The festivities were in full swing.
A vast hall hung with magnificent huge chandeliers. There were many tables ranging from small and medium-sized to large and incredibly huge, taking up most of the hall. They were all made of the Underworld's highest quality and most abundant resource - Arachne - demonic wood.
All the heads of the Pillars with their heirs were at this event, as most of them realised that something grand was going to happen today, but few knew about it. Just one presence of the Demon Progenitor Lucifer already meant a lot.
All the Demons moved to one and the other, without exception. Only Zekram Bael stood proudly alone one step below the throne above the others. The throne's place would be taken by the former Morning Star, but he had not yet arrived.
Zekram Bael did not care about the throne, which by its mere sight made him tremble. His thoughts were only of his marriage and his week-long conversation with Lucifer.
He was replaying that conversation in his head for the umpteenth time and couldn't understand why Lucifer had so easily agreed to give him the land of Gremory, in which an Artefact of unknown power was hidden.
And It contains some sort of divine energy.....
And what he couldn't understand even more was why Venelana was so cheerful?
Acting very...submissive.
Not like her at all.
Even when they wanted to change her hair, she was more resistant than she was now when they told her to talk to her future husband alone.
Even though their conversation lasted about twenty minutes at most, at least they learnt something about each other. Her parents were 'absent' during this time, eavesdropping on their conversation using a barrier that was raised in the room. It 'read' the sound within itself, and then transmitted it to those listening.
And her genuine kind and gentle smile....
Fake...
She was clearly up to something...
But what?
She can't be stubborn in the middle of the celebration, since Zekram had taught her well what would happen if she damaged the reputation of House Bael and Zekram himself respectively...
And on top of that, there had been trouble for a week...
All the liaisons among the Inferiors had disappeared that were located near Bael's lands. It was thanks to these contacts that he had learnt how the mining of a new resource was going, which was hidden underground, not far from the Jade Mountains, which until recently had been inhabited by dragons.
Not Dragons, but dragons...
They might not have been able to fight the High Ones alone, but if they gathered in a group, the battle would not end well.
Now they're gone.
Not one...
Zekram had entrusted control of those mountains to his most loyal servant, that he would not betray him, even if he was ordered by Lucifer to fall with 'honour' in battle, he would ask Bael first, and only then would he do...
Zekram had personally tested and broken him long ago so that just the mere mention of the rebellion would restore pictures from the past when he was still Lucifer's mole...
About a hundred dragons just took off and disappeared overnight. No residual mana, no magic or spells or senjutsu were found there. Even the most unlikely scenario was checked. Had some Dragon flown in and used the Dragon Gate to teleport them? No, no dragon dwellings were found there either....
Nothing...
It was very strange, but after a few hours, Zekram stopped giving it much importance. Suddenly they just flew to another place in Hell, so what? If Zekram needed them, he would find them again and make them bow their heads...muzzle? forcefully.
Like he always did...
The most important thing now is that Lucifer doesn't find out about this new kind of...
Metal?
Zekram doesn't know, and neither do his scientists, but the fact that it reeks of powerful magic says something.
But Bael has his head in the wrong direction....
The liaisons had disappeared just as Cedric - another of his loyal Servants - had reported Erhard's death....
Wonderful news.
A great leverage if Venelana were to become stubborn.....
Saying that Erhard was killed by the Fallen and she would break down morally and not do anything stupid during the ceremony.
But it looks like she won't have to do that....
Or will she?
Zekram's thoughts were interrupted as silence instantly hung in the hall, after who had entered this hall.
Lucifer, the ruler of Hell and the Progenitor of all Demons.
He entered in his battle guise, which suited him perfectly. Black and red massive armour, which made it seem that he was broader in the shoulders and in height about twice. A calm handsome face with a cocky smile, his brown eyes glinted slightly red, giving him even more charm.
When he turned his head towards the hall, everyone fell to their knees and bowed unquestioningly.
- I think we can start the celebration! - Lucifer said loudly.
***
An indeterminate amount of time before. The banquet hall.
- Lord Fenex and his beautiful companion, good evening. I am pleased to welcome you to the event in honour of my son's wedding,' Zerach Gremory, Zeotikus's father, said with a calm face and a slight bow of his head in greeting.(I don't have that Gremory family tradition in my work, where all names end in "s")
A man with long red hair tied into an elastic band at the back and a small beard of the same colour adorned his stern but handsome face.
