I Have a Penglai Immortal Island

Chapter 027 – Sea Conflict Part 2

Watching the iron boat start up, Jiang Jianzhu, the leader among the group, spoke up first, "I'm Jiang Jianzhu. This boat is mine. Things have escalated to this point. Name your price." He seemed a bit impatient.

The fat guy who had fallen into the water finally climbed up, cowering at the stern of the boat. This time, he didn't dare to make a sound.

Da Linzi, agitated, shouted, "Name your damn price! You were trying to kill me, and now you're acting like we're extorting you! Just because you have money?" In his mind, his three thousand balance was enough; how could he let someone buy his life with money?

Jiang Jianzhu also realized that this wasn't going to end well. The yacht floating nearby was likely theirs, worth at least several million, indicating these people were not short on money.

One of the two women, who hadn't spoken yet, tried to mediate, "Everyone, calm down. I think…"

Zhao Zhao interrupted her, addressing Jiang Jianzhu, "Let's not waste time. I have only one solution. You all jump into the water, and I'll drive this yacht and hit each of you once. If you dodge, you're lucky, and it's over. If you can't, and you die, then it's still over. I'm a person of my word. I'll only hit you once and won't come back. Now, jump."

The man who had been silent, the one piloting the yacht, finally couldn't hold back. "Who are you? Stop talking nonsense. You wouldn't dare kill us. Even if we can't beat you today, your family won't live peacefully afterward."

The always-observant Yaoguang interjected, "Who's your dad? Is this the part where you report your dad's name? Say it, let's see if he's on TV!" The parrot spirit curiously asked.

The group's expressions turned complicated; these people were unfazed by threats.

Encountering a tough nut in Chonghai was unexpected. Who would have thought that a fisherman could have such martial prowess?

From the moment Zhao Zhao slapped the fat guy off the yacht, Da Linzi felt reassured. Hearing her words now, he almost laughed out loud but managed to hold it in.

"I'm an orphan. You can't threaten me. You treat human lives like they're worthless. Did you never think you'd face this day?" She kicked a nearby lounge chair, sending it crashing into the cabin door, which splintered. The impact even cracked the nearby bulletproof glass, causing screams on the deck.

"Don't waste my time. The injured need to go to the hospital. If you don't jump, I can help. You saw earlier, it's no trouble for me."

Jiang Jianzhu realized things weren't going to end well. He conceded, "My friend spoke out of turn. We're willing to cover medical expenses and offer compensation…"

"Jump," Zhao Zhao cut him off.

She knew Da Linzi's current physical condition. Regularly drinking juice mixed with spirit spring water, eating spiritual fruits, and the White Dragon Fish had significantly improved his physical resilience. If it had been his old self, he wouldn't have dodged the collision, and she would have lost her brother.

These people would likely settle a human life for a few hundred thousand, money that wouldn't even cover a few wheels on their luxury cars. Such thoughts only fueled her anger.

Seeing her resolute attitude, Jiang Jianzhu felt humiliated. He had never been threatened like this. He turned and jumped into the water, "I admit defeat today. Let's see if you dare kill us all."

Another, realizing they were out of options, followed suit. Only the fat guy, having been in the water once, refused, screaming about the killer whale below. Zhao Zhao unceremoniously helped him along.

The two women, who had been begging for mercy, claimed they were just along for the ride and hadn't participated in the fight. Da Linzi confirmed they hadn't joined in, only watched.

Zhao Zhao deemed them harmless and told them to sit in the corner under Daqi's watch.

Da Linzi, limping, followed Zhao Zhao into the cockpit. She instructed him not to touch anything. Grateful for the new Poseidon, she easily found the surveillance system and disabled it.

The three in the water lost their arrogant demeanor.

Da Linzi, eager to try, was pushed aside by Zhao Zhao. "If you drive, you might actually kill them."

The yacht started, and the three in the water dispersed. Zhao Zhao steered slowly towards Jiang Jianzhu. As she approached, he began to dive, moving sideways underwater. As an ordinary person, his breath-holding was limited. Zhao Zhao watched him underwater, waiting until he surfaced for air, then accelerated towards him.

Just as he surfaced, the massive yacht loomed before him. He froze, realizing she really dared. Helplessly, he awaited his death, thinking his life was short and would end here…

But the yacht didn't hit him. He was swept aside by the yacht's wave. The icy water stung, but he was just glad to be alive.

It wasn't luck. Zhao Zhao didn't actually want to kill them. She used her water manipulation to push him aside, scaring him while using the waves to beat him.

The remaining two suffered the same fate, the sea filled with screams and pleas.

She tossed a few water boards to them before heading back to the Poseidon. Da Linzi needed to get to the hospital.

The two women, who couldn't drive the yacht, were left on the boat as Zhao Zhao returned to the three men floating in the sea.

As she departed, she smiled at Jiang Jianzhu clinging to a water board, "Think about why you're still alive."

Upon arriving at the Changshan Island hospital, Xiong Haitao called, having just learned about Da Linzi's incident, deeply worried.

Da Linzi and Daqi, however, felt relieved, chatting excitedly about their revenge.

It seemed they easily moved on from offending a multimillion-dollar yacht owner. They had big hearts.

Zhao Zhao didn't know who Jiang Jianzhu was, but she noted the yacht's name, "Dream Zephyr," for future reference.

The doctor disinfected and rebandaged Da Linzi's wounds, giving him an IV. He needed to stay calm and return daily for treatment. Da Linzi deflated upon hearing this, the heat making recovery harder.

Back on Jinshi Island, Da Linzi's parents and Daqi's mother were waiting at the dock.

Daqi, mostly unscathed, was jumping around, but Da Linzi's condition shocked Qin Yunmei.

Her tall son had one pant leg cut off, bandages wrapped around, his face swollen and bruised, limping.

She rushed to him, gripping his arm, patting his back, a move both parents favored…

"You troublemaker! You couldn't avoid trouble for half a day and ended up like this!"

Zhao Zhao intervened, "Second Aunt, take good care of him. The wound is serious and needs proper care. He must return to the hospital tomorrow. Make him some special noodles tonight to ward off bad luck. He barely survived today. Cook him something nice." Da Linzi nodded eagerly.

Qin Yunmei rolled her eyes, "Eat? He caused trouble again." Xiong Haitao's glare silenced her, and she helped Da Linzi home.

Zhao Zhao explained the day's events to her uncle.
