I Reject the villain’s ending.

CHAPTER : 37

Episode 37.

It’s the morning after a long night, with the heat filling every corner of the room even without the covers on.

They say. regret is always too late.

I was one of them.

“Ha, I’m going to die. My back is going to fall off. Ugh, cut.”

I sprawled out on the sunlit bed and muttered under my breath.

“I’m so glad it’s over by sunrise…….”

I wasn’t kidding, my back was throbbing so badly I wondered if it was missing.

It’s almost as if my vertebrae have separated and disappeared one by one.

I couldn’t feel my thighs at all.

“Two more times and I’m going to the netherworld.”

I barely turn my head to glance at Iros, who is sleeping soundly beside me, his face like a child’s.

“How’s the damned pink sleeping?”

“…….”

“My back is giving out.”

Cringe.

Iros’s shoulders stirred slightly in his sleep.

I didn’t miss it, narrowing my eyes and glaring into Pink’s face.

My face must have tingled, but Iros continued to pretend to sleep.

“I know you’re awake, so why don’t you get up and help me?”

“Yes.”

Iros reluctantly turned his head away from my gaze and stood up, fumbling for a shirt lying on the bed.

I let out an ooh and aah as I watched the muscles of his defined back move as he pulled the shirt on, and Iros blushed and flushed.

He did this, that, and the other until the red sun rose through the window, and then he was so shy like it was all a dream. I guess it’s in my nature.

I said grumpily to Iros, who gently picked me up from my limp body as if I were a baby.

“Make sure you have a bath ready.”

“Yes.”

“And order a new bed. This is the first time I’ve ever had a broken bed and torn mattress.”

“…….”

Iros made a small excuse, his head bowed low like a sinner and his face flushed red.

“That’s because the saint didn’t let me go all night…….”

“Huh?”

You ungrateful pinkie. I glared at Iros in disbelief.

He’s the one who held me in a mess all night, and he’s turning his head like a new poet on his first night.

Who fooled me with that innocent face, while underneath he wielded something ugly and huge!

I swear to you, in all my twenty-one years of life combined, this is the first time I’ve ever been so close to being killed.

I said seriously.

“Pink, perhaps you left your conscience in Elotta. What, you see me unable to pull myself up and you don’t let me go?”

“That, that’s enough.”

“I told you to get some sleep, to get some sleep, please, and for what?”

“Because I was wrong.”

Iros muttered in a voice as muffled as a crawling mosquito, then leaped out of bed and ran to the bathroom.

“I’m going to get some water!”

“What, you’re running away?”

“No, it’s a strategic retreat.”

“Huh?”

I rubbed my eyes in disbelief and ran a hand through my hair, which Iros had tousled last night.

My body was a mess, my hair was all tangled up, and I was incredibly hungry.

“This is why, Wen. I have to go to the Ministry of Magic, and I can’t walk. I’ll be sick if I have to take a carriage.”

I have a tight schedule again today, and I have no energy left.

No, if a saint, who is stronger and more self-healing than the average person in every way, is this much of a saint in the first place, then no one else…….

I stared at the broken bedposts, the bed at an odd angle, the mattress torn apart by the sheer force of the blow, and swallowed a sigh.

“So this is what I’m made of,” I thought, “how am I still alive after a night like that?”

In a normal world, I would have been devastated.

Now it was time for resignation and acceptance.

I stretched and stretched, letting the divine power flow through my body, and it felt better.

I can’t help it that I still have no strength.

A moment later, there was a light, cheerful knock on the door, and Mei’s cheerful voice came from the other side.

“Saint, are you awake, may I come in?”

“Don’t open the door!”

“What?”

“Well, Mei, you can have a leisurely breakfast today and come in in an hour.”

“Okay!”

Mei replied happily, perhaps because she had earned her meal break, and disappeared, her footsteps echoing down the hall.

“Phew. Can’t have a kid in a room like this.”

The room had been used all night.

“Sister, I got the water, are you coming in now?”

“You were right to tell Mei to be back in an hour.”

“What?”

I muttered, looking at Iros, who had a blank expression.

“…Did I bite them all off like that?”

Doesn’t that make me a vampire or a leech?

It was a feast of red bites, bruises, and kiss marks on my already white skin.

I’d heard that kiss marks were a symbol of possessiveness, and while I’m a possessive person, I didn’t realize it was that bad.

I wrapped the duvet roughly around myself and sat up in bed, admiring the hard body peeking out through his shirt.

“Woof-pink, would you like to take your clothes off?”

“You’ve been like this since morning?”

“Ouch, my back is so sore from earlier.”

“I’m not taking off my trousers.”

Sighing, Iros grabbed his shirt and pulled it up and off.

“Are you done now?”

“No. Leave the shirt on the floor and turn around.”

“You mean… like this?”

“Yes. Now turn round a full circle.”

