I Became The Necromancer In The Post-Apocalyptic Zombie World

Chapter 35 - r18

Chapter 35

—–CROW—–

“What the hell kind of guard duty was that—!!”

—*Wham!!*

“Cough! …S-Sorry, sir!”

One of the soldiers, momentarily knocked back by Kang Hae-seok’s kick, scrambled back to his position and stood at attention.  He and the soldier beside him had already been beaten repeatedly, their faces bruised and swollen.  The reason?  A death in the dormitory.

“What in the world…”

Lee Sang-woon watched the soldiers being brutally punished by Hae-seok.  A medical professor, Sang-woon had been the leader of the civilian group before the soldiers arrived.  He looked at the lifeless body lying before him.  Im Jeong-woo.  He’d been close enough to Sang-woon to plan a rebellion together.  Now, Jeong-woo lay dead, stabbed multiple times with a kitchen knife, discovered that morning in an unused room.  Hae-seok had ordered Sang-woon, being a doctor, to examine the body for clues, but he’d found nothing.  That’s why Hae-seok was now furiously beating the soldiers who’d been on guard duty.

“Listen up—!”

After punishing the guards, Hae-seok addressed the rest of the assembled survivors, both civilian and military.  His eyes, sharp and menacing, scanned each face.

“Whoever did this… I suggest you confess before I find you.  Because if I find you, you’ll experience hell.”

“…….”

No one answered. Hae-seok turned his gaze towards a man in the civilian group.

“Hey, Professor.  Come here.”

“…Y-Yes, sir!”

He’d called for Sang-woon.  Standing before the ferocious Hae-seok, Sang-woon trembled like a frightened rabbit.  Hae-seok placed a hand on his shoulder and spoke quietly.

“One week. You have one week to find the killer.  If you don’t, you’ll regret it.”

“…U-Understood.”

Sang-woon had been the civilian leader, but only because of his age and profession.  He was powerless against Hae-seok’s overwhelming strength.

“Who could have done this…?”

Sang-woon scanned the faces of the survivors, his gaze filled with anxiety and resentment.  They all avoided his eyes, fear etched on their faces.  He couldn’t imagine any of the civilians committing murder.

“One last thing. Until the culprit is found, food rations will be reduced by half.”

Hae-seok’s announcement after dismissing Sang-woon was met with despair from the civilian group.

“E-Even less than now? You want us to starve to death?!”

“That’s right! We just received a large supply of food! By selling our women…!”

Despite their fear of Hae-seok, the matter of food was a matter of survival, and the civilians began to protest.  Most of the complaints came from the women who had been offered to the masked man. Their sacrifice for the food made their resentment even stronger.

“Shut up—! If you want to eat, find the culprit!!”

Hae-seok’s sharp rebuke silenced the protests.

“Whoever did this, I won’t let them get away with it.”

The prolonged isolation and struggle for survival had taken a toll on everyone, including Hae-seok.  A murder within their ranks was unacceptable.  If people started suspecting each other, the group would collapse.  Hae-seok knew he couldn’t survive in this world without the group. He was furious at the murderer.

“Now start investigating and find the culprit! Dismissed—!”

The post-murder roll call concluded.

“P-Professor… what are we going to do?”

After Hae-seok dismissed everyone, Sang-woon gathered the civilian group for a private meeting.  Chae Su-ah and Shin Joo-ha, who were close to the soldiers, were absent.

“I don’t know… the guards on duty said they didn’t see anything…”

Sang-woon, burdened with the task of finding the killer, wiped the sweat from his brow. There was no evidence.  Jeong-woo had been stabbed to death in a rarely used room, and there were no clues at the scene.  There were no witnesses.  Finding the killer seemed impossible.

“The soldiers said they heard strange noises that night…”

One of the civilian men recalled what the guards had said.  They’d investigated the noises but found no one.  It was a strange story, but it didn’t help identify the killer.  Despair washed over Sang-woon.

“I thought we finally had a chance to breathe…”

They’d recently secured a large supply of food by sacrificing their women, escaping the threat of starvation.  Now, this.

“If a week passes like this…”

Hae-seok had given him one week to find the culprit.  Sang-woon knew Hae-seok also knew there was no way to find the killer.  The order was a demand for a scapegoat.  Someone to be punished, even if they were innocent.  Someone to be sacrificed to maintain order within the group.

“I have to choose another victim…”

A similar situation had occurred before.  He’d been planning a rebellion with some of the civilians when Seo-ho had approached him with urgent news: Chae Su-ah, who had overheard their plans, was Hae-seok’s mistress.  Prepared for the inevitable, Sang-woon had been summoned by Hae-seok, just like today, and ordered to provide a scapegoat. He’d chosen Seo-ho.

“I have to stain my hands with blood again…!”

The thought of indirectly causing another death filled him with anguish.  He couldn’t bear to look at the others.

“…Um…”

A voice spoke.

“I have a question.”

It was Ryu Da-hee.

“Why do you assume the killer is one of us?”

“…What?”

Sang-woon looked up, startled.

“W-What do you mean?”

“Well, couldn’t it have been one of the soldiers?  After all, it was one of *our* people who died.”

Da-hee’s casual observation caused the others, still reeling from the shock of the murder, to consider her words.

“N-Now that you mention it, why did we assume it was one of us?”

“Well, Hae-seok made it sound like it was obvious.”

“We all got along! I often talked to Jeong-woo!  R-Right?”

Da-hee’s question shifted the suspicion and fear within the group.

“But why would the soldiers…”

Sang-woon, being the oldest, quickly regained his composure and spoke rationally.

