Chapter 7.1
My unique trait, Imbuement, pairs exceptionally well with my attribute and magical nature, Void.
It allows me to designate a target (A) and assign it a specific property (B).
Simple yet incredibly versatile, this unique trait lets me fully harness the infinite potential of my magic, which exists yet doesn’t truly exist.
For example, if I were to imbue a property like 「Piercing」, I could create an attack capable of penetrating any defense, depending on how much magic I infused into it. It would function similarly to someone inherently possessing the 「Piercing」 trait.
At the moment, I’m only skilled enough to assign one property at a time. But if I become capable of imbuing multiple properties simultaneously?
I could combine 「Piercing」 with 「Bleeding」, 「Infection」, or even 「Paralysis」 to amplify the effects of my attacks.
And there’s more.
A small dot of energy formed at my fingertip—a black dot. As I dragged my finger through the air, the dot stretched into a long line. This demonstrated the effect of my unique trait, 「Connection」.
I formed another dot at my fingertip and launched it like a magic bullet. Instead of a single projectile, the black dot left a lingering line in its trajectory.
For now, I can only extend dots into lines, but with practice, I should eventually be able to form surfaces, and perhaps even consume entire spaces.
The 「Void」 attribute, which was once limited to forming simple spheres, has become far more adaptable thanks to the 「Connection」 trait.
Technically, even the sphere isn’t truly three-dimensional—it’s just an enlarged one-dimensional point. Its immense size distorts the surrounding space, giving it an apparent three-dimensional form that affects its surroundings.
This opens up endless possibilities.
“Like this…”
I aimed a dot of magic at a wooden training dummy in the corner of the training room. I imbued it with the 「Binding」 property and launched it.
The magic bullet extended into a line as it flew, wrapping around the dummy as though to bind it.
If it were just a rope, the binding would have been clumsy and ineffective—it didn’t even physically touch the dummy. Instead, it simply encircled the target in a loose ring.
But because of the 「Binding」 property, it didn’t matter whether the magic made direct contact. The moment it landed, the target’s movements were restricted. Even with the binding floating loosely around the dummy, it would be completely immobilized, unable to lift a single finger.
Moreover, because it’s a line rather than a point, it’s exceptionally sturdy. It would take overwhelming magical resistance to break.
This is why the 「Connection」 trait is so invaluable. Magic that starts as a defined shape—lines, surfaces, or three-dimensional forms—is inherently limited by its structure.
For example, a spell like a magic cannon is designed with its beam-like form in mind, restricting its potential. It doesn’t start as a point infinitely extended into a line, but rather as a predetermined form.
But my magic, which originates as a mere point of 「Void」 and can be infinitely extended into lines, offers unparalleled cohesion and destructive power.
“Even the Demon Lord can’t do this. I’m the only one who can utilize the Void attribute like this.”
This was my greatest advantage.
Even the Demon Lord, who shares the Void attribute, couldn’t manipulate it this intricately. They could only create small points or massive ones—nothing more.
Beyond that, they relied on overwhelming physical strength or invoked magical authorities derived from demonic energy to achieve their goals.
When I realized how my unique traits allowed me to wield Void magic in such diverse ways, even I was shocked.
Isn’t this ridiculously overpowered?
At first, I thought I’d barely be able to match my sister in a fight, but after understanding my unique traits, I realized it would be strange for me to lose under normal conditions.
Of course, that’s assuming I have the combat sense to back it up.
Honestly, why wasn’t this character included in the original story? With these looks and abilities, Scarlett could have easily been a male protagonist.
It’s frustrating not knowing anything about this body. There must be more to uncover, but I have no way of finding out.
Anyway.
The final unique trait, 「Coordination」…
It’s the least flashy but also the most critical.
Its primary role is to prevent me from overloading and self-destructing under the strain of my absurd specs.
For example, when infinitely connecting dots into lines with 「Connection」, 「Coordination」 manages the otherwise infinite processing load.
It has other uses, but most importantly, it’s my lifeline.
After wrapping up my training and reviewing my unique traits, I returned to the surface.
It was already quite late, so I summoned Daisy immediately. Since I’d skipped her yesterday, I made sure to lavish her with twice the attention today.
I wondered if my sister was watching again.
Since that day, I had been going down to the underground training room every day to hone my traits. Physical training was kept minimal—just enough to improve my agility.
As a mage-type, it was unrealistic for me to defeat my sister, a knight, in close combat. Especially considering that her traits were geared entirely toward physical combat.
Still, it seemed I couldn’t completely deny my bloodline’s influence. My physical abilities were far beyond what I’d expected, to the point where neglecting them would be foolish.
By academy standards—at least in the knight program—I was on par with an advanced knight. Considering the academy graduate average was around 60 in stats, it was clear that both my sister and I had inherited exceptional bloodline traits.
With my sister’s help, I decided to learn basic swordsmanship.
Before I lost my memories, not only had my sister mastered the basics, but she had also surpassed most knights in her swordsmanship skills. She was eager to teach me.
Apparently, she could handle nearly every weapon—swords, spears, you name it.
Her favorite was the spear, though.
I was curious to see her wield it, but with our sparring session coming up, she insisted on keeping it a secret. I couldn’t convince her otherwise, which left me a bit disappointed. I wanted to see her in action.
Still, I kept practicing with the sword as she instructed, trusting that I’d see her spear skills someday.
It was fascinating how quickly I adapted. My body seemed to remember things I didn’t.
When sparring against the blood golems my sister created, my sword would sometimes move in ways I hadn’t intended, striking with precision to take down the golems.
Each time it happened, my sister explained that it was my muscle memory from before I lost my memories guiding the blade naturally.
If Scarlett was this naturally talented, it made me wonder—just how skilled was my sister? Curious, I opened her status window.
Leticia Chepes
Affection: 69
Strength: 144
Agility: 157
Stamina: 125
Endurance: 142
Magic: 135
Her stats had risen again.
Scrolling further down, I saw her traits and unique traits.
Traits: 「Bloodline Vampire」「Form」「Knight」
Unique Traits: 「Jack of All Trades」「Peerless Beauty」「Devotion」「Weapon Master」
Since the 「House Head」 trait had transferred back to me, she now had the 「Knight」 trait in its place. Her stats had also improved slightly.
Her unique traits, however, were staggering.
Jack of All Trades signified near-universal talent.
Peerless Beauty provided a 100% bonus to the hidden “Charm” stat as well as all other stat proficiencies.
And then there was Weapon Master—a trait whose name alone spoke volumes of its absurdity.
No wonder the Chepes siblings were considered legendary.
