Chapter 4: My first encounter in the new world (chapter 4)
Morgan, upon seeing that the girl had noticed his presence and was now staring at him intently, dove at full speed, hiding in the cave where he had slept the night before.
—Oh no! I think she saw me... she saw me!
Morgan peeked out of the cave slightly to see if the girl had followed him, and indeed, that red-haired girl was at the edge of the river, watching him, waiting for something.
—Come on, I won't hurt you. Come closer, little friend.
(Said the young girl gently).
Morgan began to wonder if he should come out and show himself to her or stay hidden, as he was still shocked by what he had seen. That red-haired girl had generated fire with her hands.
—Magic? Was that magic? What kind of world did those gods reincarnate me into? Where am I?
(Said Morgan, completely confused).
—Come on, come here. I promise I won't hurt you, little friend. Just let me see you for a bit.
After thinking it over, Morgan's curiosity finally won, and he began to swim toward the surface once more. Slowly, as he got closer and closer to the surface, he could see the girl's face more clearly. She had intense yellow eyes, pale skin with freckles on her face, and somewhat messy hair.
Morgan raised his head out of the water to finally be face-to-face with her. This girl seemed quite young and was now smiling at him cheerfully.
—I knew it! I knew I had seen something in the river.
(Said the girl, very excited).
—Wow! I've never seen anyone like you. What are you?
(Said the girl, confused but quite happy).
—Ah, maybe I was wrong and saw incorrectly. She seems like an ordinary girl.
(Thought Morgan, relieved).
Morgan began to sink back into the river slowly, as he had already confirmed that the girl wasn't dangerous and that he wasn't in any immediate danger.
—Well, I guess everything's fine, and there's nothing to worry about. But now what should I do? Should I swim in the other direction, or should I stay in the cave a little longer?
(Thought Morgan as he swam back to his cave).
—Hey, wait! Wait, come here!
(Shouted the red-haired girl repeatedly).
—Hmm, I suppose I'll head back to the cave for now. Tomorrow I'll decide what to do, though with this body, I doubt I can do much, hahaha.
(Said Morgan mockingly, ignoring the girl).
Out of nowhere, Morgan felt as if someone was lifting him out of the water without touching him. He even emerged completely, but inside a sphere made of water.
—Hey, little friend, I told you to wait.
(Said the girl, a little annoyed).
—What's happening? What's happening?
(Said Morgan, scared).
—Alright, I guess I'll take you home.
(Said the red-haired girl, determined).
The young girl began walking quickly while, beside her, Morgan floated in the water sphere.
—Where is she taking me? Is this magic? Yes, it's magic!
(Said Morgan, somewhat frightened).
—Don't worry, little friend. I'll take you to my house. Maybe Mom or Dad will know what you are.
(Said the girl cheerfully).
—Oh no, they're going to eat me. They're going to eat me!
(Said Morgan, swimming in circles at full speed inside the water sphere).
After walking for a while, the girl and Morgan arrived at a house made of rough wood, humble and modest, adorned with flowers and a garden outside.
—Alright, we're here.
(Said the girl with a big smile, looking at Morgan).
—I'm doomed.
(Said Morgan, resigned).
—Mom! Dad! I'm home!
(Said the girl loudly).
