Chapter 8 Remy-style shopping

After leaving Gringotts and walking on the streets of Diagon Alley, Remy and Harry did not go shopping immediately, but took a walk first.

As for Hagrid, he probably had some lingering effects from his previous car ride, so he said he was going to the Leaky Cauldron to meet some shrews for a drink to relieve his fatigue and had already left.

But Remy felt that he was lying. He probably just wanted the two of them to experience shopping in Diagon Alley.

"What should we buy first? How about I go with you to buy the magic materials you want to buy? To be honest, I am quite interested in them." Harry said.

"Okay, let's go then."

With that said, Remy walked into a nearby store, and Harry was stunned for a moment.

"Remy, this is..."

"Welcome, two guests, do you want to buy a crucible? We have..."

"Give me ten of each type of crucible, thank you."

The store manager's eyes suddenly lit up, and the corners of his mouth almost reached his ears.

"No problem! The two guests will sit down and rest for a while, and I'll go get the goods right away."

While inviting Remy and Harry to take a seat, the store manager enthusiastically poured two cups of tea for them and then entered the warehouse. Soon there was a jingling sound inside.

"Um...Remy, have you always bought things like this before? We don't know the price yet, just in case..."

"It seems that you don't have an accurate understanding of the financial resources that I and you have. With the money that the two of us have, not only buying the entire Diagon Alley, but at least emptying their warehouses will not be a problem at all."

Remy said calmly while drinking tea.

But there was one thing he didn't say, that is, he could still call for support even if he didn't have enough money.

For Nico Flamel, who has the magic stone to turn anything into gold, money does nothing but take up space.

And Remy had already reached an agreement with Nicolés Flamel, who would provide him with unlimited financial support until he came of age.

However, when Remy comes of age, not only will Nicolás Flamel no longer provide a penny, but Remy will also have to pay back the money he used in installments within 100 years.

"I have never bought anything like this before. I barely had any pocket money before... I lived at my aunt's house, and their family treated me very badly," Harry said.

"Look on the bright side, at least you still have a home. I don't even know where my home is right now!" Remy said.

Harry was stunned for a moment: "Then what will you do during the holidays? Oh, by the way...Does Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry have holidays? Or do we have to live in the school all the time?"

"There are holidays." Remy nodded: "If there is a holiday...I might go to my teacher's house...or stay overnight at school, it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter where I live. Anyway, even if I go home, my parents will definitely It also takes me all over the world, and I will still have to stay in a hotel, so I might as well stay overnight in school."

"Really? I would like to stay overnight if I could. I don't want to go back to my aunt's house."

"Okay then, we can form a group then."

……

After chatting and drinking tea, the store manager soon brought the things Remy needed in a trolley.

Several carts, at least hundreds of different crucibles.

I opened the suitcase and asked the store manager to help put it in. The store manager couldn't help but look at Remy twice.

"It's rare for freshmen to have this kind of equipment." The store manager praised.

"It will be common in the future."

Remy said with a smile, while taking out the money to pay for the goods.

After the store manager put all the crucibles into the box, Harry quickly took out the equipment list and bought some crucibles, but he didn't buy a lot, and he inquired about the price in detail before buying.

"Harry, leave your things here with me. It's more convenient... We have to buy a lot of things later," Remy said.

"Oh, okay, sorry to trouble you."

"It's just a little thing."

After leaving the crucible shop, Remy took Harry and headed into the potion shop opposite.

I thought that this time Remy would make another large purchase without distinction, but Remy did not.

He didn't buy even one bottle of potion. Instead, he bought several boxes of test tubes, empty bottles, and the raw materials needed to make the potion.

But after arriving at the bookstore, Remy returned to his "nature" and packed a copy of all the magic books in the bookstore.

The price of magic books is very expensive, almost every book is priced in galleons, which makes Harry feel a little pained to buy textbooks.

Although he didn't know how many pounds one gold galleone was, he knew that the purchasing power of galleons was very strong as he had bought ice cream before!

"This set, this set, and those sets over there... Yes, you don't need to give them to me, I don't want these sets, wrap up the others for me!"

In the clothing store, Harry was once again surprised by Remy's shopping method. He had never thought that there was such a way to buy clothes.

He wanted to imitate it, but in the end Harry still couldn't get over the hurdle in his mind, and in the end he only bought the school uniforms and work clothes mentioned in the equipment list.

"It seems that there are no dragonhide gloves in this store, have you seen it?" Harry asked while looking at the equipment list.

"The dragon leather gloves should be in the magic equipment store or potion shop. Let's check it out later. Now... we should buy a wand," Remy said.

I had just picked up my suitcase and was about to go out, when a handsome boy with platinum hair walked in. Who else could he be if he wasn't Draco?

"Oh, platinum hair, you should be a descendant of the platinum family, right?" Remy asked.

"You...are you?" Draco asked with a slightly reserved look as he looked at Remy and Harry, as if his rhythm was disrupted by Remy's head start.

"Well, won't we get to know each other after school? We still have to buy wands. Let's go first and say goodbye~"

With that said, Remy waved to Harry and walked out of the clothing store.

Harry glanced at Draco curiously, then chased after Remy.

"Remy, what is the Platinum Family?" Harry asked curiously.

"The Platinum family is the Malfoy family, one of the 28 pure-blood families in the wizarding world, and one of the oldest pure-blood families!"

Hearing the sound, Remy and Harry stopped at the same time and turned their heads, only to see Draco following them out for some reason.

"My name is Draco, Draco Malfoy."

With that said, Draco held out his hand to Remy.

Remy was a little surprised, but he still shook hands with Draco: "Remy, Remy Barrett."

Barrett?

Draco frowned, and there was a trace of confusion in his eyes: "If I remember correctly, there seems to be no Barrett family in the magical world, right?"

"To be precise, there is no such family in the magic world of the Kingdom of Magnesium. My family is quite famous in the Kingdom of Magnesium." Remy said with a smile, playing a word game by the way.

He only said that the Barrett family was famous in the Magnesium Country, but he did not say that it was famous in the magic world of the Magnesium Country~
