Chapter 70: Toxic Water Tidal Wave

Since Tonari had already summoned Green Serpent, he decided to stop holding back. If his opponent dared to take his weapon, then he would retaliate with overwhelming force.

To him, it didn't matter that the blade wasn't his to begin with. Once it fell into his hands, it was his property.

Three dark gray serpents slithered from Tonari's sleeves, baring their fangs and darting toward Dicai.

These weren't ordinary snakes but creatures from Ryūchi Cave, enhanced by chakra and possessing far greater intelligence and strength than average snakes.

In an instant, the serpents coiled around Dicai's arms, ignoring the electrical barrier of his Lightning Chakra Mode.

Dicai struggled to break free, but Tonari was faster. With a quick step, he drove a powerful upward kick into Dicai's wrist, sending the short blade flying.

"An eye for an eye," Tonari thought with satisfaction. "He took my blade—now I'll take it back."

As the blade clattered to the ground, Dicai finally freed himself from the serpents' grip, only to be forced back by Green Serpent's looming attack from above.

Two enormous "pillars" blocking his view.

Coughing awkwardly, he realized Tsunade had caught him.

"You okay, kid?" Tsunade asked, lowering him to the ground.

Behind her, Orochimaru stood atop Green Serpent, his yellow, snake-like eyes locking onto Dodai.

Dodai froze under Orochimaru's predatory gaze.

"You've crossed a line, Dodai," Orochimaru hissed, his voice cold and threatening.
