I Was Kicked Out of the Hero Party and the Elves I Raised Are Obsessed With Me

chapter 20

20 . Helga’s Provocation

Ellia occasionally looked back at the street where she parted ways with Ain.

She hoped that if she could, she would be the one next to Ain… She couldn’t help it because she lost a draw set between her sisters while Ain passed out.

I don’t know about anyone else, but disputes between her sisters were not allowed.

Besides, that wasn’t the most important thing for her right now.

Elia asked Stella next to her in a worried tone.

“Doesn’t your father still find out about killing those scumbags?”

Could it be that Ain caught me? It was a common worry that all the sisters had from the moment they dealt with the bandits. Elia’s complexion was darker than usual from worry.

Stella opened her mouth, gently wrapping her shoulders as if telling Elia not to worry.

“Yes, the post-processing is perfect. Elia, you don’t have to worry about that. Got it?”

Rihanna clicked her tongue briefly as if dumbfounded by the warm attitude she never showed to herself.

Even if they aren’t blood related, are they sisters?

It is safe to say that they care deeply about their family, and their attitude towards others is completely different.

The incident that had happened a few hours ago was still clearly etched in my head.

Without a single drop of dirty bandit blood on their bodies, the elves returned to the wagon and told the coachman to shut up, then told them to leave immediately, in a tone close to an order.

They had no intention of disposing of the bandit’s corpse in the first place. How could an elf directly touch the corpse of a lowly, short-lived species?

Ain passed out anyway, and the truth would disappear into the other side of time once the wagon started and left the place.

They will be tied to the festival of Ansis for at least three days, and Ain will not go out alone leaving them alone.

Rihanna shuddered as she escaped the scene of a horrific massacre.

Sending deep condolences to someone in the future who will clean up the dismembered bodies of the bandits….

After walking for a while, Stella slowly got to the point.

In the middle of a street lined with shops, I implied a question to Rihanna.

“Where can I find that woman?”

“Looking at the picture, you seem to like alcohol?”

Clearly, Helga liked to drink.

Rihanna had never seen her sober.

When a similar festival is held, Helga always sits in her village tavern.

Sometimes when Rihanna sees Helga like that, she has negative thoughts such as ‘Isn’t she drinking like that and then going after it?’

So, to find Helga, it would be the most reasonable way to go around her bar.

Rihanna asked, pointing to the raucous pub right in front of her.

“Then, how about over there?”

Elia looked at Rihanna with her questioning eyes.

“If you go into any bar, I don’t think he will come out….”

“You have to do it to know.”

Rihanna opened the door of her bar with her children on her back. Originally, the entry of minors was prohibited, but who the hell would consider these elves as minors?

However, the bar was already full, so there were no seats.

At the tavern, dwarves and other middle-aged men were chatting happily and drinking, and there was no room for three women to sit in. You’d be lucky if you didn’t get s*xually harassed.

Seeing the elves sighing heavily, Rihanna stepped back in embarrassment.

“Let’s go out. This includes….”

That was the moment.

“Rihanna?”

Slightly husky voice.

Someone called out Rihanna’s name as she was about to head out in a long, gentle tone and stopped her.

Rihanna’s steps stopped at the familiar voice, and her trembling head slowly turned back.

Upon checking her face, her questioning voice soon became convinced.

“Are you Hannah!? What are you doing here?”

The woman who called her by her nickname and spoke to her in a friendly manner showed that at a glance, she was taller than Rihanna by one head.

Dull blonde hair with a bit of black and brown eyes. Despite the scar across her left eye, she was a beautiful woman who gave off a sad feeling because of her distinct features.

Moreover, her leather clothes, especially around her upper body, were on the verge of bursting with her aggressively raised breasts.

Her abdomen was exposed coolly, and men drinking alcohol would occasionally look at her thighs and buttocks wearing a short skirt with a sullen gaze.

Rihanna muttered one of her names in disbelief that I had met her at her first store.

“Hey… go?”

Her name, Helga, came out of Rihanna’s mouth, and her elves simultaneously turned their heads to look at her.

The Helga her elves longed to meet, she was smiling her single single smile with a red stain on her face.

“Is this the first time since you left the party on your own? Well, at the point of failure to subdue the demon lord, you don’t have to belong to the party, but you’re a little sad?”

