KINGS OF CRICKET: The Golden Era

Opening the dorm gate the highschoolers entered in to find the lounge empty. Only Kenzo, Xavier and Poseidon were to be found walking around inside and outside of the rooms preparing for tomorrow (excluding Kenzo, who rested leisurely…).

"Oh my… where are the others?" asked Aaron curious. Kenzo sensing their presence sighed getting up, "Finally back hun?" "Yeah, we're back. Thank you for waiting though we hadn't thought you'd be doing so." smiled Isa while Senri nodded.

'Tch!" Kenzo clicked his tongue annoyed walking towards the kitchen, "Who the hell would be waiting for you all?" "Ah, you're back?" asked Xavier coming out of the room. "Hm." Elias hummed.

"The others were tired so they went back to rest." Poseidon told. "Ah…" the highschoolers realized together.

"Sniff! Sniff!" Aigou sniffed hard.

Alan looking at him wondered, "What's wrong?" "Hey… is it just me or do you smell something sweet?" Aigou asked the others who guessed too. "I do!" replied Noah. "Yeah, me too. It smells like… chocolate." Ren guessed.

"Right, it does. What were you boys up to?" Orion sat on the stairs. Kenzo coming out of the kitchen held a cup. "Whatever we were up to should be of no concern to you all." he replied rolling his eyes. "My, my how harsh. Aren't I right Zach?" Isa asked surprised. "Geez… you're so harsh! What kind of juniors did we even get this time? They are totally unlike little Kazuna!" Aigou acted.

Glancing at him Noah whispered, "If you want them to grow sympathy by just acting out, then you are surely mistaken Aigou."

Xavier interrupted, "Shall we head back as well Poseidon? I am done with my work." Poseidon nodded, "Yeah, let's go." "Well then we'll go back as well. Good night seniors." The two of them waved leaving towards their dorms room.

"I'm heading up." Kazuna told as Nagi and Senri followed behind. "I am also coming…" Alan followed. "Just wait a minute." Kenzo called making his way towards him. "Hm?" Alan inquired confused.

The highschoolers all looked at him puzzled. Kenzo staring at Alan for a while shoved a mug into his hands.

Alan blinked confused, "Huh?"

"Oh my~" teased Senri while Isa smiled. "Tch! Drink it up and make sure not to run away tomorrow. We'll be waiting." Kenzo warned heading back. "Making this king wait for so long…" he mumbled annoyed.

Alan gazing at the cup saw hot chocolate sizzling inside with little marshmallows. "Hot chocolate?! Where's ours?" Aaron asked shocked. Kenzo turned around eyeing them annoyed, "There isn't!" Alan suddenly smiled taking a little sip.

As soon as he did a sense of joy never felt before went down his throat. He stared at the mug, his eyes widened. "Hey…" he called. Kenzo glanced at him from the corner of his eye. "Mind telling me who made it?" Alan asked.

"Hun? Poseidon and Xavier did. Those two you saw before." Kenzo replied. A smile escaped Alan's lips. "What is it? Delighted?" Kenzo asked proud.

"Yeah…" Alan replied in a light, caring whisper, "Give those two my thanks and you as well king Kenzo. Thank you…" Kenzo staring back for a moment smirked,

"Heh… keep it for later when you lose against me tomorrow. I want to hear you thanks then." "Geez. Such a pesky brat!" Orion gritted. Alan grabbing the cup chanted heading upstairs, "That ain't happening~"

"We'll see…" responded Kenzo closing the door behind him.

"Really… they are one hell of rascals." Zach rolled his eyes. "Yeah… how much I wanted to drink that hot chocolate~" cried Noah. "Yeah~ me too~" cried Aigou. "Stop being so petty all the time." replied Kazuna.

"We are not like you, so don't match us with you little Kazuna." Ren pointed. "Yeah." endorsed Senri. "How lucky of you Alan." Congratulated Isa.

Coming upstairs the highschoolers including Alan caught Evan's and Haruf's sight seated on the table drinking something. "You're late." Evan looked at them.

