Risotto's POV

Next day. The time was 14:40.

The weather outside was overcast and there was a light wind. Risotto and all his mates were slowly making their way towards the Auction venue. They had about thirty minutes to walk. They were all dressed in their usual clothes, except for Kurapika, who was wearing a black, classic business suit.

- You tell me,' Kurapika said, 'Why are you all dressed in your usual clothes, and I'm the only one dressed like a jerk in a business suit? - He asked with a little irritation.

- Well, what's the big deal? They didn't say we have to look special, so we can come in our usual clothes. - Risotto answered him.

- You're right... - Kurapika also said with a little irritation, and Risotto looked at him a little incomprehensibly.

Soon they arrived at the Auction venue. It was a large skyscraper that bore the name 'Semetori'. At the entrance they were met by guards who at first didn't want to let them in, but soon some important person came out of the building and told them to let them in.

Once inside they began to look around and make a plan of action.

- Risotto began, 'We need to split up by floor to ensure maximum coverage of the protected area. Me and Kurapika will patrol 1-2 floors and in case of what we can go down to the basement, Prosciutto and Pesci will take over the 3rd floor, Melone and Giaccio will patrol the territory around the building, Illuso and Formaggio will provide cover to whoever they can and from wherever they can. We've all got our phones with us, so call if you need anything. Is that clear?

- We're clear. - All at once.

- That's good. And be careful, because we only know what four of them look like, we have no information on the others. Now, let's get to our positions.

Everyone went to their positions. Prosciutto and Pesci took the lift to the third floor, Giaccio and Melone went outside, Formaggio and Illuso began to wander the corridors, and Risotto and Kurapika were still on the ground floor.

- You can relax for now, - Risotto turned to Kurapika, - They will probably attack only in the evening, or even at night.

- You think so?

- Only idiots would attack during the day, and besides, the Auction doesn't seem to start until the evening either.

- That makes sense.

After almost a minute of silence, Kurapika spoke up.

- Say, you remember what we talked about the other day, don't you? About the eyes.

- I do, and frankly, it's hard for me to understand you.

- It's important to me. Those bastards took my clan's eyes and sold them off. And there will probably be eyes at this auction, at least one pair, I can feel it. - I could tell Kurapika was getting a little angry.

- Calm down, you'll get your eyes back.

- I'm gonna kill all these freaks, I'm gonna kill them all!

- Hey! - Risotto interrupted him sharply, his voice and look becoming more serious, - I'll give you a piece of advice... No, it's even a rule: You can't say 'I'll kill you' or 'I'll kill them'... Because the moment those words come to your mind... Our target is already dead, and she doesn't care! So you don't have to tell her anything. Do you understand me?

Kurapika looked at him with surprised eyes. He didn't even know what to say.

- Erm...

- Just remember this rule and follow it, because your life might even depend on it.

- Nuuu... Okay... I'll try to remember it.

After saying that, Risotto went on patrol, and Kurapika stood still for almost a minute trying to digest Risotto's words, then went up to the first floor.

Risotto strolled through the rather cosy and richly appointed corridors of the Semetori, occasionally glancing at the people trying to analyse them and make sure they weren't enemies.

'Eh Kurapika... You're still young, you don't understand or know much. You try to act like an adult, but for the most part you're still a boy, even though you've seen a lot. You still have a lot to learn about this life.'

He continued to patrol the building occasionally going up to the first floor and down to the basement.

It was evening. The time was 20:40.

There was a noticeable increase in people in the evening. And it was obvious that not poor people came here. Everyone was dressed in expensive and beautiful clothes. Risotto was well aware that most of them were obviously not clean before the law.

The phone rang, it was Melone.

- I'm listening. - Said Risotto.

- Hello, Risotto, it looks like it's starting! I've just noticed some people who just entered the building. Some of them fit the description we have.

- Roger that, warn the others! - After saying that, Risotto hung up the phone and went to look for a group of suspected enemies.

Once near the exit of the building, he saw his old acquaintance, who turned out to be Hisoka.

'He... It's no big deal though. As I can see there's no one else, so the others have probably already gone after the treasure and my comrades. In that case, I'll deal with him and the others will manage somehow.'

Hisoka smiled his usual smile.

- Well hello there. - He spoke up.

- I understand you've been waiting for me. Do you want to fight again?

Hisoka smiled even more.

- I see you're smart, and you're going straight to the point. I like that. - He licked his lips.

Risotto felt something approaching him from behind. Quickly turning around he saw a multitude of cards flying straight at him. Instantly grabbing his knife, he managed to fend off a few cards, but still two cards hit him in the shoulder. It hurt, but it was bearable. Turning around again he saw Hisoka already standing in front of him. He was about to strike Hisoka, but he dodged instantly, ducked behind him and prepared to strike. Risotto immediately turned around and managed to block, which reduced the damage a bit, but it was still so powerful that he flew straight into the window, shattering it and ending up lying on the street in a pile of glass shards.

'Oh shit! He used some trick he'd never shown before. Somehow his cards ended up behind my back.'

Hisoka climbed out of the window and stood directly in front of Risotto. The latter in turn rose quickly.

- Well, are you surprised? - Hisoka said, 'I see you're surprised. You didn't think I used all my tricks in the Celestial Arena back then, did you?

Risotto, for his part, remained silent. He shook off the glass and looked at Hisoka thoughtfully.

- Why are you silent? - Hisoka was somewhat surprised and concerned at his opponent's silence and his remarkable calmness.

Risotto continued to remain silent. He looked around and assessed his surroundings.

They were standing opposite each other a few metres away from the broken window. The weather outside was just as overcast as it had been during the day. Even though it was already evening, it was still quite bright, as the light from the street lamps, the neighbouring buildings and the skyscraper illuminated everything perfectly.

After a brief silence, Risotto spoke again.

- Get out of here. - He said in a calm voice.

- What? - Hisoka was surprised.

- I'm telling you to get out of here. You could say I'm giving you a chance to leave and save your life.

- Ha, are you kidding me? Did you hit your head?

Risotto was silent again for a few seconds, and then he spoke again.

- You know, I'll let you in on a little secret: Back then, in the Celestial Arena, I wasn't fighting at full strength either. After all, if I had fought seriously, you would probably be dead by now. Truth be told, it's quite rare for me to fight at full strength, and I feel like it will be the same in this fight.

- What the hell are you talking about? - Hisoka asked with incomprehension.

- I just gave you a chance to walk out of here alive, and you refused. Now I'll show you what I'm really capable of. I'll show you the difference between us. Destroy him, Metallica!
