(Jon's P.O.V)
"Solar Force!"
A thick beam of concussive lasers burst out of my eyes, blowing the factory's large metal doors inwards.
"Dude...that was so effing cool...but Solar Force? Really?"
Kid snickered from my back.
My face heated up and I swerved around to face him. Only to find the same 'cringe' expression on his face, shared by Powerboy and Bane. Clearly, I was the only one with good taste.
"New move set, still working on the naming..."
I cleared my throat, refocusing on the objective.
"L- let's just go in."
I flew on ahead, sweeping away the smoke hanging at the entrance by blowing the air.
"Wind force."
I whispered to myself.
Within the industrial structure, Aqualad was already fighting against Kobra and his cult.
I dropped down on Mammoth's massive roided out form, slamming him onto the metal floor with an earthshaking impact that took him out with a groan.
The sound alerted Kobra to my presence.
"There were more of you?!"
The pale skinned bald headed cult leader pointed my way.
"Kill them all."
His goons opened fire on me, only they made the mistake of ignoring Aqualad. Whips of electrified water struck down from the metal railing above us, mowing through the group. I didn't even have to do anything.
"Give up, you're not winning this."
I warned.
"Make me."
Kobra seethed, pushing the girl by his side forward.
"I'll kill you for doing that to my brother!"
The girl yelled.
"Brother?"
I followed her gaze down to Mammoth. He was thrice her size with a blocky ugly face while she was kinda cute.
"You two look nothing alike. He adopted?"
That made her mad.
Shimmer opened her mouth and screamed, unleashing a destructive sonic wave that rippled through the air.
SKREEEEEEE-
Twap!
I nullified the attack with a finger snap. The shock in her eyes was ego-boosting.
"I call that Wind Force. Imagine an invisible spear made of air molecules disrupting the cohesion of your sonic resonance wave. Technically, Wind Force is the drastic repulsion of said air molecules but with very precise control I can mold and direct the impact."
The only issue was it's short range.
Shimmer stopped, stumped.
"Huh?! What does that even mean?"
"It means...distraction successful."
A blur streaked past me, tripping her feet and binding her limbs with zip ties. Then Kid did the same to Kobra.
Powerboy with Bane stood to my left, Aqualad jumped down and Wally blitzed to my side. The four of us faced the bound Supervillain and his cult, all of whom were passed out on the floor.
"It's over Kobra. It's our turn to steal the Factory."
I told him, causing Bane to laugh at him.
"What goes around comes around esé."
So true man. So true.
Kobra glared at the Luchador, before turning to me.
"You have no idea who you're playing with children."
"Oh you mean your masters?"
I asked.
"Kobra has no master!"
The cult leader hissed.
"They're...business partners."
"I wonder how they'd react to finding out a bunch of 'children' defeated you."
Bane scoffed.
"Dude, we kicked your ass too."
I deadpanned. Guess the mask makes it so he can't see the irony.
Kobra did not take kindly to the trolling.
"Baaane, I shall enjoy killing you slowly and sacrificing your soul for my god!"
"Ha! Not if I cut your head off and feed your corpse to the dogs!"
Suddenly, we found ourselves the unwilling spectators to a supervillain argument. One with insults, threats and deadly promises I was 1000% sure they were willing to keep.
It was so ridiculous that Wally was rolling on the ground laughing and I could see the amusement in Aqualad's eyes and Connor's baffled expression.
Once Bane switched to a litany of 'yo momma' insults in Spanish, I decided to stop it.
"Alright alright, that's enough. Both of you shut up."
They actually quieted down, but still glared at each other.
"Powerboy, Aqualad, deliver Bane to Robin. We can't access the database without his bio-metrics. Kid, I want you to sweep through the Factory and take out any remaining enemies. I'll keep a watch on the prisoners and wait for Miss Martian to secure them. Move."
Maybe I was getting a hang of this leader thing, because they immediately did as ordered, leaving me alone with Kobra.
M'gann would be here in 2 minutes. Plenty to do what I wanted. I cracked my knuckles- smiling down at Kobra.
"I'm only going to ask this once. Where is the Kobra-Venom shipment?"
Kobra damn near shit his pants when he saw my eyes glowing red.

As it turns out, a threat coming from someone who can bend steel is very effective.