- Good evening, Lord Gremory,' Raychem Fenex bowed his head slightly, an incredibly charming man with long blonde hair, orange eyes to match his bloodline ability, and a handsome face, 'I'm glad you decided to notify us of such a significant event in the first place, and not when Bael sent the invitation.
Reichem paid no attention to the fact that he did not address his companion by name. And rightly so, why would he greet some pathetic whore from a side branch...''
Reichem immediately discarded the unnecessary officiousness and escorted his incredibly sexy blonde companion into the company of other ladies with a light slap on her soft bottom, to which she smiled playfully and, swaying her gorgeous hips, went away.
- She shouldn't have done that. When we get back, I'll give her such a marathon that the bitch will remain faithful only to Fenex's cock for my descendants,' Reichem thought aloud to his old friend.
- Bael is planning something again. He is almost openly coming to my lands and doing as he pleases,' Zerah said in a cold tone, ignoring Reichem's familiarity.
- War is coming, my friend, and he needs to get his hands on what's in your possession sooner rather than later,' Reichem said nonchalantly, picking up a snack from the table.
- I don't think we should discuss Everything here,' Zerach emphasised the last words, not taking either the snacks or the drink.
- Are you serious? Look at this,' he nodded towards the company of Highs and then to the other, "All the Pillars of Hell are here, a perfect opportunity to talk to both enemies and allies, so I'm more sure of not being overheard here than I am at home," Reichem grinned at his friend's reaction.
And Zerach was as calm as a rock.
- Will the Buche clan be performing? - Zerach asked, looking at Reichem, who instantly grew serious.
- Yes, they will attack the eastern forts. Forney, Furkas and Vepar will go along the river, attacking the northern forts,' Reichem said, swirling his glass in his hand.
- You don't think they will be able to breach the defences, even with their combined forces, do you? - Zerach asked doubtfully.
- During the battle of Lucifer-sama he will not be busy defending his castle. Besides, I've enlisted a group of fallen renegades for the attack, and they'll divert most of the attack's attention to themselves, so the problem of putting everything on their heads will go well. But plans can change at any time,' Reichem hinted and spoke to his friend, who made sure that the plan was now, conventionally, carried out to completion.
- I'm aware of that. Good,' Zerach sighed and only then decided to take a drink, taking a glass of wine from the table.
- What about his son? - It was Reichem's turn to ask.
- Dead,' Zerach answered briefly.
- What if it's not the 'official' version? - Reichem asked sarcastically, as this 'official' information was not and most likely would not be, but the intelligence of the other clans would answer the unspoken questions.
- Wandering somewhere in the human world,' Zerach replied again, taking another sip from his glass.
- And who would give a teenager a pass in wartime? - Reichem asked mockingly, knowing that the information his friend had received was complete nonsense.
- Mephisto.... possible.
Conversations continued in the hall, for no one had heard the conversation between the two Highest. And the mention of one of the most powerful Demons at the moment only aggravates Raichem and Zerach.
- Where is he now? - Reichem asked, as if becoming even more serious.
- Unknown,' Zerach replied calmly.
- Not good,' Reichem said shortly and clearly, 'If Mephisto decides to make a move, we won't be able to pull him out.
- Yes, I'm already on his trail, but I can't guarantee that Mephisto is involved.
- Okay, but you don't want to take any chances.
- I wasn't going to.
- 'Good,' Reichem stretched, his luxurious yellow robes not wrinkling once after the 'charge'.
- What about the others? - Zerach asked.
- That's what I wanted to ask you,' Reichem said with a questioning look.
- So you didn't find out anything.
- I found out who's going to attack our lands, but I don't think it's worth it....
- You did the right thing, because if you thought I was going to help you, then.....
- Come on, you don't have enough of your own strength to help me. Our vassals are weak, and they can't do anything without their commanders - us - so we'll use what we can,' Reichem interrupted him carelessly, returning the interruption.
- Abbadon decided to hook up along with allies in the form of Amon and Barbados there. I don't think such a pandemonium of demons in one place will go unnoticed, no matter how hard Zekram tries,' Zerah reasoned aloud, swirling his wine glass.
