Chapter 139: With Flying Colors
“Hello, I’d like to buy a house. Are you the salesperson here?”
Just as Yu Yan finished speaking, a man in his early thirties came over and very politely asked Yang Jingwan.
“Yes, I am.” Yang Jingwan nodded grumpily.
“I want a house with three bedrooms and one living room. Is there a suitable unit you’d recommend?” the man asked.
“Yes!” Yang Jingwan couldn't help but express her joy, as she quickly replied.
“My apologies for my subordinate’s poor marketing abilities. Please, allow me!” Yu Yan interjected for fear that Yang Jingwan might screw up again.
“No, I asked her. Let her do it.” The male customer looked at Yang Jingwan.
“This way please!” Yang Jingwan hurriedly said.
The customer followed Yang Jingwan and left.
Yu Yan just stood there, stupefied as the two left her behind.
In less than ten minutes, Yang Jingwan successfully sold a house.
The client didn't even bother to inspect the house. He just swiped his credit card without a second thought, immediately spending 800,000 yuan.
It couldn't be more bold.
Yang Jingwan couldn’t help but be a little puzzled in this regard.
“Excuse me, but did someone refer you to me?” Yang Jingwan couldn't but ask.
“No.” The customer shook his head.
He left shortly after, not giving Yang Jingwan a chance to ask more questions.
A short while later, yet another client came to ask her for a house.
And in fifteen minutes, yet another generous customer bought a unit.
“What- why are they all going to her…” Yu Yan was dumbfounded.
However, what she didn’t know was that this was just the beginning.
On that morning alone, Yang Jingwan had personally sold a total of 12 suites, total sale amounting to more than 14 million yuan.
With that, a single person broke the record of their entire sales division in just one morning.
The entire sales department was shocked.
As the head of the sales department, Yu Yan’s performance ranked first almost every month, with her monthly sales usually being around the 8 million mark.
Going strictly by their historical records, she was sure to have been this month’s sales champion as well.
Alas, she’d never expected Yang Jingwan to overtake her at the last minute.
‘14 mil in a single morning… if the higher-ups find out, Yang Jingwan might get promoted.’
Yu Yan felt threatened.
Fortunately for her, she was wise enough to have assisted Yang Jingwan during these sales.
[Lunch time.]
Yang Jingwan was in such a good mood that even her lunch felt several times more delicious than usual.
After finishing her meal, she went to the flower pond just outside the sales department, itching to get some fresh air and bask in the sun.
Ring Ring!
[Caller ID: Su Lang]
“Hello? What’s the matter?” Yang Jingwan was in a much better mood; her tone of voice to Su Lang was much more gentle than it was this morning.
From the other end, Su Lang could tell just how happy she was.
[‘It must be because of Ma Hongsheng’s arrangements to buy houses from her.’]1Kshn: This is Su Lang’s thought, so we put it in [] so you guys can know its from the other side.
[“It's nothing; I just wanted to talk to you.”]Su Lang smiled.
“I'm quite busy at the moment. Why don’t we talk when I get home?”
Seeing that Wang Haoran was headed in her direction, Yang Jingwan immediately lost interest in Su Lang’s offer. Being “busy” was nothing more than an excuse to end this call.
Her good mood was the only reason her words came out as gently as they did.
But to Su Lang, this “change” in attitude was quite drastic.
[‘Why else would she ask that we simply talk at home when she could just reject my offer outright?’]
[‘Is she finally beginning to see me as her husband?’]
Things were finally looking good!
Su Lang was quite pleased. As they spoke, he made his way out of the small tram. For dinner, he planned on buying some vegetables and prepare a feast for Yang Jingwan!
[On the other side…]
Yang Jingwan quickly put her phone away and walked toward Wang Haoran.
“Why are you here?” But as soon as she asked the question, Yang Jingwan’s eyes widened a bt. She couldn’t help but examine Wang Haoran a bit more carefully.
She’d met him several times before. But for some reason, he looked particularly… handsome, today? He had this indescribable temperament to him, as a feeling of attraction washed over her.
“I like to wander around during my lunch break.” He replied, before noticing her gaze. “Is there something on my face?”
“No, not at all.” Yang Jingwan shyly responded as she began to shrink out of arm’s reach.

Wang Haoran was surprised to have received the system prompt.
Just by looking at him, her favorability increased?
‘Is it because of my charm value?!’
“How’d it go?” Wang Haoran quickly put his thoughts to the side and asked.
“In just one morning, I sold 12 units.” Yang Jingwan happily responded. However, something didn’t quite add up:
“Did you refer them to me?”
“If not me then who else?” Wang Haoran smiled.
“I knew it. There’s no way I could’ve been that lucky!”
With her doubts answered, she began to look more favourably at Wang Haoran.

“Won't you invite me to sit down?” Wang Haoran asked, taking advantage of the situation.
Yesterday, he eavesdropped on her conversation with her boss. From her tone, he could tell that the latter was in a filthy mood.
So when he got here, he used Qin Yunhan’s name and casually said hello.
Considering all the trouble he went through, of course, he’d try to get something.
“Of course! Please do!” Yang Jingwan was quick to respond, as she quickly took his hand and led him to the lobby of the sales department.
Since everyone was still in the middle of their break, the hall was empty.
Yang Jingwan brought him to a reception room and got some tea for them.
As they made their way there, they encountered Yu Yan.
“Hello, Manager Yu.” Yang Jingwan straightened her back and greeted her.
Her performance this month has far exceeded the standard, but her job still needed to be saved.
Yu Yan had no reason to make things difficult for herself.
“This is your resignation letter; I have already signed it. You don't need to come tomorrow.” Yu Yan sneered, throwing a piece of paper at Yang Jingwan.