Helga wraps her arm around Rihanna friendly, flips the glass in her hand before she opens her mouth again.

“By the way, it seems like it hasn’t been a few days since we broke up, does it feel like we haven’t seen each other in a long time? It seems that the atmosphere has changed a little?”

Rihanna nodded her head with a look as if she had chewed some sh*t, then lightly covered her nose with her thumb and forefinger because of the smell of alcohol wafting from Helga’s body.

Helga didn’t seem offended by Rihanna’s blatantly covering her nose right in front of her, she suggested as she moved her steps in the direction she came from.

“Ah, I’m not going to stay like this. Would you like to sit down and eat? I will live You won’t have any money anyway.”

“I, I have money too!”

To be precise, it was the pocket money Ain gave me.

Rihanna noticed her sincerity mixed in with her subtle hints, and she furrowed her eyebrows as if to appeal that she was in a bad mood.

Helga stared at Rihanna’s face, then she moved her gaze back and asked her question.

“Are the elves behind you your friends?”

Rihanna held her breath at her unexpected question.

Can I really call them friends? A lowly, short-lived species, a lowly human species… It was the name they called humans excluding demi-humans.

Wouldn’t it be something that we call friends for nothing and get caught later?

However, you can leave what will happen later to your future self. Right now, it’s important to look as natural as possible.

The elves will surely understand this much.

“Yes, he is my friend.”

Her eyes narrowed like crescent moons, and Helga’s eyes, which had been laughing lightly, flashed like a beast for a moment.

“… Okay?”

For a moment, Helga raised her glass and showed off her friendly demeanor.

“If you are Hannah’s friend, you are no different from my friend. Would you like to have a drink too?”

Stella pushed the glass with her hand and refused Helga’s favor, speaking briefly in her most emotionless voice.

“All right. I don’t really like alcohol.”

Elia didn’t even answer, but crossed her arms and looked away.

Helga collected her glass with a shy smile, as if she hadn’t expected it.

“It looks like I did something to make you hate me?”

After being separated from the elves, Helga spoke to the easy-going Rihanna again.

“Rihanna, I guess not today because your friends don’t like me. Anyway, I’m still at this store, so if you want to talk again, come visit me.”

Rihanna nodded her head instead of answering her. Helga, who smiled contentedly, erased the smile from her face as if taking off her mask, and looked at her elves.

“Oh, and you guys.”

Stella answered briefly, still cold.

“Me?”

Since she had a lot of eyes around her, she pretended to be innocent and not hostile to humans as usual, but she laughed as if Helga was funny.

It was an obvious mockery.

Stella’s eyes widened as Helga brought her index finger to her own lips, she said.

“Don’t be so vicious. Are you annoying to the people around you? It’s a long-awaited festival, so enjoy it calmly. I don’t like hunting elves either.”

With that said, Helga waved her hand and disappeared through the crowd, not even looking at them once.

This was unexpected. A lowly human provocation. Stella’s face flushed, and her breathing became rough.

She barely opened her mouth, showing Rihanna’s restless attitude towards the two elves who seemed to be in trouble at any moment.

“Gee, calm down! If you do nonsense here, Ain will find out. Are you okay though?”

Out of embarrassment, some harsh words came out, but they were able to forget all the insulting remarks in front of Ain’s name. Stella seemed to have barely calmed down by placing her hand on her plump chest and taking a deep breath.

Elia argued with Rihanna, still grimacing and looking like she had lost her temper.

“What the hell is that guy!? I’m not as good as Noah or Olivia, but I’m hiding it….”

No matter how rowdy a bar is, a conversation like this will draw attention.

Rihanna took the elves out of the store before she got any more rowdy.

Rihanna slowly parted her lips after going near a less-trafficed alleyway.

“Helga is different from us, like me or Ain.”

“What is different?”

Even excluding the cruelty, the ability of the elves who have been watching from the sidelines was an area that ordinary humans could never reach. Perhaps compared to the famous warriors of the day, he would not bow down at all.

However, the other three party members, including Helga, were not ordinary human beings without talent who started from the bottom like Ain and Rihanna.

Each human being was born with a special ability to drive away darkness from this continent. That was the position of the former warrior party.

After hearing Rihanna’s explanation, the two elves had a hunch.

Unlike the naive beggar in front of you, the rest of the humans will be a pretty annoying fight.
