Chapter 1337: Execution
As the brooding men entered the headquarters with their captive, they didn't know they were about to have the worst luck anyone could have. As a menacing, mischievous entity decided to make their lives a living hell.
Gengar followed the brooding men into the headquarters building and observed everything that he could see and feel.
Within a few minutes, Gengar has a clear understanding of the building. This headquarters is built like a maze and without proper training and understanding of what paths to take, one would get lost.
And if one got lost, they are doomed. Everyone here is trained and has knowledge of where they need to be and where they need to go.
So if someone gets lost or is somewhere they shouldn't be, they will be eliminated without any questions asked.
They will be presumed as an infiltrator.
These people are very ruthless and strict with their rules and Gengar could tell by how the cipher members inside the headquarters acted with accord.
Gengar continued to follow the brooding men and his target as he was taken deeper into the headquarters before the group finally stopped in front of a metal door.
The door opened with a mechanical sound and behind this door is a modern-looking office, and at the center of this room is the person in charge right of this headquarters.
One of the brooding men spoke and pushed the captive man forward and presented him to their boss.
Sitting in the boss seat is a tall man with black hair combed backward to look slick except for one thick, long strand of hair in the front that looks like a bent antenna.
He is wearing a white coat with blue stripes and purple pants and, to top it all off, weird-looking glasses over his eyes.
This man is none other than Ein, the person in charge of this headquarters. He is also the mastermind behind the plan of plunging Alola into chaos.
Ein glared at the man in front of him with his cold eyes and spoke.
Ein "You were given one job, and you failed to complete it. Such incompetence is not tolerable,"
He spoke with coldness.
"I don't know what you mean. I did everything you asked me to do. In fact, I stayed there a little longer to make sure that everything is going as planned"
The man answered.
Ein "Then why isn't Alola not plunged into chaos?"
Ein asked as his voice vibrated with anger. His plan had completely failed.
"How would I know? It was you who planned everything. You must have not thought it all out properly"
The man said.
Ein frowned upon hearing this because he knows the man in front of him is telling the truth, but he has a massive ego to admit that he is the one in the wrong.
Ein "You have no use for me now"
He said and looked at the brooding men and signaled them to finish the job.
Gengar watched everything with interest, but then he saw one of the brooding men pull out his gun and shoot the man in the back of his head, ending his life in an instant.
The man didn't even see it coming. His body went limp and rag-dolled on the ground.
Gengar did a Pikachu face as he saw this. He didn't expect a brutal execution to unfold right in front of him.
Ein watched this with disgust and walked out of the room before saying a few words.
Ein "Clean this all up before I come back."
Of course, Gengar decided to follow Ein as he is clearly the leader here. Though he wants to have fun and mess with the brooding men, he knows his primary mission in coming here is to find out what is going on.
The two brooding men watched their boss walk away before one of them walked up to the corpse and picked it up by its hair, causing the blood to stop flowing out as some of the blood inside has already flowed out of the body.
He then drags the body out to dispose of it leaving the other brooding man alone.

Gengar followed Ein as he makes his way toward the elevator. Of course, Ein has no idea that a terrifying existence is looming in his shadow, watching his every action.
Ein entered the elevator and entered the secret floor. Only the admins are allowed to enter.
Both Ein and Gengar arrived on the secret floor and went into the communication room to contact his boss.
The sound of the call ringing echoed throughout the room and it was picked up.
Before Ein could talk, the voice from the other side spoke.
"I am disappointed"
Ein "Sir, I don't know what happened. Everything should have been according to the plan, but somewhere something went wary."
"Don't matter, you failed and your failure reflects on me. You should know that I don't like to fail"
The voice became heavy and guttural making Ein cower in fear.
Ein "Sir, I will not fail next time. I will make sure to take over Alola without failure"
"Hmm, get lost"
The voice said and ended the call.
Ein took a deep breath of relief and found a chair to sit down. He thought he was going to get discarded by the boss, but he seems to be lucky.
Now that relief washes over him, he wonders how he failed.
He had planned to plunge Alola into chaos as he wanted to invade it and take over the whole region.
By creating an internal dispute, the defensive forces will be weakened from the inside, and invading them won't be hard.
But nothing happened according to his plan. The goons he commissioned were subdued within a day, and he doesn't know how that could be done.
Even with 1000s of his men, Ein will find it hard to stop the violence and conflict that he had planned for.
What happened that put his whole plan to a full stop?
Ein 'Did I miss something?'
He questioned himself and then thought about the man who declared that he is going to destroy the cipher.
Ein 'But that wouldn't be possible. How could a single man stop it all? Even with the help of the government officials, it would take him weeks.'
He thought.
Ein "Well, it doesn't matter now, anyway. I have failed to do it the easy way. So there is only one option left. Just brute force into Alola with the numbers"
He said and got to work.
