Chapter 6 - It’s Because of You, Bitch!
She had always been terrible at expressing her emotions.
For her, anger was second nature. It was considered entirely normal for her to explode over the most trivial matters, to lash out without a second thought.
But liking someone? That emotion was foreign to her. Awkward. Unfamiliar.
When it came to expressing affection, her attempts were clumsy, childish, and misguided.
And now…
Those shortcomings had led to the worst possible outcome, the very ending she never wanted.
The one man in the world who had put up with her anger, tolerated her tantrums, and accepted her for who she was…
Had finally reached his limit.
He was gone.
The realization that Lee Jinhyun, the man who had endured her for so long, had finally left her side for good, hit her like a crushing wave of pain.
It was unbearable.
So much so that she wanted to make excuses.
So much so that she desperately wanted to shift the blame onto someone else.

“Uhhh…”
Seo Jiyoon arrived at the bus stop, panting for breath.
But the moment her eyes landed on Na Jiseon sitting on the ground, staring blankly into space, she realized she was too late.
She scanned the area instinctively, hoping to catch even a glimpse of him, but it was obvious.
Lee Jinhyun was gone.
Her heart sank as the realization hit her.
‘That guy… He really left. He’s really gone. Lee Jinhyunn, that man, left our 28th guild?’
Seo Jiyoon clenched her fists tightly. She knew the truth of how this had unfolded all too well.
This was all because of Guild Master Isena. She had been the one to make the decision, with Yujin enthusiastically supporting her. Those two had started this mess, pulling the trigger without a second thought.
But in the end, it wasn’t just them.
Lee Jinhyun had been the one to accept it.
If he had resisted, if he had refused to go, the situation might have turned out differently.
Even if Isena, in her position as guild master, insisted on his discharge, Jinhyunn could have fought back. He could have appealed to the higher-ups, laid bare the injustices he faced, and rallied support from the other hunters who also knew just how dysfunctional the 28th Guild was.
And Jiyoon would have been one of them.
She would have supported him.
But instead…
He didn’t fight. He didn’t use his rights or stand up for himself.
No, as if he had been waiting for this opportunity, he packed his belongings and walked away the very next day.
To Jiyoon, this outcome was unthinkable.
It wasn’t just a shock, it was infuriating.
‘No matter how bad things were… you really accepted it? You seriously just left like that? Did you throw away the chance to stay here, surrounded by beautiful women, earning a steady 5 million won a month, just to become unemployed?’
She couldn’t make sense of it.
Sure, his treatment in the guild hadn’t always been fair, but still… this? To leave everything behind so easily, without even a fight? It was ridiculous.
What made it worse was that Jiyoon had gone out of her way to treat him “decently”, or at least, that’s how she saw it.
She had even allowed him to touch her body under the guise of giving her massages. While he was nothing special to her, just a plain, ordinary-looking guy, she had tolerated it as a small indulgence.
She had stepped in to protect him on multiple occasions, stopping Na Jiseon from escalating her violent outbursts to something truly dangerous.
And while she didn’t see him as a romantic interest, Jiyoon knew he was competent. More than that, she knew he was a crucial part of the guild’s operations.
That was why she had patronized him, offering him what she considered “kindness.”
But now?
This ungrateful bastard had just left without a second thought. No hesitation, no regrets, and not a single word of thanks for everything she’d done.
‘This guy… this guy who doesn’t even know how to be grateful… You stabbed me in the back like this? Fine. Let’s see how you survive out there without us. Let’s see how far you get on your own, you selfish bastard.’
Grinding her teeth in anger, Jiyoon’s eyes shifted back to Jiseon, who was still sitting on the ground.
Jiseon’s face was pale, her eyes swollen and bloodshot, evidence of having cried recklessly just moments before. She looked completely dazed, as if her soul had left her body.
But watching her, Jiyoon didn’t feel a shred of sympathy.
No, from Jiyoon’s perspective, Jiseon wasn’t a victim.
She was one of the culprits.
She was one of the two who had caused this mess in the first place.
Scoffing, Jiyoon walked closer, glaring down at her.
“What are you crying about? You did this. Won’t you wake up already?”
“….”
Seo Jiyoon let out a scream of pure frustration.
At her outburst, Jiseon, who had been sitting like a lifeless corpse just moments ago, suddenly snapped out of her daze. Her face twisted into something unrecognizable, a mixture of rage and raw emotion.
She turned sharply to Jiyoon, glaring at her with boiling anger.
“It’s because of you…” Jiseon growled, her voice trembling with fury.
“…What?” Jiyoon responded, her brows furrowing in confusion.
“It’s because of you, bitch!” Jiseon screamed. “Your bullying! Your constant jabs! You’re the reason Jinhyeon oppa left! If it weren’t for you tormenting him for four years, he wouldn’t have gone away so coldly!”
Jiyoon blinked, momentarily stunned, but only for a moment. Her anger rose to meet Jiseon’s, her lips curling into a sharp sneer.
“What kind of crazy bullshit are you spouting right now?” Jiyoon shot back. “If anything, that’s exactly what I want to say to you! Do you think the adjutant would have left if you hadn’t been trying to kill him every other day? At least with me around, he had someone looking out for him! You scared him off with your psycho tantrums, you lunatic!”