- Why don't you plug in? You could...
- Belial.
- ...
- ...
- I see,' Reichem sighed, 'Still managed to negotiate with them?
- Yes.
- What about them? - This time it was Zerach who asked the question.
- You told me so yourself.
- Weren't you going to be involved? Or else...' Zerach looked at his friend with a huff.
- I organised a rebellion at their place and got Abbadon on my side....
Both were silent for a moment.
'Not for long...
- 'Nephritho...' Reichem began, but he was interrupted.
- I don't think we should even mention this place here,' Zerah warned in a calm but threatening tone.
Reichem looked around once more.
- I'll admit, I was stupid. So, what's so interesting? - Reichem asked.
- I don't think it's anything special. Yeah, metal. Yeah, with magic. So what of it? The Belial in the mountains, you could say, are the same ones that are there as well. What everyone's fighting for...
- Belial's resources are not infinite. There's a good chance they'll be depleted in a couple of hundred years, no matter how much their leader and elders assure us.
- Will they go militarily?
- Not likely. They don't have the money or the power to make such a long journey through Hell.
The friends were silent again, each thinking about something else. But the silence was broken by Lord Fenex.
- Did you know the Satanakia were doing this?
Zerach remained silent, realising what was happening, and after a few seconds he clarified:
- One of Lucifer's Six Personal Servant Houses?
- Exactly, even though they're not the strongest of the House-Servants of Lord Lucifer, the fact that they're there means something,' Reichem crossed his arms, leaning against the table.
- And that...
- Yes,' Reichem interrupted his friend once again, 'After they leave, the other Pillars will decide to grab a piece of it. And I think we'll be the first to grab a piece of it, if all goes according to plan over there.
- Bael?
- Exactly, that's why I'm sending the Fallen there, so that Bael will be distracted by the Fallen army, thinking Azazel's on the offensive.
- You think it'll work?
- I'm not sure, but there's no other option...
Zerach sipped from his glass again, and his face looked thoughtful.
- I'm more concerned about Agares,' Zerach said after a short silence.
Reichem glanced questioningly at his friend, who immediately clarified.
- They don't get involved in anything, even though their lands don't contain any resources, and free mountains filled with resources should be their primary interest,' Zerach looked at Reichem.
Lord Fenex now adopted a thoughtful expression on his face.
- Perhaps...,' Reichem wanted to finish, but Zerach interrupted him.
- Lucifer is here,' Zerach said, and immediately put his glass down on the table and knelt, just as Reichem had done.
***
Great, everything's going according to plan. I didn't think it would be this easy.
Lelouch was now at Bael's mansion where his sister's wedding would be held today. Erhard had accomplished everything he wanted to this week and even exceeded his original plan.
He hadn't realised there would be so many dragons there. More metal endowed with magic, this place would definitely interest many of the Higher Ones. But if today everything works out the way I plan, all their efforts will be in vain....
Walking through the dark corridors of the castle, Lelouch finally came out to one of Bael's servants, whose eyes were burning red, which was very visible in the darkness.
- Where is Margarett? - Lelouch asked in an imperious tone.
- She is in the waiting room, My Lord,' replied the servant subordinate to Gias obediently.
- Good,' Lelouch stretched out a smile and headed for the room where his sister, who hates him terribly, was.
Erhard doesn't notice the paintings hanging on the walls, showing mostly pictures of Zekram and Lucifer from the campaigns. Still, he stops at one.
So that's my mum...
A beautiful woman clad in thick armour stood on the ledge of a mountain, gazing off into the distance. Her flaxen hair waved in the wind, her bright lilac eyes were full of warmth and care, as if looking directly at her child.
It was from her that I inherited her birth ability....
Looking at her, Lelouch felt a pain deep in his chest, for in his past life, although he had a mother and father, they had abandoned him and Nannali, for....
For some nonsense about a world without lies. What rubbish!
Although the feelings and emotions of his past life about his parents hadn't disappeared, but Lelouch had long ago stopped considering them as family...
After what they wanted to do.
After what they had left him for...
He had discarded it...
Therefore, Lelouch grudgingly stepped away from the picture of his body's mother in this world and went to his proud sister's room.
The door to her room was huge, indeed, like the rest of this mansion where Bael receives guests. Even if it is such an important event as a wedding. Some Pillars don't have mansions as luxurious as this one at all....