"Haruf, Vice-captain what are you up to?" Aaron asked curiously, walking over to them. The others followed. "Hehe… those little juniors of yours bought a tray full of hot chocolates a while ago. Since then, we were waiting for you to return. Hurry up and take it." Haruf told gleefully.

"What?" asked all of them together surprised. "So they did make it for us!" cheered Aigou gazing at cups from above. "Yeah… they really did." Nagi added in slight disbelief. "Hehe… they are our juniors after all." Aaron praised.

"Come on, have one before it turns cold." advised Evan. "Hm!" the boys nodded taking the cups one by one.

"Wah~ it's so good!!" commented Senri. "Yeah… it really is." Elias endorsed as Aigou and Noah nodded. "It's delicious, right Kazuna, Zach?" Isa beamed brightly. Kazuna silently drank more while Zach smiled at his sight.

Alan gazing at them happily. "Yeah… just like this… smile forever." he thought joining in. "Hey, look Alan it's marshmallows! My favorite!" cheered Orion. "Yeah!" Alan laughed.

"Damn! They're loud!!" shouted Kenzo irritated hearing their voices from above. "The boys sighed, "Haha… don't mind them." Xavier advised. "Who knew they would this happy…" guessed Seraph. "Looks like we made the right choice." Poseidon smiled. "Yeah… we really did." Xavier endorsed alongside Helios.

"You didn't consult with me tough…" Kenzo eyed them slightly annoyed. "Sorry for that, your highness." Poseidon laughed back. "It doesn't matter. All's well that ends well…" Helios gazing at the boys who were fast asleep.

(The Next Day)

"Hurry up, Adam wake up. Or else, we'll be late!" called Cassiel wearing his shirt. "Hm~ let me sleep a little longer~" Adam lazed turning around. "Hey, don't ignore me! Get up already or else, we'll be really late!!" called Feng pulling the blanket from Ryan. "Hm…" Ryan cried.

"Here's your bat Helios and the tape is outside on the table." Poseidon told. "Yeah… thank you." Helios replied going outside. To everyone else's surprise he was pulling Ezekiel by his ear tugging him behind.

"Hehe…" Seraph chuckled awkwardly while Azazel and Heber gulped, "Even Ezekiel's voice isn't coming out! So cruel!!"

"Heh… it's such a lovely morning." commented Xavier. "It isn't vice-captain! Please wake him up!!" replied Feng distressed pulling out sheets from below Ryan.

"Come on outside you lot! How long are you going to take?" Kenzo asked from the lounge drinking his milk. "Lazy brats!" added Gabriel tying his shoes.

"You're leaving already brother?" Ines asked coming out of the other room. Gabriel eyeing him nodded, "Yeah."

Soon Christopher, Mikael, Theo, Hadi, Luka, Zac, Damian, Faris, Ebraham, Claude, Silas and all the other middle schoolers came outside.

"You're coming as well?" Kenzo asked Damian. "Yeah… the highschoolers vice-captain told us to be at the stadium with you all tomorrow." Damian replied.

Xavier coming out of the room smiled, "Mikael, can you please wake Ryan up?" Mikael looking at Theo showed a victory sign. "Of course we will." they claimed. "You have my gratitude." Xavier replied. "Make sure to drink your milk." Cassiel reminded Adam who was half eating and half asleep.

"It feels quiet at the top floor. Are they still asleep?" asked Helios peeking at the rail. "Who knows, just leave them be." Gabriel said. "Yeah… thanks to those pain the necks I wasn't able to sleep half of the whole night!" Kenzo gritted.

"Must've been hard hun…" consoled Christopher. "But, should we wake them up just in case…" asked Azazel worried. "I said leave them be didn't I?" eyed Kenzo pissed. "Yes! Your highness!!" Azazel replied back abruptly.

"Hehe…" Xavier chuckled. "And you! Don't just stand there and laugh! Eat something!" Kenzo ordered Xavier. "Oh me? I already did." Xavier replied. After a while everyone gathered at the lounge.
