KONOHA :THE RISE OF KAITON

Time flies, and half a year has passed since Kaiton began his rigorous training.

Near a small river in the mountains, a young boy with jet-black hair and piercing black eyes sat cross-legged, deep in concentration. Dressed in a sleek black outfit, Kaiton exuded a calm yet determined aura. In his hands were two flat, palm-sized cyan pebbles, less than half a finger thick.

The boy stared intently at the stones in his palms. Slowly, a faint blue light began to radiate from his hands. A moment later, the stones started to rise, seemingly defying gravity. However, a closer look revealed the truth—thin, visible threads of Chakra extended from his fingers, suspending the stones in the air.

With a slight twitch of his fingers, the stones floated apart: one toward a nearby tree and the other toward the river. Under Kaiton's precise control, the stone near the tree began to "climb" the trunk, while the stone by the river seemed to "run" across the water's surface.

In mere moments, the stones reached the tree's crown and the middle of the river. Kaiton smiled in satisfaction, breaking the Chakra lines. The stones fell harmlessly to the ground.

"So, this is the power of dual-focus Chakra manipulation," Kaiton mused. "Amazing! I've heard that the puppet masters of Sand Village have prodigies capable of controlling ten puppets simultaneously. I can't even imagine that level of skill!"

He sighed in admiration at the thought of such mastery.

Progress Over Half a Year

In just six months, Kaiton had made tremendous progress in his Chakra control training. His natural talent, combined with unyielding determination, had allowed him to refine his abilities to a remarkable degree.

One of his significant achievements was his Chakra capacity. Although his natural Chakra growth was limited, his enhanced physical conditioning ensured that his reserves reached the level of an average Genin. This allowed him to perform basic ninjutsu like the Transformation Technique and Substitution Technique dozens of times effortlessly. Even C-rank jutsu could now be used four to five times in succession without exhausting him.

After reaching the level of a Genin in Chakra control, Kaiton successfully learned the Shadow Clone Technique. The additional "hands" provided by his clones accelerated his training significantly. Starting with climbing trees and walking on water, he quickly advanced to running seamlessly across uneven terrain.

Next, he began experimenting with shaping Chakra into various forms. From simple shapes like stones and branches to more complex simulations like flowers and flowing water, Kaiton mastered the basics in three months. His understanding of shape manipulation reached the point where he could carve intricate designs into solid earth using Earth Release techniques.

During one training session, Kaiton even sculpted the head of a husky into an Earth-Style Wall to show off his skills.

Tenzou, his mentor in Earth Release, often recounted tales of Senju Tobirama, who could perform 12 hand seals per second. Inspired by this, Kaiton pushed himself to increase his own seal speed. After months of rigorous practice, he reached seven seals per second—a feat unmatched among his peers.

Mastering Dual-Focus Chakra Manipulation

For the last three months, Kaiton focused on mastering "dual-focus" Chakra control. To begin, he practiced drawing a circle with one hand while drawing a square with the other. This laid the foundation for controlling Chakra in each hand independently.

The process proved far more challenging than Kaiton had anticipated. Even with the help of his Shadow Clones, it took him three months to perfect the technique. Eventually, he achieved the ability to extend Chakra threads from his fingers, akin to the puppet masters of the Sand Village.

With this newfound skill, Kaiton believed he could surpass 80% of the puppet users in the Sand Village if he pursued puppetry.

Delving into Chakra Nature Transformation

After mastering Chakra control, Kaiton turned his attention to Nature Transformation. Although he was born with three Chakra natures, he chose to focus on Earth Release for now, as it was the one he was most familiar with.

Guided by Tenzou's teachings and his own observations of soil and terrain, Kaiton began exploring the essence of Earth Release.

In his understanding, the core property of Earth Release was density. Drawing from his knowledge of physics, Kaiton deduced that increasing an object's density would enhance its durability and resistance to damage.

To test this theory, Kaiton experimented with the Earth-Style Wall technique. Normally, the wall could only defend against attacks of similar rank. However, by applying Nature Transformation to increase its density, Kaiton created a wall with visibly hardened texture and significantly improved durability.

His reinforced wall could withstand up to five Great Fireball Jutsu attacks, a remarkable improvement. However, this enhancement came at a cost—Chakra consumption doubled. Kaiton could only sustain the technique twice before exhausting his reserves.

Despite the trade-off, Kaiton felt the results were worth it. Encouraged by his progress, he planned to request new Earth Release techniques from his father.

Exploring Medical Ninjutsu

With his dual-focus Chakra control perfected, Kaiton also decided to attempt medical ninjutsu. He recalled how his grandfather, Hashirama Senju, could heal injuries with remarkable efficiency.

Standing by the river, Kaiton extended a Chakra thread into the water and caught a small fish. Using a kunai, he made a small incision on the fish's body.

Gathering Chakra in his right hand, he transformed it into a green, healing light. Carefully, he applied the light to the fish's wound. Within seconds, the injury began to close and eventually disappeared.

Satisfied with his success, Kaiton released the fish back into the water.

"It took 15 seconds to heal the wound," Kaiton noted. "Not bad for my first attempt!"

Looking Ahead

As the year came to an end, Kaiton reflected on his achievements. From mastering dual-focus Chakra control to refining Earth Release techniques and delving into medical ninjutsu, he had come a long way.

"Next, I'll need to focus on offensive techniques," Kaiton thought. "With stronger Earth Release jutsu, I'll be ready for anything."

With a determined smile, Kaiton turned his gaze to the horizon, ready to face the challenges ahead.
