In The Primal Chaos, My identity Was Exposed By The Heavens

Chapter 62

Chapter 62: Heavenly Lord wants to testify? Laozi, Yuanshi panicked! [5]

Styx had successfully demonstrated the concept of Primordial Unity, transcending eternity, becoming immortal, and positioning himself along the vast river of time.

Even more importantly, he had broken free from the control of heaven’s decrees, operating beyond the confines of the celestial order, and embracing the grand cosmic way. This newfound freedom allowed him to exist without restraints and truly found harmony within the realms of the heavens and the universe.

These remarkable achievements trace back to Ye Xiu’s initial guidance, encouraging Styx to swear allegiance to the Tao and establish Mingjiao immediately after Nuwa created humanity. This profound connection to the Tao enabled him to attain remarkable blessings and the elusive Primordial Unity Tao Fruit.

It was crucial to note that what Styx achieved this time was not merely the path set by heaven but a unique road of his own. Thus, Styx wasn’t a sage aligned with the heavens but a sage following his path.

While Styx and Nuwa were sanctified on the same day and possessed Primordial Unity 1st Layer cultivation, a noticeable disparity exists between them. A sage of the Tao of Heaven was destined to be governed by the will of Heaven and subjected to numerous restrictions despite seeming aloof and detached.

Conversely, a Tao sage transcended to a realm of true bliss, unfettered by eternity. Even if the Tao of Heaven were to intervene, it couldn’t erase a Tao Saint as long as a sliver of willpower remains. Calling upon their true name allowed them to be reborn endlessly.

This extraordinary development astounded prehistoric luminaries like Laozi, Yuanshi, Jieyin, and Zhunti. Although Nuwa had earlier reached Primordial Unity, Styx’s achievement was inconceivable, causing them great consternation.

In particular, Laozi was deeply perplexed and even sensed that his father might have been the first to establish a religion and become a saint.

Why did Styx suddenly appear, creating a meditation religion?

Jieyin and Zhunti voiced their grievances, lamenting the perceived injustice of their Taoist ancestors and the divine order. Other prehistoric powers were equally astonished by these developments.

The fishing boats that once ridiculed Styx for overstepping suddenly ceased their mockery upon his attainment of the Primordial Unity Tao Fruit. To Primordial Unity saints, they were like ants, too insignificant to insult or offend.

Styx founding Mingjiao and achieving Tao Primordial Unity piqued the curiosity of many, leading them to suspect the involvement of the mysterious Taoist behind these events.

Nuwa maintained her composed and majestic demeanor in the celestial realm, showing no resentment towards Styx for capitalizing on her enlightenment. After all, her Primordial Unity Tao fruit was rooted in Ye Xiu’s teachings.

Nuwa couldn’t help but feel a sense of wonder and amazement. Even though she had achieved Primordial Unity herself, the identity of the being on Mount Buzhou remained shrouded in mystery. She noticed an enigmatic “law” enveloping Buzhou Mountain that even a Primordial Unity Saint couldn’t fully discern. Nuwa was particularly awed by Ye Xiu’s ability to enlighten two Primordial Unity saints successfully.

After deep contemplation, Nuwa sighed in admiration, saying, “Master Ye Xiu…he truly embodies the divine and human in this world.” Before creating humans, she had already engraved a message in their inherited memories, declaring that Ye Xiu would be the Holy Father of the human race from that moment on.

Having fulfilled her promise to Ye Xiu, Nuwa turned her attention to other matters. She embarked on a journey to the chaos thirty-three days away, where she would establish her teaching, following the rule set by Hongjun when he preached in the Purple Heaven Palace.

As for Styx, being a sage of the Tao, he was not bound by the way of heaven or Hongjun. He expressed his gratitude and respect to Buzhou Mountain before vanishing through a void passage, returning to the endless blood sea.

With the departures of Nuwa and Styx, the Primordial Unity presence that had filled the prehistoric world began to dissipate, along with the imposing aura of the saints. It seemed like tranquility might return to Honghuang. However, on Mount Buzhou, another commotion unfolded. Ye Xiu ascended above the clouds, dressed in white, his eyes half-opened, exuding an otherworldly presence as he seemed to drift through the ancient galaxy.

A resounding, ethereal Taoist voice echoed leisurely on Buzhou Mountain, reverberating through the ears of the Heavenly Lord, filling his heart with awe.

Ye Xiu asked, “Heavenly Lord… Your opportunity to prove the Tao has come. Do you know what to do?”

Initially puzzled, the Heavenly Lord pondered the question and suddenly had an epiphany, his eyes excitedly shining. He declared, “My opportunity to prove the Tao…has arrived!”

With a mighty step, the Heavenly Lord, holding his sword, left Buzhou Mountain and ascended to the prehistoric sky’s peak, his sword qi radiating powerfully. He directed his gaze downwards and made a resolute declaration, “Laozi…Yuanshi…I want to prove the Tao!”

At that moment, in the Kunlun Mountains, Laozi and Yuanshi felt an immediate change, their hearts pounding, and an unsettling premonition filled their minds.
