Chapter 1335: Brooding Men
Two days have passed, but nothing has gone down in Alola. Julian continues to train his Pokemon and is seeing gradual improvement in them.
Marshadow has shown significant signs of improvement in his energy control. Julian had to modify everything that Marshadow had learned all this time, but Marshadow is smart and quickly caught on to his teachings and started reworking his energy.
Charjabug's progress is slower than Marshadow's as he is younger and this is the first time he is trying to improve his energy control while Marshadow already has experience with it.
His Wimpod is also doing great with his energy control, though the best course of action for Wimpod would be more physical training, instead Julian decided to not take this route as his Wimpod is very close to evolving so having better energy control before evolving would be a great help to Wimpod.
As for his biggest challenge, in a literal way, the Incineroar that he just caught deep inside the volcano.
Incineroar is wild in his nature and doesn't like humans, but he has calmed down a lot, at least in front of Julian and his pokemons. He still has no confidence in letting Incineroar out in front of other people.
He is also very strong because of all the Z-energy he observed while living inside that volcano. It created a natural mutation inside him, making him extremely large compared to a normal Incineroar.
Julian understands that his Incineroar is a totem Pokemon, so he had to come up with a new form of energy training for Incineroar.
Every cell in Incineroar's body is fused with Z-energy and they act like a reservoir to store extra Z-energy, which it can use to perform Z moves without a Z-Crystal.
As for Z-energy, Julian can always use a Z-crystal to power up his Incineroar even more.
For now, this is all just a theory and Julian is working on it, but if he is successful, Incineroar might become one of his strongest fire-type pokemons ever.

While Julian is busy training his Pokemon, his shadow, Gengar has finally tracked down the unknown man that he has been searching for.
Gengar is now in the Orre region, looking down at a man with spiky black hair from the ceiling.
Gengar actually found him yesterday and kept his eye on him, but the man has still not made any contact with anyone, so Gengar has to be patient.
Right now the man is sitting inside a coffee shop drinking a cup of coffee while he has no idea that he is being watched by a terrifying monster.
As the man continued to drink his coffee and Gengar continued his spying mission, the door of the shop opened and two people walked in. Both of them looked like they are brooding in darkness because of their looks.
With black hats and long black coats, they approach the man and disturb his coffee time.
The man lifts his head and looks at the two men and gets to his feet to welcome them.
"It's done,"
He says as soon as the two men sit down.
The two men didn't speak back and just stared at him for a few seconds before one of them finally spoke.
"You failed,"
He said in a raspy voice. It sounded very cold, very inhuman.
"What do you mean, I failed? I did exactly as I was asked to do."
The man who Gengar is after spoke in shock.
"This is not the right place to talk about it. Follow us"
The other one spoke up as they both got back to their feet. Gengar's target got nervous but he knew he cannot cause a scene or run away. It is in his best interest to follow them.
So he followed the two brooding men out of the coffee shop and into a black van with completely tinted windows.
Gengar watched all of this with great interest and followed the three of them without being noticed.
He is having a lot of fun doing this spy thing and won't mind spending a day or two just doing so.
The van then drove away making Gengar follow them in the van's shadow. He tried to listen to the conversation inside the van, but none of them talked.
He could hear the rapid heartbeat of his target and could tell that the man is extremely nervous right now and doesn't know what to do.
As for the other two men, Gengar felt they were weird. Their heartbeats were very slow, around 30 beats per minute, which is extremely low, but these two seem to be functioning perfectly.
Gengar could tell they were human, but not human, at the same time. Their aura was corrupted. This is the first time he had encountered anything like this.
Gengar couldn't help but get excited after finding this out, all the excitement that awaits him at the end of this ride. All the possible pranks he will pull on his unsuspected victims.
