Risotto's POV

A few minutes before the incident.

Risotto and Hisoka were standing across from each other five metres apart. A few metres away from them was a broken window. A light and cool breeze was blowing.

- Destroy him, Metallica! - Shouted Risotto, after which knives began to form from the ground.

Hisoka didn't wait for Risotto's attack and threw his cards at him first. Risotto used the knives that had formed near him to fight them off. However, he immediately sent out a new volley of knives that formed from the wall at Hisoka's side. He reacted in time and jumped back. Risotto continued to throw knives in his direction gradually pushing him back towards the street. Hisoka held his defence well and was in no hurry to show anything other than throwing cards.

Suddenly, Risotto felt something approaching from behind him. He instantly turned around and saw that the cards Hisoka had thrown at him back outside the building were flying at him. Luckily this time he was able to fight them all off without injury. Immediately he turned back around and saw Hisoka had gotten close and was about to attack. But this time Risotto was ready for it. He fended off his attack and managed to inflict one slash with his knife himself, causing Hisoka to jump back.

'Hmm, curious. He used the same trick again as that time in the building.'

Using Gyo Risotto quickly looked around and noticed that there was some sort of sticky rubber band-like substance stuck to the cards.

- I see what your trick is,' Risotto turned to Hisoka, 'You transform your aura into a substance that has the properties of rubber and glue. Thus you glued your cards to that rubber band and just attacked me from the back.

- Hmm, quick thinking. Good for you.

- Now it's my turn to show off my new tricks.

In front of Hisoka's eyes, Risotto started to become transparent. Hisoka was a little surprised, and after two seconds, Risotto disappeared altogether.

Risotto himself, as soon as he used invisibility began to walk around Hisoka from the side, gradually going behind his back.

'We have to be careful with him. Fuck knows what else he's capable of pulling off. But I doubt this will help him much.'

Hisoka was constantly looking around, but was still rather calm and collected. Suddenly, needles started coming out of his mouth, piercing his cheeks. But he endured all that pain with dignity.

- You create tiny particles of iron in your skin, and because of the reflection of surrounding objects from the mirror-like surface of the metal, you blend in with the landscape. That's the secret of your invisibility. Am I right?

'Hmm, he's quite clever.'

- I'm not entirely sure about the first one, but I'm pretty sure about the last one. However... - Suddenly Hisoka spread his arms out to all sides. In each hand he held a fan of cards, -This won't help you much. I just got needles in my mouth, which means you're within ten metres of me!

He started spinning around his axis like a whirlwind, and letting the cards out of his hand they too started spinning around him within a ten metre radius.

'He attached the cards to his hands with a rubber band, and now he's trying to get me with this attack. Pretty clever...'

The cards moved around Hisoka like blades that were caught in a tornado. Risotto tried to dodge, and he was pretty good at it, but still a few times the cards hit him.

'Damn! I can't keep dodging. I'll have to move away from him.'

Risotto increased the distance between them to fifteen metres.

- There you are! - Shouted Hisoka, stopping abruptly and throwing nearly a dozen cards at Risotto.

Most of the cards he knocked back, but still two wounded him in his left arm.

- By tactile sensation, I felt my cards cut something, after which I felt them stop cutting it. That's how I knew you were this way. - Hisoka looked straight towards Risotto. Even though he couldn't see him, he realised he was there.

The cards he threw at Risotto were also attached to his hands. He drew them back into his hands and prepared for another attack.

Risotto decided to come out of invisibility.

- Decided to show himself after all? Boldly.

- I don't need invisibility to defeat you,' Risotto said, 'It's more of an extra measure. You've noticed that your cards are a little heavier, haven't you?

Hisoka looked curiously at his cards, which he held fanning his hands. In the next instant, several cards jumped out of his hand and stabbed straight into him. One stabbed and pierced through his cheek, the second and third stabbed into his shoulder, the fourth went straight down his throat, but luckily for him the wound was not fatal.

Hisoka was dumbfounded by this. Risotto maintained his usual equanimity.

- Surprised, huh? Do you want to know how I did it? - Risotto asked with a subtle sneer in his voice, -While you were attacking me, I attached iron particles to your cards. Accordingly, after you put them back in your hands, it gave me the opportunity for a surprise attack. And now it's time to finish.

Barely had Hisoka regained his senses from the previous attack when suddenly several metal pipes, about five centimetres thick, burst out from the ground. He tried to bounce away, but one pipe wrapped around his right leg and wouldn't let him get away.

- And these are cables running under the road. Lucky they were in protective metal pipes.

Hisoka was angry. That crazy smile he usually had on his face was gone. Now he was serious. He grabbed the tubes, strained harder, and tore them apart. Once free of the pipes, he headed towards Risotto.

- You-' He stretched angrily.

- Don't bother, - Risotto interrupted him, - All your actions are useless now, because you are already dead.

Suddenly Hisoka clutched his chest. There was a grimace of terrible pain on his face.

Now Risotto was heading in his direction, coming closer and closer.

- You don't realise what's going on, do you? - Asked Risotto, who came within a metre of him, 'Well, I'll explain. The thing is that all this time, since the beginning of the battle, I've been waiting... Waiting for as much iron in your body as possible to collect in your heart and form a clot. Now your blood flow in your coronary vessels has completely stopped, your heart cells and muscles are dying rapidly due to oxygen deprivation. You can't breathe properly because the blood flow in your lungs has been disrupted. - After saying that, Hisoka collapsed to the ground, staring at Risotto for the last time, 'There, the paralysis of your lower limbs has already set in. Your body organs are failing one by one. It's a pretty unenviable death. Though hell knows, it could have been a lot worse if I'd chosen to kill you differently. It takes a long time to kill in a point-and-shoot fashion, and this time I had to concentrate hard.

Risotto looked at Hisoka and noticed that he was already dead.

- Well, you may not have heard my last words, but I hope you realised the difference between us before you died. You lost because you were overconfident. When a man is overconfident, he necessarily underestimates his opponent. He can easily lose because of this, even though he has great strength and experience. You would have died anyway. Sooner or later, you would have died... If not by my hand, then by someone else's. You don't live long with that kind of attitude. And if you are found and buried, let that truth be the epitaph over your grave.

Risotto took one last look at Hisoka's body before turning and walking back towards the skyscraper.

Risotto was barely out of the street when suddenly there was a tremor, and the part of the skyscraper where Risotto was walking collapsed. Everything from the ground floor to the fifth floor collapsed. Lucky the building itself didn't collapse.

'What was that just now?! An explosion? No. It wasn't an explosion. For a second... Just for a second, I saw a huge ball materialise at the place where everything was now destroyed, then immediately disappeared. It's probably the ability of one of the enemies.'

Risotto gazed at the second and third floor. When the dust cloud descended a bit he saw that Prosciutto was standing on the edge of the third floor, and Kurapika and Pesci were standing on the edge of the second floor. They were all looking around and trying to figure out what had just happened.

'This is getting too dangerous. We should call them and tell them to get out of there.'

He pulled out his phone and dialled Prosciutto's number.
