chapter 26
26 . Helga, the beginning of pain (3) *
To be honest, it was disgusting.
When he traveled with her to the castle of the Demon King, he had admired her more than anyone else, who had her free light.
Showing aloofness from the world and raising the mood of the party with a light smile, she was my idol and a trustworthy colleague to follow.
Such a woman bets her own body lightly like her whore.
Her breath was choked, her stomach queasy. I looked down at her with her disgusted gaze as if I were looking at her bugs.
“Are you crazy? Want to sleep with you?”
With her fishy smile pervasive across her face, Helga revealed an even more shocking truth.
“Why? No matter how you think about it, isn’t it a good condition? It’s a bit hard to say this with my own mouth, but you’re a pretty usable body, aren’t you? Her breasts are big, her waist is small, her hips are big, and her tightness isn’t bad. The men in this village also complimented each other on the bed, right?”
The vulgar words that I thought could never come out of Helga’s mouth began to flow. Putting aside her flaunting of her body, the way she casually said that she had slept with other men was not the Helga I knew.

Four years ago, on the day of her betrayal, I thought that the illusion of her that I had in her was completely shattered, but at least it felt like the large pieces of her that were left of her were scattered into small dust and disappeared.
Now there was no need to keep the minimum courtesy.
What is in front of me now is not the archer with 100 feet to subdue the demon lord in pursuit of honor and glory from the past. It was a shabby prostitute who revealed her own ugly bare face.
There was no way that a woman like this was thinking properly about me.
I spoke to her in a much colder voice than before.
“Why should I sleep with you? I have no intention of rolling with Leon whenever I’m bored, or even riding on the filthy body that was lying on the bed with the villagers. Aren’t you mistaken that your body has great value? Obviously you were an attractive woman, but you on the bed, well… Is there any reason not to?”
Yes, this is the correct answer.
Helga opened her eyes wide and looked at me.
The look on his face was that he never imagined that such harsh words would come out of my mouth.
Helga’s lips parted slightly.
However, the words that came out of her mouth were the dignified tone of a person who did not understand her own situation.
Helga sighed and let out her sarcastic remarks.
“When we were at parties, the guy who couldn’t say a single harsh word and followed us around had grown up quite a bit, right? If I had known it would be like this, I would have had to trample on my pride even more then.”
“This is all thanks to you guys.”
After spitting out self-deprecating words, I put my hand back on the doorknob and said it again.
“Isn’t it wrong to think about receiving respect from the moment you abandoned me in the first place?”
The nightmare of that day comes to mind.
The memory of the day I was kicked out of the castle right in front of me.
I clenched my teeth, suppressed my anger in a voice that trembled uncontrollably, and finally opened my mouth.
“Why didn’t you at least send me a weapon, a rusty knife? From your point of view, I may look like I’m alive and well, but that day I managed to get to the village after overcoming many obstacles. The remnants of the monsters attacked, and they rolled their bodies in the dirty dung to hide the human smell, barely surviving. I shortened it to this level because I didn’t want to talk at length to a trash like you. Do you understand now? You drove me to limb, and with a triumphant appearance you stepped forward to pursue honor. Well, the results were messed up. How do you think there is no reason to hear harsh words from me?”
Helga did not answer my long words.
He was muttering something like a madman, but it didn’t reach my ears.
In the end, she wasn’t very interested in my situation.
Thinking that what she was saying just now was the nonsense of a deranged person, the words of an alcoholic, I didn’t bother to listen to Helga’s words and headed to my room.
As soon as I opened the door and entered, three gazes were directed at me at the same time.
And the three children spoke the same words at the same time, as if they had guessed the words in advance.
“Dad, are you okay?”
It seems that the story of the fight with Helga has reached here. Thinking of the children who would have been surprised by my shouting, which usually doesn’t get angry, made one side of my heart ache.
I smiled lightly as if it was okay and stroked their hair, and the children came straight into my arms.
But something was strange.
Olivia, who normally wouldn’t be the first to fall into her arms, was sitting on her sofa, lost in thought.
I asked her with her worried expression.
“Olivia? Are you not feeling well anywhere?”
