Is It Wrong to Abusing Cartoon Tropes in Dungeon?

Chapter 30: 30 Help Us!

The day after the crisis in Tokonosu City, at eight in the morning, Altair woke up from the guest bedroom in the villa.

The unfamiliar ceiling and the familiar feeling of pressure on his chest.

Hmm? Pressure on his chest?

Altair looked down and found that there was an arm resting on his chest, wrapping around his neck, and another arm on his stomach, hugging him, with a leg pressing down on his lower abdomen, and even a leg resting on his thigh.

What the heck, there were two people here, one on each side!

On the left was Saeko, her left arm wrapped around his neck, and her right leg resting on his thigh. As for the arm and the leg pressing on his lower abdomen, they belonged to Shizuka.

What the heck, Saeko was understandable; they had chatted late into the night yesterday, and she had directly followed him to sleep over. It was just a simple sleep. But how did Shizuka end up here?

Could it be that she got up in the night, went to the bathroom, and accidentally found the wrong room?

Forget it, it didn't matter. After all, the profit was his!

Altair gently withdrew his arm from the embrace of both girls and peeled their legs and arms off him. Finally, he quietly sat up from the middle, got out of bed, and left the two resting on the bed.

He opened the curtains, checked the weather outside, then left the room and went to the balcony on the second floor, jumping directly onto the roof to observe the surroundings.

It was still relatively safe at night; a few zombies had wandered close, but they were still a few blocks away from the villa.

No problem, he could move!

After surveying the surrounding area of the villa, Altair returned to the second-floor interior. Saeko had already gotten up, smiled and nodded at him as he walked into the room, and then directly went downstairs. As for Shizuka, she probably hadn't woken up yet. With Altair there, combined with Shizuka's character, she was the least burdened among the three; she could be described as carefree.

Saeko made breakfast and then woke Shizuka. After the three of them had breakfast together, they prepared to start their new adventure.

The crisis in Tokonosu City had been ongoing for a day, and the situation was basically set. The entire city, except for the airport, port, and a few locations, had largely fallen. People either hid in their homes waiting for rescue or moved to the rescue sites, while the rest had basically turned into zombies.

Altair donned the light armor he had brought with him and sat in the driver's seat. Saeko's position was in the passenger seat, but she hadn't gotten in yet; she was opening the gate to let Altair drive out.

Shizuka was honestly sitting in the passenger seat, serving as a mascot, and she was a very lucky one at that. Along the way, people took care of her, and at night, she even had a place to wash, sleep, and eat. In this apocalyptic world, what else could be considered luck?

With one press of the accelerator, Altair drove the armored Humvee straight out of the yard, executing a drift to stop by the roadside. Once Saeko got into the car after closing the gate, he pressed the accelerator again and took off.

This time, Altair finally felt comfortable driving. The height of the Humvee improved his visibility significantly. The reinforced armor made the vehicle sturdy; although its heaviness resulted in high fuel consumption, it was much more satisfying to crash into things. He didn't have to worry about minor collisions, and he could simply run over obstacles in his path because the ground clearance was high enough!

From there on, Altair drove happily, pressing down on the accelerator without hesitation, crashing through obstacles.

Along the way, Altair knocked aside many cars parked on the roadside. Towards the end, when he saw another vehicle, he would intentionally rev the engine to bump it slightly.

He wasn't crashing head-on; that would just be a waste of the car's front bumper, and even with armor, it couldn't withstand continuous collisions.

This thrilling scene made Saeko in the passenger seat and Shizuka in the back seat a bit excited.

However, this excitement didn't last long. They had just driven a short distance when they were stopped on the road.

In the center of the road, a motorcycle suddenly darted out from a side path, crashing into a car and then collapsing in the middle of the road. Altair had no choice but to slam on the brakes. Although he could just drive past, there were clearly people nearby; if he wrecked the vehicle, it would be troublesome.

After stopping the car, people immediately emerged from the side.

Altair looked over and was surprised to find someone he knew among them.

In the team from the school, there was a chubby weapon enthusiast, Kohta Hirano, who had no status but was surprisingly capable.

What was he doing here?

Just as Altair was puzzled, three figures appeared behind Kohta Hirano.

Takashi Komuro, Rei Miyamoto, and Saya Takagi.

He had left them behind in school, and yet today they ran into each other again; what a coincidence.

"It's the students from Fujimi Academy!"

The four of them were still wearing their Fujimi Academy uniforms, but compared to yesterday, their uniforms today were covered in bloodstains and rips, their hair was messy, and their faces were filthy, making them look like four beggars.

"Let's go check it out."

Altair told Shizuka to stay in the car while he got out with Saeko.

"Busujima-senpai?"

As soon as Saeko got out of the passenger seat, they immediately recognized her, looking quite surprised.

They had seen Saeko before, and she had left in a car with Shizuka and a strange-looking man. Now she was getting out of an armored vehicle.

When Altair got out of the driver's seat, it only deepened their confusion. Wasn't he the man who had left with Saeko Busujima and Shizuka Marikawa yesterday? Had he switched to an armored car?

Shizuka also timely poked her head out from the back seat, confirming it; they were indeed the three people they had seen at school yesterday.

"Marikawa-sensei!"

Saya Takagi exclaimed happily the moment she saw Shizuka.

But Takashi Komuro immediately covered her mouth, as he seemed to understand that sound was a major way to attract zombies. Previously, they had already taken a risk by getting the motorcycle out, and now they didn't want to attract zombies. Their clothes clearly told the story of their experiences from the previous day.

After quieting Saya Takagi, Takashi Komuro turned back to look at Shizuka.

"Busujima-senpai, Marikawa-sensei, please help us!"