Without knocking, Lelouch entered a huge room where a beautiful girl was sprawled on a bed. A luxurious green dress with a long hemline, showing off her beautiful legs with stockings while lying down. Her short flaxen hair, which barely reached her shoulders, was sprawled across the bed, her small but firm breasts heaving in time with her breathing.
- I told you not to disturb me! - Margaret shouted angrily, not even turning to the door.
- I dare you to be so bold,' Lelouch grinned, whose voice Margarett had instantly turned to.
- E-Erhard? - Margareth, whose eyes flicked round the room as if looking for something.
- 'The alarm is off, sister,' Lelouch grinned, 'Your bodyguard is dreaming now, and the guards have already been eliminated.
Looking into Margarett's widened eyes, Lelouch realised that she didn't really want to believe him, but continued to remain silent.
- If you scream, I'll blow up the mansion,' Lelouch took out a device with a red button from his pocket, 'If you try to attack me, the same thing will happen, but only after a while. You won't have time to inform your father, because you will be detained by my subordinates. So all you have to do is listen to me now.
Lelouch was lying and telling the truth at the same time. It's true he had booby-trapped part of the mansion, but it's unlikely to blow the whole place up. The main gate, nearby buildings, maybe the main entrance and the lobby. But if the lower floors can't withstand the blast, the mansion will slowly fall...
Lelouch had prepared this in case his father didn't agree to fulfil his conditions, but with Lucifer's presence the plans changed and he decided to make his move in a slightly different way. Through Margaretta.
At the same time, I'll get something valuable and important from her in the future...
- Y-You're lying! YOU! YOU PATHETIC BUM, HOW DARE YOU EVEN COME TO THIS HOUSE ON MY SISTER'S WEDDING DAY! - angrily shouted 'Margot' (emphasis on 'a'), having recovered from the shock and analysed the situation.
I guess I didn't analyse it well....
- Anything is possible, sister,' Lelouch grinned, looking into Margarett's even angrier face.
I could use Gias on her, but...to rely on his Power alone all the time seems wrong. To take away a Demon's will just because I couldn't negotiate with her? Perhaps if it was something urgent, I would immediately use the King's Power, but right now... There's a slightly different plan....
Lelouch saw Margo begin to concentrate the demonic energy inside her, but that didn't stop him from reasoning further.
With the use of Gias, I will be able to stop the attack, but will it last forever? Every time I use the Gias, my eye starts to hurt, and only clearing it with demonic energy helps me relieve the severe pain. Is it the effect of me not awakening the second Gias? Or is it because of the concept of this world not having such power? I don't know. But even with the pain in my eye, I can continue to give orders.
- Margarett, I have a proposition for you,' Lelouch said calmly, looking at the angry and bedraggled face.
- Ha, you have? TO ME? You broke into my house and I could kill you right now, little brother,' Margarett said with sarcasm in her voice, smiling as she showed Lelouch the Power of Destruction in her left hand.
- I don't think so, sister. Just one order and my servants will attack the room, they may not be able to counter you, but they can hold you off, and when the place explodes, my troops will attack the mansion,' Lelouch said in an extremely confident and calm tone with a slight smirk.
- N-NO! You're bluffing! That's a lie! You can't raise enough troops to stand up to the Highest,' Margarett said dismissively.
- That's right, I can't,' Lelouch continued, looking into Margot's upturned face, 'But I can hold you off for a while to get Venelana.
- So you've come for her, I thought so. You're a fool if you think you can stop the wedding. Father will kill you...' Margaret said again, scornfully, with her head held up proudly, as if she were the end of him, showing her superiority.
- But I'll try to do it,' Lelouch grinned predatorily, ignoring her sister's dismissive glance, 'We haven't finished our conversation about the bargain, sister.
- You can't offer me...
- You're jealous, aren't you? - Lelouch asked, watching his sister's reaction carefully.
Margarett's face was a treasure trove of emotions.
- Wh-What? Wh-Who am I jealous of? - Margarett blushed, not thinking that anyone knew her secret. She hadn't told anyone this, after all, only a couple of times had her bodyguard noticed a strange reaction to Zeotikus, but otherwise....