Olivia was startled as her shoulders shook, and she lay down on her bed with a puzzled look on her face.
“Huh!? Oh no! I’m okay. Sleep first.”
Olivia didn’t even give me a chance to say anything, pulled the blanket over her head and quickly went to bed.
Tired of talking to Helga, I lay down on the couch and tried to sleep, but Stella grabbed my wrist and opened her mouth cautiously, blushing.
“Dad, sleep with me tonight. Are you fine? I’m afraid I won’t be able to sleep unless my dad hugs me because I’m startled by the noise I hear from the next room….”
It would be a lie if I said I wasn’t ashamed to sleep with my reddened face and grown-up daughter in my arms, but if I didn’t soothe the frightened Stella….
I finally laid down on her bed as Stella led her and held her in her arms.
Everywhere I touched, I felt like I would inadvertently have a bad thought to touch her soft female body, her buttocks or breasts.
Stella whispered softly as she rubbed her face against my chest.
“Daddy’s arms are warm….”
With those words, I was finally able to regain my senses.
I can’t help but feel lust for the daughter I’ve raised with my own hands, so I went to bed feeling Stella’s warmth spreading over her chest.
●
After the commotion, Rihanna cautiously entered Helga’s room.
“Hey, have you calmed down a bit?”
Seeing Rihanna, Helga opened her mouth in a calmer tone than before.
“Rihanna, sit there for a second.”
Rihanna sat down in her chair where her son had sat, and she stared into Helga’s face.
“If I’m going to live like this, I’d rather die. But you don’t want me to die, do you? So, can’t you look at the old relationship and release it? I will give you all the treasures I have.”
I spoke in the calmest tone possible, but Helga was already at her limit. Nightmares that her drunkenness barely made her forget were overtaking her moment by moment.
Rihanna said in a cold voice as she rose from her chair and sat down on her bed.
“Hey, what bullsh*t is this? Dying from just this much pain? Do you hate dying can’t you let me go Have you ever been this young? I was expecting a bit to be different from other humans just because I was a hero, but I’m really disappointed.”
The reaction is strange.
If it were Rihanna, she would have accepted her offer with her eyes shining when she said that she gives treasures.
Besides, a hero? Are you different from other humans? Those words shouldn’t have come out of Rihanna’s mouth, once a member of the party.
Helga’s eyebrows twitched, and a puzzled tone escaped her lips.
“Who are you?”
Rihanna’s face melted away as soon as she finished her words, and Olivia appeared in its place.
“You still have to suffer more.”
Helga let go of her cynicism.
“Oh, you even use polymorph? Is that something I can’t even notice? Seeing you here, you must have used the same magic on Rihanna. What is this, not an elf, but a dragon level?”
Olivia’s expression was colder than ever, even though she tried to alleviate the atmosphere that had become heavy with her jokes.
“We can barely hold it in when Dad wakes up… Seducing my dad in that dirty way? Yes?”
It is incomparable to yesterday when we had a brief quarrel.
Can’t you see the hideous aura behind you? An overwhelming sense of death drifted in her golden eyes.
Does the fact that you briefly seduce Ain anger them more than insulting them?
“I need to properly inform you of your situation.”
After Olivia finished, Helga closed her eyes and began to laugh, somehow moving her bound body.
“Kuh, kuh….”
“What is so funny? Or did you go crazy?”
“Do you think Ain, who was once a member of the party, would allow something like this? She thought she was just, but she must have gotten the wrong person. She shouldn’t be educating her children this way. Do you think it’s fair to tie me up like this and assault me when the only thing I’ve done wrong is neglect? This is no different than a villain.”
Olivia bit her lip. She bit so hard that you could clearly see her jaw shifting.
“A member of the party? How dare those words come out of your mouth? Do you think it’s right to define good or evil while talking about the party where you threw away your dad like an asshole in the forest where demons are in danger of attacking the castle? Just know this. To us, Dad is an absolute good, and you are a mortal evil.”
Olivia raised her fist high, and before Helga could say a word to her, he thrust it down into her face.
Puck!
Kwajik!
It was different from Ain’s accidental assault.