Kobra fessed up the location and once Miss Martian showed up and safely put everyone to sleep, I flew off to find the shipment.
Half a dozen wooden crates were stacked neatly on the loading bay overlooking a runway.
I opened one up and jackpot, found rows upon rows of vials containing a blue liquid inside.
I pocketed one, and smashed the crate into bits to make it look like an accident was made during loading.
The floor became littered with shattered glass and liquid. Even Batman wouldn't be able to tell one vial was missing.
With my tracks covered, I contacted the team.
"Superboy to Robin, what's the status."
"Found out Kobra's been making a new serum..."
Dick recounted what I already knew of Kobra's dealings, adding he had downloaded the incriminating data and sent it over to the League.
"All that's left is to find the kobra-venom as evidence and mission accomplished."
Robin stated.
"Is it blue?"
"Yes. Why?"
He asked.
"I'm standing on the remains of one. I think I found the shipment."
There was a pause.
"Nice work Kent. Honestly, this is going a lot smoother than I expected."
"Must be my incredible luck."
"And yet I still beat you everytime in COD."
That was because I never used my powers.
"Focus."
Aqualad gently interjected.
"Right. Anyway, sit tight and wait for us there. The Shipment is scheduled for transportation tonight. We should be getting some company soon. ETA 10 minutes."
He revealed.
Sportsmaster would be the one to do the pick up, though the team didn't know that.
"Think we should ask for back up?"
Kid made a reasonable point.
"No. We already have control of the Factory, let's set a trap for whoever's coming and take them in too."
I countered.
"Three villains for the price of one. Batman will be impressed."
Robin whistled through the comms.
"Ambitious."
Aqualad said.
"Just like a true leader."
"You guys can't see it, but I'm smiling."
I told my team.
-General P.O.V-
10 minutes later, the sound of a chopper rang out.
Upon touching down, a blonde man in a hockey mask and specialized sports armor, jumped out. On his back was the handle of a bat and what looked like a collapsed javelin. Dude had style.
Sportsmaster was a top mercenary, not quite on someone like Deathstroke's level but close enough that it didn't matter to the Light. He was their enforcer after all. And today, their representative.
He surveyed the scene with a careful eye, passing over my concealed position, before deciding it was clear and walking towards Kobra.
The Cult Leader stood alone before the loading bay, expressionless.
Sportsmaster stopped a few inches away and the two had a stare down.
"Is everything in order?"
Sportsmaster broke the silence.
"I'm in."
Robin radioed in, successfully sneaking into the chopper.
"Move."
The world narrowed into focus as I blitzed from my hiding place behind a tree, and a split second later, had Sportsmaster grunting on the ground, a vice grip on his hands and my knee on the small of his back.
"No sudden moves or I'll make sure you never pitch a baseball again."
I warned him and he ceased struggling.
"Good job Miss Martian."
I nodded at Kobra, who shapeshifted into M'gann.
"Shit."
Robin cussed
"One got away. Cheshire."
"Don't stress it Rob. Like you said, We captured three villains. We've struck gold."
I told him.

"And that's basically what happened."
I told Batman during the debrief a day later.
The team and I sat around a table in the briefing room, with Batman and Red Tornado standing to our front, highlighted by the light from the screens behind them.
"And the destroyed crate?"
He asked, the whites of his Mask boring into mine.
I raised my eyebrows and looked around at the others, the same clueless expression shared among them.
"You said destroyed. I assumed it got damaged when they were packaging the serum."
I said with a frown.
"Me too. Someone could have dropped the crate."
Kid Flash shrugged.
"Right. I mean did you see that Mammoth guy? Dude had zero coordination. Must be those oversized muscles."
Rob pitched in.
Batman straightened and I fidgeted, as if nervous.
"Did we screw up or something?"
"No. You completed the mission with effective strategies and team work. Your team's success owes it to your leadership. Good work."
He gave us an approving nod.
"Yes!"
Kid high fived Robin, while the others smiled. Even Batman held the ghost of a very very small grin. I had to use my enhanced sight to see it.
"You're all dismissed. Except you Superboy."
The Dark Knight stated.
Once everyone cleared the room, I was left standing alone by the door, facing him. My heart was hammering in nervousness at what he wanted to say.
"You have a traitor in your team."
Batman grunted, not one for mincing words.
Out of everything, that was not what I was expecting.