“Shut up!” Jiseon shrieked. “I… I liked Jinhyeon oppa so much! You don’t even know how hard I tried to impress him!”
“Oh, right,” Jiyoon snapped sarcastically. “Because nothing says I like you like trying to stab a guy in the face every other week. Have you never heard of a situation where someone’s dog-like behavior ruins their chances? You bitch!”
“SHUT UP! YOU CRAZY SLUT!” Jiseon screamed, her voice breaking. “My oppa left because of YOU! Go bring him back right now! Kneel in front of him, beg him, do something! I don’t care what it takes, just BRING HIM BACK!”
“HA!” Jiyoon laughed bitterly. “Why don’t you do it yourself, you psycho slut? You’re the only bitch in the world who gets horny over a guy like him anyway!”
“DON’T YOU DARE INSULT MY OPPA, YOU BITCH!”
With that final scream, the two women exploded, lunging at each other like feral animals.
The fight that followed was vicious.
Both women attacked each other with the full force of their S-class abilities, their blows powerful enough to flatten entire buildings. They fought with a genuine intent to kill, their rage fueling every strike.
The bus stop became a war zone, the ground cracking under the sheer force of their battle. The air crackled with energy as their superhuman powers clashed, devastating the area.
By the time the fight had reached its peak, the bus stop was no longer recognizable. What was once a quiet waiting area had been reduced to rubble.
With those words, Jiseon and Jiyoon lunged at each other, fully prepared to kill.
Their powers, the pinnacle of what defined S-class hunters, erupted without restraint. Fists collided, shockwaves reverberated, and their superhuman strength tore through the bus stop like a storm.
Neither of them held back.
It was a vicious fight fueled by raw emotions, rage, resentment, guilt, and denial- all exploding uncontrollably.
By the time Yujin and Isena arrived, the bus stop had been completely devastated. Broken shards of concrete, warped metal benches, and shattered glass littered the ground, the scene looking more like a battlefield than a public space.
“What the hell are you two doing outside the unit?!” Yujin roared, her voice booming with authority. “Can’t you calm the fuck down? Do you realize civilians were almost caught up in this mess? Do you really want to be thrown into a brothel for punishment?!”
She grabbed Jiseon, pinning her arms behind her back with effortless strength, as Jiseon thrashed and screamed.
“This… let me go, you son of a bitch! That bitch she’s dead today!” Jiseon spat, her voice hoarse with fury. But no matter how hard she struggled, it was impossible to break free from Yujin’s iron grip.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the ruined bus stop, Isena had restrained Jiyoon, who was visibly trembling with anger but no longer trying to fight.
Isena looked between the two women, her irritation barely masked as she shouted, “I specifically told you two to keep yourselves in check! Do you have any idea how much trouble this could bring us? Do you even have a shred of self-respect?!”
Her voice rose with frustration as she continued, “The new adjutant hasn’t even arrived yet! Who the hell is supposed to clean up this mess? Do you think you’re making things easier for anyone right now?!”
Jiyoon, who had been quietly glaring at the ground until now, suddenly raised her head. Her voice, cold and cutting, interrupted Isena mid-rant.
“…Actually, if you think about it… this is all your fault.”
Isena froze, taken aback by the venom in Jiyoon’s tone.
“…What did you just say?” she asked, her voice faltering slightly.
Jiyoon’s icy gaze locked onto Isena, and unlike Jiseon’s wild, chaotic rage, her anger was calm, deadly calm.
“This mess, all of this,” Jiyoon said, her words sharp and deliberate, “is because of you. You’re the reason things turned out this way. You can’t understand people. You can’t see what’s right in front of you. If you hadn’t discharged the adjutant like that, none of this would’ve happened.”
“…Haa,” Isena scoffed, trying to mask her unease. “I was wondering what you were getting at. This is about the adjutant? Don’t be ridiculous. He was just a useless parasite. You know that better than anyone! What has he ever done to help us? He-!”
Isena’s words were cut off by a sharp shove.
Jiyoon pushed her back with a strength that caught Isena completely off guard.
Though Isena was a powerful S-class hunter, her body staggered as Jiyoon’s unexpected burst of anger threw her off balance. The force behind Jiyoon’s push wasn’t just physical, it carried the weight of her simmering resentment.
Jiyoon stood up straight, her eyes burning with an unspoken fury.
For a moment, Isena stared at her in disbelief. She instinctively kept her guard up, sensing the unusual, hostile energy radiating from Jiyoon.
But Jiyoon didn’t attack. She didn’t lash out physically again.
Instead, she glared at Isena with cold detachment, her voice devoid of any warmth.
“…You think so? That he was useless? That nothing he did mattered? You say that so casually… without a single thought about what might happen now.”
Isena frowned, an ominous feeling creeping into her chest.
“…What does that mean?” she asked cautiously, her voice quieting.
Jiyoon didn’t answer her.
Instead, she turned her back on Isena and began walking away, her steps purposeful and steady as she headed toward the unit.
As she walked, she left Isena with one final, chilling remark:
“You’ll find out soon enough… just how much he was holding together for you bitches.”
