Chapter 6.2: First Collaboration
I sometimes forget, but I used to be a man. It’s been over a decade since I started living as a woman, so I hardly have any male consciousness left, and I’ve long stopped feeling uncomfortable about being a woman. However, those deeply ingrained feelings don’t disappear easily, and there are remnants of my male identity here and there. At least, for the current me, not being able to see men as romantic interests is one of those remnants.
But then again, the question of whether I see women as romantic interests is also a tricky one, since I feel nothing when looking at the naked figure of my female classmate when I was changing my clothes with them for the swimming lesson….
“Um, well… hmm, what should I say?”
genozuzek7401: Yui-can is really struggling
RetirededKat: She might have picked the wrong collaboration partner…
Even though I’ve been recently called a “klutz,” I can still see that I’m the one responsible for this awkward atmosphere in the broadcast. I may wear myself out mentally when engaging in conversations with people, but I overdid the conversation being too focused on the other person. This is a broadcast everyone was looking forward to, so I should be stretching out the talk more, making it engaging and exciting.
“Um, um! The weather today was nice, right?”
“Yeah, uh, yeah, it was.”
End of conversation.
JMcAfreak: Don’t use the weather as a conversation starter, ever!
LickyPocket: Kuroneko-san did try to engage in conversation, at the very least
hokage102364: It’s a small step for mankind, but a big leap for Kuroneko-san
jeremiahvires7864: Mr. Armstrong must be watching too
“All right! Let’s move on to the next one. ‘This is my first Q&A, please forgive me if I sound offensive. Do any of you have someone you admire in the first gen?” There have been quite a few questions about our seniors, huh? But if we say we admire them, won’t they wonder why we didn’t mention any names? Is it okay?”
joao_vitor_16.20_bb: It’s fine
BlackwaterPMC: Don’t worry about it
“Hmm, well, if we’re talking about admiration, I’d say I admire Kirin-senpai. She’s always so energetic and a diligent honor student! Even among the quirky first-gen members, she stands out as a responsible one! I really look up to her.”
Kirin Komemiya.
In a way, she’s the senior who led me into this world. She’s a prominent figure among the first-year students and is often involved in announcements and events, but she’s not the leader, which is a bit of a disadvantage.
Now that I think about it, Yui-san seems to resemble Kirin-senpai in some ways.
“I… I’m interested in Matsuri-senpai.”
“Matsuri-senpai is cool, right? She’s like a cool and popular girl!”
eclipxing: Come to think of it, Matsuri-chan mentioned being interested in Kuroneko
BabyylonTrack: Ah, from the previous broadcast
“What!? I was so nervous during the last broadcast that I couldn’t watch it. That’s too much, nya.”
laurasia0009: They sound all lovey-dovey!
Eli-ix6yt: Don’t use that flirtatious tone
familyrussell2105: Is it a cat fight?
Matsuri Seria: *Stare*
personone1382: Matsuri-chan!?
sugawarasfist7511: She’s here!
“And there you have it, Matsuri-senpai has graced us with her presence!”
“Oh, I forgot to put on the Spanner.”
Matsuri Seria ✓: Let’s collab next time, Kuroneko
“Whaaat!?”
“Senpai!? But this is my broadcast, you know!?”
Matsuri Seria ✓: You should try to do a collab with Kirin
And then Matsuri-senpai said what she wanted and left. I’ve seen this during broadcasts, but she’s completely her own person. As for this collaboration matter, it feels too sudden, and I’m starting to doubt if it’s just lip service.
“Well, let’s regroup and move on to the next one! It’s probably the last question for today. ‘Arutema! (Greetings) I always enjoy your broadcasts. Especially two days ago, Yui-chan’s stream ending in a calm 40 minutes with no mountains or falls was surprisingly entertaining. Now, our second-gen debutants, you guys are shining brightly, but if you were to collaborate next, who would you like to collaborate with? We’ll keep supporting you, so keep up the good work!’ Something like that. Sorry for the uneventful stream! We’ll aim for first place in the next ones!”
memories-of-nobody: The future is hell
gamigatan: That one ended so easily, and it was funny
claraskh: It turned out to be a viewer-participation race, not a durability test
“All right! So, about the next collaboration. Well, there are seven second-gen streamer, so… Remaining options are Lees El Lycelitt, Fure Ri, Nagu Eika, Izayoi Sakuraka, and Blazing Sword God Gaou. Wow, everyone has quite the quirks, huh?”
“Bla-Blazing Sword God..? that name’s amazing…
Hahahahah: Could it be that these two are the normal ones?
Varossgaming: Is Kuroneko a streamer in the normaller side?
Msbeast: At least Yui-chan seems normal, right!?
H30 Delirious: Yui-chan is the voice of reason amongst them two
“Ah, thank you, haha. Yeah, I guess I’m the voice of reason.”
Dry laughter.
“If I had to choose someone for the next collaboration… Well, Lees-san might be the safe- I mean, fun choice.”
karakan: Like Minesweeper
artia119: I see
“As for me, I don’t really… um…”
“Hmm?”
“Uh, well… Toba Otoba-san, maybe?”
Toba-san is the quietest among them.
Whether we get along or not is something that I do not know of, the reason is that it seems like we won’t have to be too considerate of each other.
As we chatted, an hour had passed since the broadcast started. It was about time to end it, and I doubted anyone would complain.
“All right! Well, it’s about time to call it a day.”
“Yeah!”
“Should we extend it for another hour?”
“Sorry, but I refuse.”
Natsunami Yui, with a sigh of relief, made a few announcements and directed the conversation toward me. But, well, there were no announcements to make…
“Oh, um, yeah. So, I think that’s about it. Please subscribe to the channel, turn on notifications, give a thumbs up, and follow us on Twitter! You can find Kuroneko’s channel in the description too, so check it out! Bye-bye!”
“Goodbye-nya.”