In Olivia’s strike, which precisely targets the vital parts of a human being, such as her eyes, philtrum, forehead, etc., Her child’s hitting sounds so violent that it seems like cuteness.
It is hard to believe that destructive power came from her slender arms.
It wasn’t enough to shatter the bones of her skull with a single blow like Stella’s, but Helga’s face gradually crumpled, her expression colored with pain.
Her lips, which had burst and swollen in that moment, still sounded like they were laughing at them.
“Hey, now I think I know why your parents abandoned you. They were born wicked from birth, and they were badly rehabilitated, but even the elves couldn’t handle it. Am i wrong? Well, unless you are an idiot who sacrifices himself as if he would give you everything if you give him affection once, like Ain, is there an idiot to raise you guys?”
Olivia’s body trembled.
Helga’s words definitely touched Olivia’s spirit. However, in a very not good way.
“… Words of abandonment, words of insult to Dad… Don’t do it again with that filthy mouth!
Olivia, trembling, opened her eyes ferociously and sharpened her fingers.
She didn’t have her Stella or Noah to stop her now.
To Olivia and Elia, two people who are particularly sensitive to the word that she was abandoned, that word was taboo.
Besides, they insult Ain, who can be said to be everything in their lives? It was like begging to be killed.
Without knowing that fact, Helga dug her own grave.
Placing her finger precisely into one of Helga’s eyes, Olivia crushed one of her eyeballs and began digging inside.
“… Queue!”
Humans can’t even let out a worthless scream when they’re in extreme pain, and Helga barely let out a sound that took her breath away.
Olivia started screaming at her with her maddened eyes thrusting into Helga’s brain.
“We are not abandoned. We have a dad… Dad took us, raised us, gave us happiness, but who the hell abandoned us? Huh? Say something! And my dad is an asshole? You are the sick…. You guys who abandoned that good dad and tried to take it away from us are trash!”
I couldn’t see reason in his bloodshot eyes. Olivia looked down at Helga and poked her in one eye with her stretched fingers, and if that wasn’t enough, she raised her fist again and started smashing her in the face.
Her dull thump rang out, and when her fist finally touched her mouth, all of her Helga’s teeth shattered, leaving only her hideous gums exposed.
“Ouch… !”

Finally stopping her assault on Helga, Olivia managed to catch her breath and regain her sanity.
She got out of bed and looked at Helga, who was halfway to her corpse, and she smiled pleasantly. The pain her child suffered would be worse than this, but she was content to be able to give back even a little bit.
The sight of her blood flowing from one eye and from her mouth looked miserable.
But only like this will I be sure that Ain, who will come to visit me tomorrow, will find out.
Helga took her words off little by little with her mouth, which she couldn’t quite pronounce.
“How are you going to handle the aftermath? Will the day come when Ain will finally find out who you are?”
Said Olivia, pulling one of her vials from her bosom as if mocking her.
“Do you think we will move without a plan?”
He uncapped the vial he had taken from her bosom and poured it into her face.
Smoke billowed from Helga’s face with the sound of her meat burning.
Just as Helga was about to scream at her in pain as her flesh burned, Olivia roughly covered her mouth.
“All wounds will heal, including the eyes. It’s not that I like you and make you better. I know that until we leave this town, you can’t die without our permission, and you’ll continue to suffer like today. Do you have 4 days left? Hold on well in the meantime. Stella will come tomorrow, so it’ll be all right. Oh, by the way, Elia is crueler than me, so it’s better not to provoke her by saying that she was abandoned like today.”
Her mouth was bleeding and Helga couldn’t say a word. Olivia said coldly, holding her doorknob.
“By the way, you have no intention of forgiving like our doggie. Because the miserable end of the four years will be the only atonement for Dad.”
Olivia left, and Helga, left alone in her silent room, wept.
Regrets, regrets that I have never experienced in my life came flooding back.
Don’t abandon Ain that day, it’s not such a trivial regret.
Anyway, I never put much meaning into the party. Throwing away one of her porters was no business for her.
Her regret, which she truly felt, belonged to a more fundamental problem.
It was a visceral regret for what had provoked an existence that threatened her own foundation.
