"That was much stronger than I expected and it only used up five mana," Deus said examining the tree

[Correct. But if you want it to be effective against enemies I suggest you put more power into it]

"Okay, but for now can you lead me to Konoha, I would like to get at least halfway there before the sun sets," 

[Very well host please just follow my directions. As we go I will teach you the most basic things to do with mana, like climbing trees, walking over water, and enhancing your body]

"Wait isn't that the same stuff people do with chakra? then why call this energy mana?" Deus asked

[Because the energy within is not chakra. It's much stronger and more potent than chakra]

" I see... Is it like those novels when mana works based off my imagination

With all his starting steps done Deus grabbed the pieces of his shell and placed them all in his inventory. With that done he stood up and began making his way towards Konoha.

"Alright Pixel. Since we have time what is first,"

[For now, you will practice transforming your body. Start small and try turning your fingernails into claws]

"Seems simple enough," Deus replied

As he walked, he held his hand out before him and focused on his fingers. Staring at them, he thought of the fingernails slowly growing and sharpening into dense claws.

Like in his mind, his nails began to change and sharpen. They became dark sharp claws that were a little under two inches long from the base of his fingernail.

To test them out he clawed at a nearby tree. With high speeds, his claws dug through the three leaving deep claw marks.

"Well, would you look at that, very nice," Deus said with a grin

[Now try coating them in that lightning of yours]

With a nod, Deus began moving the chakra within his body. Unlike others who need hand signs to move their chakra, Deus could control it like it was an extension of his body. 

Once each finger was coated in chakra he activated lighting control and the chakra turned into lightning that coated his hands

[Lightning Control has increased]

"This is much easier than I expected," Deus said waving his hand around

[Well that is my purpose to help you get stronger than any creature in this world]

"Well, thanks Pixel. Let's keep going I want to test out more skills," Deus said with a grin as he made his way to Konoha

"Lord Hokakge," spoke a ninja walking into the Hokage office

"Ah, is something the matter?" the third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi asked

"Yes, a barrage of lighting shots was spotted 40 km away. It said that the skies were clear and that the lighting originated from the ground!" the ninja explained panicked

"I see. Have Ninja be dispatched to investigate?"

"Yes, Minato squad was in the area and has been dispatched,"

"Good, if that is all you may go," Sarutobi replied

"Yes, Lord Third," the ninja replied before walking away

"...Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Sarutobi asked himself looking out his window into the forest

...

[That's good Deus. You are adapting well to your abilities] Pixel praised

"Yeah, this lightning control is really incredible," Deus said creating an arrow from lightning

[Lightning Control has increased]

With a flick of his hand, he released the arrow and watched as it shot through three trees before stopping.

[Host I would recommend saving your mana you only have 500 left after all your experimenting]

"yeah yeah, I guess I should," Deus replied

Sitting down against a nearby tree Virgil closed his eyes and began trying to restore his chakra. As he absorbed the chakar around him he began planning out his next steps.

"Pixel tell, everything about this current world. I need to know what I'm dealing with,"

[Very well. Currently, Minato is still with his team except Obito. Tusnade and Jiraya have left the village. Orochimaru is still in the village with his team with Anko. Donzons location and plans are currently unknown. Itachi is currently three years old. The Akastki only consist of Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan]

"Okay. Not what I was hoping for but I can work with this," Deus sighed 

After spending a few more minutes absorbing mana Deus stood up and continued making his way to Konoha.

"Why are we going to investigate this again?" Rin asked 

"Lord Hokage told us to investigate a matter near the border of our nation," Minato replied

"Do you know what happened?" Rin asked

"They only told us that multiple lighting strikes were coming from the ground rising to the sky on a clear day. Could be the work of other shinobi," Kakashi explained

"It might not be anything the villager who reported it could have just imagined but we should still check it out," Minato said

"Do you really think someone was just seeing things?" Kakashia sked

(No, I don't but I don't know any ninja with lightning abilities that strong in our nation) Minato thought to himself

...

As Minato and his squad made their way towards the sense of the strikes. Deus continues on his way to Konoha clueless to the team's advances.