- How did you know? From the Guardian? - Margarett asked coldly and aloofly, prepared to kill her insolent brother right now, because if word got out, then....
- You don't have to care who told me. I'm just offering you a deal, and then you either agree to it or you don't,' Lelouch said with the same predatory grin, and Margot thought his eyes glowed a little brighter in the darkness, making her flinch.
- What's the deal? - Margarett continued in the same tone.
- You're going to play along, it's nothing special. You want to marry Zeotikus,' Lelouch caught Margot's tender look after she said his name, but it disappeared immediately.
- I will disrupt the wedding by challenging Zeotikus to a duel, and after I defeat him, you will ask your father to forget about Venelana's marriage to Zetic,' Margot was ready to explode at the nickname of her lover, "Also, I want you to open an emergency exit at the back of the mansion so that I and Venelana can leave if all goes well," Lelouch explained with the same face, watching Margot's reaction.
- You can get out of the hall, why do you need an emergency exit? - Narrowing her eyes, Margarett asked in a cold tone.
- 'Don't be silly, sister. We both know that there is a barrier in the hall that blocks Demon teleportation,' Lelouch grinned.
But not the Dragons...
Besides, there's not only a teleportation-suppressing barrier, there's also a sound barrier that records the sounds of conversations in certain areas. I have to admit, the House of Bael has some pretty good barrier makers. I only saw it with the help of Gias, who in this world is now able to distinguish between types of energy.
- If I refuse, it'll still go the way you say, only you'll take Venelana by force,' Margarett smiled slightly contemptuously.
- Not exactly. I told you before, there's a bomb planted in the building that's infused with my mana. If the mansion explodes, it will damage the reputation of House Bael, who failed to protect their own mansion during the wedding. Gremory, for that matter, as well as the rest of the guests will not want to do more business with those who are unable to keep their word. Because of this, it will take time for our father to establish or subdue the smaller houses. Maybe a year, maybe two, maybe a dozen, but you want Zeotikus now, don't you? - Lelouch grinned, looking at the rounded eyes of Margot, who had realised everything after the explanation.
- So you'll either fulfil my conditions, or you'll have to lock yourself in Ba's castle for another year... - Lelouch didn't finish as he was interrupted.
- I...agree. Don't blow up the mansion, please, - Margot said in a naively neutral tone, and judging by her brother's confident tone, she realised that he wasn't bluffing.
- All right. We have a deal, sister,' Lelouch grinned, feeling the Blood Pact scroll go up in flames.
- You...you...YOU!!! WHAT DID YOU DO, YOU PLEBEIAN???? !!!!! - angrily exclaimed Margarett, around whom an Aura of Power of Destruction erupted, circling around her.
'She's weaker than Venelana...'
- I'm sorry,' Lelouch heard his servant's voice over the circle of communication, "But I don't have time to explain anymore," Lelouch grinned, 'It's just that from this day forward, you are my informant, the future Lady Gremory.
Without hiding his feral grin, Lelouch commanded:
- Obey!
***
- It is my pleasure to welcome you all to this banquet. Many of you probably already know me, but I'll introduce myself. My name is Zeoticus Gremory and I am the next heir to House Gremory. Today an alliance will be made between Gremory and Bael, to be cemented by common marriage. I present to you, my wife, Venelana Bael, the future Venelana Gremory,' Zeoticus said as he stood on a small bridge, not far from Lucifer's throne, waving his left hand towards the curtains where Venelana was emerging from.
Ever since her conversation with Zeoticus, where she had once again become convinced that the Gremory heir had already gone mad for her in such a short time. Venelana was enchanting in her black dress that showed off her perfectly sized assets. And her smooth left leg occasionally showed when she walked at the low neckline of the dress.
Lucifer had to admit that although she was the daughter of the Demon who hated him the most, she was sexy as hell. The former Morning Star wished he could have her for himself, pull the thin ropes holding the dress together from her delicate shoulders, touch her round big firm breasts and take her right there....
But Lucifer immediately drives away such thoughts, he has better girls in his harem, who are not sixteen-year-old girls. But this girl was attracted to his gaze by something, there was something about her that was so...intoxicating.....
She is like Lucifer, who saw very young girls, ready to immediately swear allegiance and throw themselves into bed with him.
But the young beauty's heart is already occupied by a young man who is heading straight here.....
