With barely moving his legs Risotto walked down the corridor to his room. His strength was almost gone, blood kept running and staining the floor, his eyes were starting to blur.
- There you are! - Prosciutto's voice came from behind.
- Boss, you can't torture yourself like that, you could have died. - said Formaggio, slightly displeased.
- It's not a big deal. The main thing is that he didn't die, and the rest doesn't matter. - Risotto told them with great fatigue in his voice. - Better help me to my room.
They picked him up and carried him to his room.
- Where is Pesci? - Risotto asked Prosciutto.
- 'I sent him to get cigarettes. He was worried sick about you, like a child.
They dragged him to the room and put him on the bed. Prosciutto started preparing bandages for the dressing.
- Well, are you glad you won? - He asked him.
- A little. As far as I'm concerned, it's hard to call it a victory. Considering how hard it was for me and the condition of me and my opponent, it's more like a draw. But it was a valuable experience nonetheless.
- Interesting judgement. - Said Prosciutto and began to bandage him up.
- Do you mind if I go for a walk? - Asked Formaggio, - As I see it, my help is not really needed here.
- Go on. - Risotto let him go.
Formaggio left the room and walked down the corridors.
Finally, Prosciutto finished dressing him.
- Okay, well, you go on recovering, there's something else to discuss tomorrow.
Prosciutto said goodbye and left the room.
Risotto lay on the bed and reflected on the past fight.
'Damn, I have too little experience in using Nen in combat. You could say I won in a way due to luck and the element of surprise. And to hell with it, I'll get a good night's sleep first before I analyse the fight.'
Leaving Risotto exhausted, he passed out.
Formaggio's POV
Formaggio wandered quietly through the corridors glancing every now and then at the female floor staff.
'Gee, I thought Gyaccio was the crazy one, but it turns out that the boss is a badass too. You have to fight like that even when you're almost out of aura and still win. And his opponent is quite good, it's obvious that he's an experienced Nen user, but he's too confident, which is why he lost. If the boss trains for at least two more weeks, he will be able to be on par with the more experienced Nen users, and battle practice is also needed. I can already see that he's approaching his limit.'
Soon Formaggio came across Hisoka who appeared to be walking to his room. It was evident that he was pretty badly hurt as well. He was holding onto his side, where Risotto had stuck the knife, and his head, where he had been given a good crack.
'Hmm, that guy the boss fought, he got a good beating too.'
Not sure why, but Formaggio decided to go after Hisoka. He followed him cautiously, hiding behind corners of the corridor every now and then. Soon Hisoka came to his room, a short girl with pink hair was waiting for him.
'Hmm, a girl? And a rather pretty one at that. Does she really know that clown?'
The girl and Hisoka entered the room.
'That's suspicious, I think it's worth following them. If they suddenly do anything inappropriate, I'll just leave. Or maybe I won't, hehe.'
Using Little Feet, Formaggio shrunk himself down enough to fit through the gap under the door. Once outside the door, he immediately hid and began spying on them.
Hisoka sat down on the bed, while the girl sat down on a chair beside him and began stitching up the most serious wounds using some Nan-nithi.
- You've been through a lot,' the girl said, 'Your self-confidence will get you killed sooner or later.
Hisoka looked at her with a disapproving gaze, and his face didn't have its usual smile.
- I heard that you hired some third-rate mercenaries to kill my rival while he was still in Yorkshin, but they failed. Why did you hire them? That's not like you, you always act on your own.
- That's what the boss ordered. He wanted to test his power on others first.
- Kuroro? But why would he want Risotto?
- I have no idea, but he's been a little strange lately.
- Strange? What do you mean?
- He's become more secretive, sometimes going somewhere without his guards, he's become more mysterious.
- Interesting.
- Well, I've got to go. Don't forget we've got a big case in Yorkshire in a few months' time. I'll drop by again when I have to pack.
Formaggio, meanwhile, was beginning to realise the seriousness of the situation.
'Gee, it turns out that this girl and Hisoka are from Genii Ryodan. We'll have to warn the others. Hmm, should we kill them right now? No, we can't, they can still be useful to us, thanks to them we can find the rest of the gang. Who's their boss? Apparently they don't know why he wants Risotto.'
Formaggio left the room in the same way and made sure the girl left the floor. He waited outside Risotto's room for a while longer and went to his room to sleep.
Risotto's POV
Next day. Risotto, Pesci, Prosciutto and Formaggio sat at the same table and listened to Formaggio's account of his espionage yesterday.
- I see, - Said Risotto, - In that case we must go to the airport today and return to Yorkshin. To hell with the fights, I've already made a lot of money and gained enough experience. In Yorkshin we'll start preparing for a possible attack, and we'll try to dig up as much information as we can and hit them if we get the chance.
- I'll call the others tonight and tell them to be on the lookout. - Said Prosciutto.
- Good. In that case, we leave for the airport in three hours. Pesci, Formaggio, you can go. - They left the room and went to get ready for their flight.
- Prosciutto, I thought you wanted to talk to me about something, talk to me now.
- Yes, it's about Nen. You should know about your limit.
- Nen's limit?
- You've probably noticed by now that your learning speed is fantastic compared to normal humans. But don't think that you can continue to learn at this speed to become a monster Nen. No, I'm not. You're already approaching your limit. As time goes on, your learning speed will drop, and you'll be able to master Nen even slightly worse than a normal human. But don't worry, by then you'll be strong enough to fight on par with the more experienced Nen users. And from what I understand, this feature is only for stand users.
However, Risotto wasn't upset by this news, he was still as unperturbed as ever.
- Basically, I was expecting something like that. Thanks for telling me about it now. Now go get ready, we're leaving soon.
Prosciutto left the room, leaving Risotto to himself.
'Hmm, so boss Genei Ryodan wants my head. But why would he do that? How does he know me? It's getting weirder and weirder every day.'
Soon Risotto and the others descended to the ground floor, where he met Gon and Killua.
- Wow! - Gon shouted excitedly, - Hi Risotto!
- Hi, what are you guys doing here?
- We're here to fight in the Celestial Arena. Are you here for that too?
- No, I'm getting out of here. I've been fighting here for over a week, I've reached the 200th floor and fought an experienced fighter.
Gon and Killua opened their mouths in surprise and couldn't really say anything.
- Hey boss, do you know these two? - Pesci asked Risotto, and the others supported the question.
- I met them at the exam. They may be pretty young, but they're pretty capable guys.
- Hey Risotto, who's that with you? - Asked Gon, -Your friends?
- You could say that. Okay, I wish you good luck, and we should get going.
Soon they arrived at the airport and flew to Yorkshin.
