I'm Not Interested in Devil Fruits

Chapter 190: INIIDF-Chapter 187 National Treasure

Our country has such a secret…

All the Kuja women stared at Snake Princess on the stage as they saw her gesture to the girl named Jolyne beside her. Could it be?!

The citizens of Kuja, members of the pirate crew, and the warriors defending the nation all looked toward the girl pirate, who also appeared quite stunned.

Hancock, standing next to Robin, was dumbfounded. She hadn't expected that in this country, there could be someone even more special than herself!

Suddenly, a petal floated right in front of Cosmos.

"Eh?" She snapped back to reality, noticing that on her own arm, as well as on the arms of Sander Sonia and Marigold beside her, and on the arms of other women around them, even within the entire arena, beautiful light pink petals were blooming. In an instant, these swirling petals formed a delicate arm.

"What is this…?"

"Flowers? They turned into arms!"

"Wow, so many arms…"

Hancock's arm sprouted flower-like arms as well. She recognized this as Jolyne's Devil Fruit ability… Then she heard Snake Princess's voice echoing above her: "The exception refers to the person who finds the 'national treasure.'"

Arms disassembled, scattering into a flurry of petals, swirling and dancing throughout the arena…

"This is the Flower-Flower Fruit (Hana Hana No Mi) that Kuujou Jolyne possesses…"

Snake Princess looked up at the scene.

...

The Kuja women gathered in the arena quickly dispersed. Robin was taken to the palace by Snake Princess, and Hancock followed suit.

Liam, with his injured arms, was surrounded by a throng of Kuja warrior women, each eager to tend to his wounds.

Amid the chaotic flurry of flowers, dozens of fragrant scents brushed against his face, body, arms, neck, and legs… Liam let them fuss over him, slightly furrowing his brows, gently calling, "Ahei."

...

As night fell, Kuja Island was unusually lively today.

Countless women, filled with curiosity and excitement, even academic research purposes, flocked to the same location.

Inside the brightly lit great hall, a long table was filled with a sumptuous array of food.

Giant crabs, steamed to a vibrant red, revealed their fragrant flesh with a simple flip of their shells, releasing rich crab roe that flowed down… Succulent clusters of milky crab meat looked delightful, oozing with juices…

Half-man-sized lobsters and basin-sized baked scallops…

Various fried and cooked meats, some of which even Liam, who had spent over a year eating in the wilds of Kujaisland, had never seen…

Not to mention the delicacies from Amazon Lily Island, such as the Zola cheese Sea King noodle dish…

"It's really delicious!"

Liam's arms were wrapped in bandages, adorned with numerous butterfly knots.

Over the course of one evening, the bandages and casts on his arms had been touched by countless women's hands, each drawing various patterns and designs…

Liam sat at the dining table, the pitch-black armor that couldn't be seen by the naked eye constantly bringing dish after dish of food to his mouth.

"So this is how men eat!" Exclaimed the gathered women, chattering excitedly, "He can eat without using his hands, how impressive…"

"His stomach is so big! It seems even bigger than when Snake Princess was around…"

"Ah? Is he going to have a daughter too? So impressive…"

A plethora of colorful women tugged at Liam's face, one reaching out to touch his chest, while another, still filled with curiosity, stretched her delicate, flower-like hand toward him…

Liam didn't move; B.I.B. freed a hand to grasp the woman's wrist.

Despite his mouth being full of food, Liam managed to make space to speak, saying earnestly, "That's enough, big sister. We need to be harmonious…"

The women laughed continuously. In this way, many enchanting females filled the hall with laughter, drinking, eating, and admiring the man, reveling in their joy!

Some even began to make a business out of letting others touch Liam for 20 snake hair coins… The queue extended outside the hall, in the thick night, resembling a long snake, with no end in sight…

Liam smiled but didn't mind much.

As the merriment continued, the night gradually deepened...

A sudden commotion came from the entrance. The women in line instinctively parted to make way for—an annoyed Hancock and a somewhat silent Robin.

The laughter and chatter inside came to a halt as the Kuja women cheerfully waved at Robin, exclaiming, "Princess~!!"

Hancock muttered, "Why didn't you let me hear? You liar, I clearly saw that stone…"

"She said you're still young," Robin replied, looking at her. "You'll learn what you need to know in the future."

Hancock put her fists on her hips, glaring at her, "I'm a year older than you!"

"Nee San!!"

In the winding line, green-haired Sandersonia and orange-haired Marigold leaned out from either side, spotting Hancock under the entrance lights. Ignoring Cosmos in front of them, they dashed toward her.

"Wow~~ Nee San, you scared me to death today!!" The youngest sister leaped onto Hancock, bursting into tears.

"...I'm fine," Hancock said dismissively, pushing her away. She looked at her two younger sisters, tearfully glancing at the line in the night, then at the brightly lit room, spotting Liam among the crowd of women. She asked, alarmed, "What are you all doing?"

Robin shrugged helplessly and walked straight into the room.

The enthusiastic Kuja women, exchanging "Princess" and "Your Highness," radiated warmth and respect, which made Robin feel quite uncomfortable. With her head down, she made her way through the parting sea of women until she found Liam.

Liam, with a bone still in his mouth, raised an eyebrow at Robin and laughed, "Princess Your Highness?"

Robin's cheeks flushed as she glared at him.

Liam smiled before he stood up and suddenly pointed at the ceiling, saying, "Look! There's a man!"

All the women in the room turned to look. But there was nothing on the ceiling? When they turned back, Liam and Robin had vanished.

At the entrance, the women in line were greatly disappointed. "Where did they run off to?!"

"Seriously!" Hancock was also displeased. "Is he really that popular? He's just a man; what's so special about him…"

Her two younger sisters beside her exchanged glances, covering their mouths and giggling. It seemed this was the first time their Nee San had lost in popularity to someone else…

...

Under the crescent moon, on the towering walls of Kuja, Liam stood still in his pitch-black armor, seemingly merging with the night.

Liam and Robin sat side by side, speaking softly.

"The national treasure…" Liam weighed B.I.B.'s mask in his hands and sighed lightly, "I didn't expect it to be the Flower-Flower Fruit!"