The barriers to the Pillars here are impressive indeed, but to Lucifer, they're nothing. Thanks to the Dark Core that he absorbed when he fell, he was able to see almost every kind of energy except divine energy, as well as the souls of every being in this world.
And now the most interesting part would begin....
The thing for which he had decided to visit this place, in which his baby Demons decide their little 'affairs'.
After all, what kind of father am I if I don't let my children go on without my supervision. Hopefully, while I'm here, Beelzebub and the others aren't wasting any time....
He's coming.
And the show will begin.
Lucifer is sure of it.
- Lord Gremory, my father, and Lord Bael, my future father-in-law, have signed a marriage contract for the union of Gremory and Bael. This union will start a new history for the next generation of Demons. And our descendants will continue it,' Zeotikus smiled, looking at the matchless treasure in the person of Venelana, who obediently stands aside and looks at the Demons with a bright smile.
- 'Before sealing our bonds with marriage, as per tradition, I must ask if anyone is against my marriage? - With a slight challenge looking at the other heirs of the Demon house that arrived a little earlier than their parents.
But no one made a single sound....
And only Zeotikus happily wanted to proclaim the beginning of the banquet, as the door burst in...who?
- I'm against it! - appeared in the huge doors of the banquet a handsome looking Demon, with black hair and lilac eyes.
He started walking calmly and confidently, not looking at the other Demons that gaped at his presence.
Lelouch was dressed in modest but elegant robes. A white shirt with puffed sleeves with the same colour bow, a purple jacket with two buttons and red piping along the sleeves. A slight smile played across his face, and his gaze is fixed only on Zeotikus.
For a moment, Lucifer notices the demonkin's left eye flashing red with some familiar pattern...
The realisation comes to Lucifer instantly...
He holds back all his stamina and willpower to keep from trembling with fear and laughing with excitement...
It's back...
It came back...
Once upon a time, Father showed his first and most beloved son a snippet of the past. In the Hall of Memories, almost all the events of this world were preserved. How was it created? By whom? When? All the answers were there. Only Lucifer went in there, except for Father. Now that he had fallen, perhaps He passed this ancient knowledge on to His more 'obedient' son Michael.
In the Chertoge, Lucifer saw things unimaginable to the real world.....
A city...
A huge city...
A civilisation spread over almost the entire globe, which back in those days was a huge island with portals around it, leading to some dimensions.
And in this city lived...
Gods...perhaps it would be more correct to say it like that....
Every inhabitant there was equal in power to the Gods of today. Absolutely anyone could beat the same old man Odin with a stick, which even Lucifer could not immediately cope with....
Because of his artefact, of course, so this old man was no match for me....
And among those 'residents' was his father.
But he was at the top, one of the strongest beings, a member of the Council of the Beneficent Gods. That's what they called themselves...
They protected this world from the Dark Gods, or Ancient beings from another world, who trivially wanted to take over all the worlds of the Universe and reshape the universe to their liking.
They didn't know exactly what these beings were.....
And when they came again, everything changed...
When the Enemies created this.
The creature, which looked like a normal human and had no energy whatsoever, revealed its eyes in the shape of open bird wings and said:
- Disappear!
The city disappeared as if it never existed at all.....
A civilisation of millions of people with the power of the Gods disappeared without a trace with just one word from that young man....
But not the Beneficent Gods and their armies...
It came along with the Dark Gods, who had prepared a flawless speech about taking over the entire world, reshaping the Universe, but...
It was killing them...
In a word, looking only with its eyes....
There was no magic emanating from those eyes...
It was as if...
An unusual pattern in the eye and that's all, but...
It reeked of Destruction.
Chaos.
Death.
The battle between the Ancients and this one lasted months, maybe years, decades, no one counted....
With just a glance at some place, It could teleport instantly and again with a single word:
- Die!
Finish it off.
But there is no such thing as invulnerable, and Ono was no exception, so, having worked out the right strategy, together they were able to defeat him....
But only the Father survived.
the future God of the Bible.
The others sealed the gates of the Dark Gods forever before dying, leaving only Father to build a new world...
It was sealed somewhere in the bowels of the Earth - in what was left of it. The Eyes were gouged out and forever forgotten in oblivion....
But those Eyes would reappear in this world...