“Jeong-woo was stabbed multiple times with a kitchen knife.  A soldier would have used a different method.”

Even if it was a revenge killing, the murder weapon wasn’t something a soldier would use.  And a soldier would have disposed of the body more efficiently, perhaps with the help of their comrades, by throwing it to the zombies.  These doubts made Sang-woon hesitant to believe a soldier was responsible.

“It’s obvious they’re trying to frame one of us.”

Da-hee’s immediate response struck him like a blow.

—Frame a civilian.

The soldiers were certainly capable of it.

“B-But why would they do that…?”

Sang-woon couldn’t understand their motive. Why stage such a charade?  What did they gain from it?

“Hmph, well…”

Da-hee shrugged, answering Sang-woon’s anxious question with indifference.

“They probably wanted to get rid of someone they didn’t like and pretend they had nothing to do with it.”

“…”

Da-hee’s casual remark made everything click into place for Sang-woon.

“Jeong-woo was one of us…”

Jeong-woo had been part of the coup attempt.  Now he was dead, and if they couldn’t find a culprit among the civilians, they’d choose another civilian as a scapegoat.

“They’re trying to eliminate any possibility of another rebellion…!”

Sang-woon realized Hae-seok was trying to eliminate anyone who had participated in the previous rebellion.  There was no other explanation for this farce.  And the reasoning, even to Sang-woon, was sound.

“…Everyone, listen to me.”

Having gathered his thoughts, Sang-woon addressed the agitated group, sharing his interpretation of the murder.

“T-They… they killed him and are trying to blame us?”

“And they’re reducing our food rations too…?”

“Are they… are they doing this so they can have more food?”

“That’s it! They’re reducing our numbers and framing us so they can have more to eat! And they’re reducing our rations on top of that!”

Sang-woon carefully omitted any mention of the rebellion. He didn’t want the blame directed at him and the other conspirators.  His omission allowed the others to fill in the blanks with their own resentment-fueled assumptions.  The soldiers were killing them for food.

“Damn it…! We even sacrificed our women for them!!”

“Those bastards…! I can’t take this anymore…!!”

The humiliation and fear from the roll call transformed into outrage.  And that outrage was quickly escalating into uncontrollable rage.

“This is terrifying…”

Da-hee, having lit the match, quietly observed the growing flames.

“Everything is going according to plan.”

Events were unfolding with frightening ease.  The small pebble Seo-ho had thrown, through Na-yeon, had created a massive crack in the frozen lake, threatening to shatter the fragile peace.  Finally, Da-hee prepared to add the last piece of the puzzle.  She raised her hand.

“Um, I have something to say.”

Everyone turned to Da-hee, the one who had seemingly uncovered the truth.

“I have a proposition.”

She looked at their desperate faces, a sinister smile spreading across her lips.

“Da-hee is doing well.”

Seo-ho had observed the events unfold through his pigeon – Na-yeon killing Jeong-woo, the following day’s roll call, and the civilian meeting.  Da-hee had followed his instructions perfectly.  He was immensely pleased.

*Thrust, thrust, thrust—!*

“Haaahh…! Seo-ho…! Seo-ho…!♥”

“Na-yeon is impressive too.”

He hadn’t expected her to act so quickly, just two days after receiving his command.  He’d thought she’d take a few days to consider, to hesitate.  It was murder, after all. Even if she desperately wanted to stay at the department store, taking a life wasn’t easy.

“She’s definitely worthy of staying by my side.”

She’d committed murder just two days after receiving his command.  Her loyalty was remarkable.

“Mmm… haa, Seo-ho…”

*Thrust, thrust, thrust.*

“Do you like me *that* much? We’ve already done it three times.”

“B-But…”

He shifted his attention from the dormitory, through his pigeon, back to Han Mo-ah, who was riding him. He fondled her breasts. They weren’t as large as Da-hee’s or Ha-yeon’s, but they were soft and pleasant to the touch.

“I-I love… haahh! …being with you…!”

Mo-ah leaned forward, rubbing her body against his, her arms wrapped around his shoulders as she bucked her hips.

*Thrust, thrust, thrust!*

“Ahh… Mo-ah’s pussy never gets old.  So tight.”

“I love…! I love your cock too, Seo-ho…!”

“Just my cock?”

“No…! I love you too, Seo-ho… I really do…!”

Mo-ah nuzzled her cheek against his neck, showering him with affection.  Her small pussy continued to clench tightly around his cock.

*Thrust, thrust, thrust!*

“Good girl.  Since you’re being such a good girl, I’ll cum inside you…!”

“Yes…!  Ahh…! Fill me up…!  Cum inside me…! Make me feel good with all of you…!”

At his signal, Mo-ah’s small pussy began to clench even more frantically.  Wet, lewd sounds echoed from her tight opening as she pistoned her hips, eager to receive his seed.  Unable to hold back any longer, he filled her small womb with his cum.

*Spurt…!*

“Haaahh…! This feels so good!♥ So much of Seo-ho’s hot cum…! It feels so good…!♥”

Mo-ah convulsed, her pussy clenching as she felt his semen filling her. He held her close, kissing her as he savored the afterglow.

*Slurp, slurp.*

His tongue invaded her small mouth, mixing their saliva.  As he pulled away, a string of saliva connected their lips, and Mo-ah collapsed against his chest.

“Mmm… I love you, I love you so much…”

She continued to kiss his neck, her pussy still clenching tightly.

“I should visit Min-ah soon.”

He’d already conquered Mo-ah.  The dormitory was also progressing smoothly, thanks to his trusted lieutenant.  Today, he’d focus on Baek Min-ah.