“Come closer to me.”

“…….”

“More. More. More.”

When Iros was right in front of me, I giggled and hugged his neck.

“Pink’s in charge of bathing and dressing today.”

“And the dressing?”

“So you’re going to ask Mei to take care of you, in this state?”

Iros looked at the dark, clear marks on our bodies and the bed and fell silent.

It was not something to show her.

“I’ll take care of it.”

“Okay. Just be careful with him. Don’t go off the deep end like you did this morning.”

“When did I ever……!”

I quickly scowled at Iros as he was about to yell.

“Ouch, that bruise on your thigh hurts-”

“What? Sin, I’m sorry. When did you get the bruise?”

It was a clumsy foot act, but the handprints and bruises on my thighs were so clear that Iros winced.

To the point where his usually calm and collected pupils were lost and fluttering.

Thankfully, Iros’s hands were gentler and more careful than ever as he carried me to the bathroom.

“Is the water temperature okay?”

“Mmm. Huh, it’s warm.”

“You look like an old man.”

“You should get in there. You’ll get a kick out of this.”

“No thanks, I’ll wash up later.”

“You come in, too. Wash with me.”

“……!”

“That’s an order.”

I said with a smirk, and Iros hastily grabbed my cheek and turned my head away.

I jerked my head back and saw his blushing reflection in the mirror.

“What is it, are you embarrassed?”

“No.”

“Then why are you blushing? Oh, did you stand-”

“No, don’t say that, don’t choose your words with the dignity of a saint, I’m just going to wash up, don’t say anything!”

“I was just asking?”

As if reading my thoughts, Iros grabbed the bucket of water as soon as I thought, “I can’t believe we spent all last night and this morning building the Great Wall together and now he’s embarrassed about something like this.

He gritted his teeth and poured a bucket of water over my head.

“I’ll wash your hair first!”

“You’re washing my hair, but not my face, woof!”

“You’re getting water in your mouth. Keep your mouth shut.”

“I, Sue, need to breathe, boo boo!”

No, I mean, how on earth can you wash your hair and not have water in your mouth?

“He must be doing this on purpose!

I looked at Iros in disbelief as I finished my deliberate bath and dried myself off with a thick, long towel.

“I’ll be out of here in a minute,” I said, “and don’t you dare peep, and don’t you dare roll that fine head of yours to the wrong side.”

“What am I, a pervert?!”

“Yes.”

I was about to say something when Iros slammed the bathroom door shut and walked in. I heard the lock click, click, click.

So, not only did he call me a pervert, but he also locked the bathroom door.

“Well, well. I don’t think anyone’s peeping, but you’re overly self-conscious, it’s ridiculous.”

And with that, I crawled like a caterpillar to the front of the bathroom and poked my head out.

You know how when you’re told not to do something, you always want to do it more, right? Or maybe not.

“Tsk. Who made the bathroom door out of wood? I can’t see through it.”

There’s a glass partition in the middle, I can see inside, but it’s a blurry silhouette.

I could hear water splashing as he got into the tub, water dripping as he stood up, and the occasional humming song.

I leaned against the door and squeezed my eyes shut, listening to the low humming, which was quite pleasant, when suddenly the door flew open and I was thrown into the bathroom.

“Uh, huh?”

I stumbled over, but Iros had tied a towel around me so tightly that I couldn’t get my arms out.

I squeezed my eyes shut, bracing myself for the collision, and my tilting body came to a stop with a thud against Iros’s leg.

Shaking off the bad premonition, he jerked his head up and made eye contact with Iros, who was wearing a frown.

“…….”

“Ahhhhhh.”

For the first time, I realized that human eyes were capable of such a variety of nasty insults.

I let out an awkward chuckle, but Iros took a step back, clutching his apron tightly out of habit.

This caused me to stumble backward.

“Ouch, that hurt!”

“Why are you there…….”

“Don’t look at that rubbish like that, Pink.”

“Scum stays in the bin, not peeking in on people taking a bath. What the hell is a saint…….”

Me why. Me what. Why. Why.

He didn’t follow up, but the contempt in Iros’s violet eyes said it all.

“I want you to die, why are you living?

…I said.

“I want you to die, why are you living?

I coughed, embarrassed, and smirked.

“Can you help me up, haha.”

“…….”

“It’s almost an hour before Mei’s supposed to come in, huh? You need to get changed, your hair needs to be dried, and our room needs to be cleaned up, Pink?”

Iros looked at me for a moment, as if he had a lot to say, then sighed.

“I’m going to get you a change of clothes, and you’re going to stay put, and if you follow me again or do anything.”

“If?”

I shook my head, and Iros gave me the coldest eyes in the world.

“I’ll show you how far my nagging can stretch.”

“…….”

I lost. I had just heard the scariest threat I’d ever heard.

I shut my mouth like a clam and avoided his fearsome gaze.