The King's Power...
That's what the people who received this ability called this Power.
Lucifer doesn't remember how many people were going to change the world and become Kings....
And each time, he personally visited them on his father's orders.
And killed them.
But what was strange was that in the eyes of the people, they had lost most of their Power...
They weren't able to make mountains and oceans disappear with a single word.....
Therefore, these people only had the pitiful echoes of the once Destructive True Power....
But now...
Just for a moment, having seen it...
The time of world revolution has come. How this world will change, after the death of my Father, which serves as a balance, unfortunately, I will not see...
Lucifer could barely contain himself from throwing himself into insane laughter....
Erhard Bael - Lelouch of Britain, will you become the New Star, the Hope, the God? Or will you continue on the path of Destruction...?
Or will you...
Will you be both?
***
And here I am, it's time to execute the final part of the plan.
Lelouch slowly looked around at every Demon in the room, and they were all in obvious shock...
Judging by the reactions, the 'official' version of my disappearance was death. That's what I thought. But if that's really the case, knowing Venelana, she would resist the marriage with all her might. They didn't tell you? Will they tell me after the wedding? Sounds like another one of my father's plans.
There's Gremory standing there, and next to him is what appears to be Fenex? Looks like it. He's smirking, but he's eyeing me warily. I'm not sure if he knew about my temporary absence from Hell, because he had to gather information on Bael for his operations. Most of Bael's top clan members are here, too. Disdainful glances, which I see as a threat. You're thinking along the right lines, old boys. You can look at me all you want, I've been through worse. Still.
You're pathetic rubbish.
Agares, Belial, Sitri, Buche, even Lucifug and the rest of the Servants from other houses subordinate to Lucifer personally are at his throne...
The former Emperor decided to look at Lucifer. He activated his Gias for a moment and immediately switched it off.
Just as I thought, this is no ordinary demonic energy. It's...magic? It's very similar, but it's not the same. It's like magic and manna combined. Interesting. Even subjugating it at once with Gias wouldn't work, it would take a long time.
As he walked a little further down the red carpet leading straight to the centre of the ceremony, he saw her...
Her eyes rounded, whether from happiness or shock, with tears already starting to well up in them. A beautiful black dress, tight around her perfect waist, one of her delicate legs showing from behind the dress and trembling slightly, wanting to rush faster than her mistress...
The graceful face, adorned with light make-up, shows in full glory her confused face...
- E-Erhard? - Venelana whispered faintly, but Lelouch heard her anyway.
- Yes, sister. I am here,' Lelouch replies with a smile. How he longed to see her!
- B-Brother!' Venelana repeats, as if still in disbelief, clasping her hands on her tantalising breasts.
- What are you doing here, Erhard? You voluntarily decided to leave the clan, then went to some commoner, and now you are disrupting your former sister's wedding? - Zekram said in a cold tone, looking at Lelouch.
The hall seemed to freeze at this news....
Of course. After all, the 'official' information was that I was dead, but my father didn't confirm it. Now, by saying this, he is not only stating the 'real' version, but he is also turning the others against me, including Venelana.
But Venelana doesn't hear her father's words and continues to look directly at Erhard. All the others' eyes are on him.
- Shall I chase that insolent boy away, Master? - one of the Lucifugas asked, bowing to Lucifer.
- No need,' the Lord of Hell said, 'The boy has come to defend not only his own honour, but his sister's as well. Let them have fun,' Lucifer grinned, looking only at Lelouch.
Good. Everything is going as it should so far...
- It's just another one of your lies, father, - Lelouch calmly replies, - Don't bother to talk nonsense.
- Are you questioning my words, you peasant? - Zekram does not change his face.
- Not at all, father,' Lelouch grins, emphasising a particular word that shouldn't mean anything to the native, 'But, may I ask, where is the written decree of my official banishment?
The whole hall turned its gaze to Zekram. Bael did not show any emotion on his face.
- I don't have to prove anything to you, bum. Guards, throw this lowlife out of the hall! - Zekram ordered, and a group of demons appeared at the door of the hall.
- NO! Stop! Erhar-' Venelana started to shout, but was interrupted by Lelouch.
- Don't worry, sister. All is well,' Lelouch smiled, looking at her with warm eyes, to which Venelana blushed slightly, which adorned her ruddy face. Only glancing into his confident lilac eyes, she immediately backs away.
