee and use it without hesitation.”
“Thank you. Master Aron.”
“By the way, doesn’t the woman next to you want to join the party?”
Aron’s gaze turns to Fenia, who was standing next to Aline.
Fenia finally opened her mouth to see if she was happy that it was time for her to step out herself.
No, I was the first to open her mouth.
“This person is usually not in good health, so he doesn’t fit well with parties.”
“Is that so? I’m a little sorry.”
“Sorry.”
Penia is not allowed.
Unlike Aline, who listens to my commands first, Fenia is not a person I can control.
If she did something wrong and offended Fenia, she could have blown up her party with magic.
“Okay, see you next week.”
With such a brief greeting, Aron and Rondo left.
Of course, Rondo, who fell to the floor, didn’t take the gang with him.
It seemed that he was thinking of replacing those who fell while hiring Aline and me this time.
With the two of us fully visible, we moved to the mansion before the guards arrived.
*
Aron’s mansion is located in the least crowded part of Harlem.
There, Rondo, who was sorting out the new drugs, asked Aron.
“Brother. Are you really going to let them guard the party?”
Rondo also had no doubts because he had personally seen the two’s skills.
But I didn’t think that the two of them would show up at the party after accepting the Master’s proposal.
I thought he would rather just swallow the money in the envelope and disappear.
“Don’t worry. Because I have everything in mind.”
“Is that so?”
Rondo wondered what the boy was planning.
However, he couldn’t carelessly ask questions to himself as a commoner and to Aron, who had the title of count.
Did he read Rondo’s thoughts? Aron turned his head and asked him.
“Are you curious about my plans?”
“Yes. I wonder.”
As Rondo nodded, Aron replied with a faint smile.
“Do you know what I put in the envelope?”
“Wasn’t it a piece of paper with the party leader’s location and some silver coins?”
“Right. But that’s not all.”
“Then what the hell did you add?”
In lieu of words, Aron pointed at the newly introduced drug that Rondo was cleaning up with his chin.
“No way. Did you put this drug in an envelope?”
Rondo’s hand, which was sorting out the drugs, stopped for a moment.
The new drug introduced this time was so dangerous that even a strong warrior could not stand it and could easily become addicted to it.
“Yes. I have exactly four days’ worth of medication.”
“Then they will be forced to show up at the party to get the drugs!”
“Yes, once you get into drugs, you can never forget them. If you want to get medicine, it will show up on its own.”
“As expected, the young master had a plan from the beginning.”
Aron and Rondo burst into laughter at the same time.
Aron never thought that this plan would fail.
In the first place, it was because Rondo and his gang, who were organizing drugs right next to them, couldn’t forget the drugs Aron brought and had been working together for several years.
“But one thing is unfortunate.”
“You mean the white-haired woman standing next to you?”
“Yes. She’s a beauty that would be a shame to have next to a guy who looks like a country boy.”
“Kuhuhhh. I was very surprised when I first saw it.”
“If the medicine runs out anyway, he will come to me directly.”
Remembering the image of the rail crew kneeling down to ask for medicine, Aron’s mansion couldn’t stop laughing for a while.
*
Arriving at the main gate of the mansion, I opened the envelope to confirm the location of the party venue.
The place of the party written on the paper was a rare place even in Harlem.
And inside the envelope were the silver coins Aron received as an advance payment and the familiar injection.
‘It’s probably an injection containing drugs.’
It was obvious to anyone who could see that they had addicted us to drugs and then used drugs as bait to use us for a long time.
I handed the syringe to Fenia, who was standing next to me, and asked.
“Can you handle it without harming the surroundings?”
“Of course not.”
Penia floated the injection she received from me into the air with telekinesis magic.
And as she flicked her fingers lightly, a red flame rose over her hand.
It was a simple basic magic, but her thick magic contained in flame magic made her power even stronger.
The syringes touched by her flame magic start to burn with hot flames.
Perhaps it’s because it’s the first time I’ve seen flame magic, and I felt a bit regretful that I could only use telekinesis magic.
With a deep sigh, we moved to the mansion.
Turning her head to the side, she saw the profile of Fenia walking right next to her.
“But can’t we release the magic now?”
“Oh, I forgot for a second.”
I forgot that Fenia’s magic, which had a different level, still hadn’t solved the magic that changed her appearance.
Fenia thrust her wand towards us.
Then, the blue magic that covered our bodies began to permeate into the staff.
When I looked in the mirror, my face was back to normal.
Alyn also returned to her usual expressionless face, and Fenia also returned to her usual young look.
Penia, who noticed my notice, looked up at me with a sinister smile.
“Are you sorry to return to your childhood? Shall we stay like that for a while?”
“I’m not interested.”
She replied that she was not interested, but the truth was that Fenia in her adult form was nice to see.
But when you consider that she is a monster of unknown age on the inside, Fenia doesn’t look very rational.
“How is Aline?”
“I think she likes the way she is now.”
“Really? Then I will live like this for the rest of my life.”
Penia seemed to be in a good mood at Aline’s honest answer.
After having such miscellaneous conversations, we arrived at the garden of the mansion before we knew it.
But in front of the door of the mansion, I saw the boy I hadn’t seen before.
“But who is he?”
As I point my finger at the boy, their eyes also turn to the boy.
In the late hours near dawn, a boy I had never seen before stood in front of the mansion with a nervous face.
When the boy lightly knocked on the door, the maid Luna, who was waiting in front of the door, immediately appeared.
“What are you looking for?”
“I came after seeing a notice written in the market. Is Rail Bioland inside?”
The boy seemed to be my guest, having read the notice I told Luna a few days ago.
