I have been observing for a few days but those girls have not done anything. So, I need to take matters in my own hands for now.
“Sylvia, we are going to harass red hair again.”
“Understood, mistress.”
“Keep a look out and make sure to report to me whenever you spot her. We shall do this once a day until I get bored.”
“You’re going to go harass her again? I’ll prepare cups of water then.”
“Your help is appreciated, Melanie.”
“Heh, I have become an expert in knowing when to give you water.”
“I know. You are doing a good job. Come, let us go to class.”
The three of us went to class. By coincidence, I see Lyn and Juliet walking to school together.
“Ah, how fortuitous. Sylvia, guide them.”
“Are you sure, mistress? I do not believe Juliet has seen what we do.”
“Yes, it is fine. If Juliet wishes to tell then that is her choice.”
“Understood, mistress.”
Sylvia ran up to them and they spoke for a bit. The two of them looked back at me. Juliet waves her hands and Lyn sighs. Seems she already knows what I plan to do. We entered a alley before the school.
“Good morning, miss Athena!”
“What the hell do you want now?”
“Have you been bothered by them recently?”
“No.”
I already knew it but it was better to confirm with the person themselves.
“I see. How sad. Which is why I have decided to act once again.”
“Really? Why don’t you just stop?”
“No.”
Melanie gives me a cup of water and I splash it on her face. It was different from before. I decided to change my way of splashing her.
“Woah, you’re drenched! Why did you do that, miss Athena?”
“Come over here, Juliet.”
Juliet stood beside me as we looked at Lyn. She was just standing looking at the ground.
“Now, look at her.”
I ignore the wetness of her face as I raise it to face me. Her fists are shaking as she controls her anger. She glares at me as I force her to face me.
“Does she not look adorable?”
“Huh?”
Juliet looks directly at her. Then, she starts going around Lyn looking at her from different angles.
“I guess so? I don’t really get why it’s adorable though.”
“We have different tastes, I see.”
“Hmm, then can you do that to me too?”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah! Seems fun!”
Juliet smiles brightly. Lyn sighs as she looks at me.
“She’s serious, you know? I don’t get how she survived this long being like this.”
“What does that mean!? My parents told me that they love me, okay!?”
“Wait, how did your parents get involved?”
“Well, you don’t know how I survived! Its thanks to my parents!”
“That’s not relevant to the conversation!”
“It is so!”
They continued to argue for a while. I remained silent as I found them amusing.
“Argh, fine. Thanks to your parents for you surviving this long.”
“Yeah!”
Juliet hugs Lyn as she says that with a bright smile on her face.
“Are you two finished?”
“Oh! Sorry, miss Athena.”
“Do not worry about it.”
I take another cup and splash it on Juliet’s face.
“Woah!”
Lyn sighs as she sees Juliet moving around.
“There. I have fulfilled your request.”
“Hmm.”
Juliet stops moving and starts thinking for some reason. I decided to wait for her.
“Yeah, I still don’t get it. It’s not really fun.”
“Then would you like to try it? I still have some.”
“I can?”
“Yes. However, you can only target her.”
I point at Lyn.
“Oh hell no. No way in hell am I letting you do that!”
Lyn yelled at Juliet as she considered doing what I said.
“But I don’t know if it’s fun to do.”
“No, hell no. Stop listening to her already. Don’t you get it? She’s doing the same thing as those girls.”
“Huh? Nah, miss Athena isn’t like them. What are you talking about?”
“Hey, I don’t really get why you like her so much but they’re doing the same thing, okay?”
Juliet looks at me.
“Really?”
I nod at her.
“Oh, but miss Athena should have good reasons, right? She’s not like those other girls.”
“Well? Do you?”
Juliet and Lyn look at me.
“No. I do it because I find it amusing.”
“Oh.”
“See? Now, let’s go. We gotta clean this up. We can’t go to class wet.”
“Okay. See you later, miss Athena!”
Was Juliet really like this? I never knew she was such an innocent soul.
“Uh, I think I really should avoid Juliet.”
Melanie has been silent the whole time and she decides to speak as we walk towards the school.
“Why is that?”
“I feel like if I get too close, she’ll know everything about me by the end of the day.”
“Why?”
“She’s the type to ask all her questions. Like those who can’t stop themselves from wanting to know something they don’t understand. I don’t think I can refuse answering.”
“True. However, it would be in your best interest to befriend her.”
“Huh? Why?”
“She is the type of person who will defend you no matter what. So, if you get in trouble she might help you.”
“I guess so.”
Melanie seems to disagree but she does not voice it as we reach the school.
“Mistress, we are here.”
Sylvia speaks as we arrive in school. We see the prince and his boyband with Lyn and Juliet. The prince seems to be worried as to why they were both drenched. Juliet still seems happy as she talks but I do not think they have told the prince anything.
“Come, let us go to class.”
As we pass through them, the prince meets my gaze. He looks at Lyn and then back at me seeming to ask if I was involved. I sneer at him and he shivers as I walk away. Ah, another great day.