Lelouch did not turn around to face the guards, but only when they came within two metres of him did Erhard make a single movement....
Snapped the fingers of his right hand....
The heads of the five guards immediately exploded, and blood began to gush from their bodies into the air.
Without realising their actions, the Pillars took a step back, and everyone else who stood on the small stage rounded their eyes, except Lucifer, who seemed to smile approvingly.
The concentration of my demonic energy wasn't even noticed by the Pillars. I didn't expect my control meditations to be so useful. The moment I entered the hall, all the while I was creating a shell of wind around me that would shatter or stop the attack of almost any High that would attack me.
Everyone was already so shocked that they couldn't hide the state of their faces. Only a few noticed the faint residual effects of the demonic energy.
- Amazing control,' whispered one of the Pillars, and those who heard him immediately turned to him, 'So good at controlling his mana with so much energy in his body. He's a genius!
- Someone noticed after all...' Lelouch thought a little frustrated.
The others just looked at one Demon and the other in bewilderment, as if searching for any other answers.
- And Bael wanted to ruin such talent? This guy might be better than Zeotikus, the genius of a generation, but what about a hundred years from now? Two hundred? Three hundred? Either Zekram is afraid of his own son, or he is a real fool who throws away his child, which could lead not only House Bael, but the whole Hell to greatness, - Reichem reasoned, already thinking about what to do with the young Demon, - Maybe one of my whores to give him as a wife?
- If Erhard defeats my son today, his influence, as well as his popularity, will increase. There's an option for someone from the Pillars to act immediately after the banquet, or there won't be a chance to kill him next time. It remains to be seen how Mr Lucifer will react to this. If he himself was interested in it, and someone kills him right after closing, then there will be trouble. Huge trouble,' Zerach thought to himself, keeping his gaze on Lelouch, but occasionally shifting it to his son, who stood frowning.
- How did his brother do it? Mana manipulation had always been difficult for him because of the sheer volume of energy. He had always hated meditation and wanted to develop quickly by fighting to the death, but he couldn't control it well. He sat and meditated, overcoming his principles and desires for my sake? - The heart of the young sexy beauty, whose face gradually began to become a match for Lelouch's robes.
The other Demons pondered at the expense of their influence and power to decide whether to dictate terms to the boy, or not. Put his daughters in his bed to manipulate him? How would that turn out? And another thing...
- According to tradition, if I am against marriage, I have the right to dictate my terms in case of victory,' Lelouch began, drawing the audience's attention to himself, 'So in case of defeat, the opponent must fulfil three of my conditions.
- What are they? - Zeotikus asked coldly, already knowing the answer.
- You will refuse to marry Venelana,' Lelouch said bluntly, looking at Venelana, whose face was red but oozing with happiness.
- Good,' Zeotikus replied even more coldly after a pause. Not only his honour was at stake, but that of the entire House.
He also has no intention of giving away such a beautiful lady. Zeotikus had already thought of various poses for their entertainment, to subdue this girl in a way that his father's friend Reichem liked to share...
- My second condition is that the marriage contract between Gremory and Bael will be broken,' Lelouch smirked, looking at the angry looks of Zerach and Zekram who thought it would be possible to fool the boy like that.
- Before I announce the third condition, I have an announcement to make,' Lelouch looked at the Demons with his predatory gaze.
The entire hall held its breath...
There was something in his movements and voice that made you tremble ...
- I declare that from now on, I am not part of House Bael, no matter what my beloved father says,' Lelouch grinned, ignoring Zekram's scornful gaze, 'From now on, I renounce the name given to me by Bael, and I am no longer Erhard Bael. Henceforth, I, Lelouch Lamperouge, announce the creation of a new family - House Lamperouge! - Lelouch said with a feral smile, activating the Gias for a moment.
The hall now opened not only their eyes, but also their mouths....
This day will definitely be remembered by all the guests of this evening. I will personally make sure of that. Today I will show the arrogant Highs that even without the Power of the Kin, the Demon is capable of much. My deed will be recorded in history as the first telling blow to the Demons' insolent nose....
- Therefore, I, Lord Lamperouge, challenge you to a duel, Zeotikus Gremory! In the name of your House!
