Somewhere in Clan Bael's territory. A torture chamber.

- I apologise for suspecting you of treachery, Cedric,' Zekram said as they entered the interrogation room.

They were now in one of the interrogation rooms, which didn't stand out in any way except for the completely grey walls and the low ceiling. On it hung a lamp from which emanated the Light of the Angels, the Enemy of all evil races.

Black hair with a white curl that fell on his left cheek. A scar in the form of a long line is located on his right cheek. Dark brown eyes radiating the immense pain that their owner, Cedric Bael, has endured.

Cedric was wearing a bracelet, more like a collar, that suppressed the magic of demons. As all magical beings of this world know: demon magic is the most dangerous and destructive energy. You don't need to learn spells for it, you don't need to build circles of these spells in your head, you just need to imagine what you want to embody.

Some individual points of the body were tied to the chair, which was not as simple as it seemed at first glance. If the perpetrator did find a way around the suppression-collar, the chair turned those hopes into nothing. This chair reacted to absolutely any magic other than divine magic, pressing in certain parts of the body and making the pain of the criminal unbearable.

That was probably why this place was feared the most.

Because they knew they wouldn't be able to withstand it and would break....

Zekram removed the energy-suppressing collar from an exhausted and haggard Cedric, who was sitting on a chair in a grey tattered shirt and similar trousers. His eyes were completely blank until Zekram entered the cell.

- Mr Zekram, you don't need to apologise. You were doing your job to protect the House of Bael. Am I free now? - Cedric's eyes filled with life again, and there was relief in his voice.

- Yes. You are free now, Cedric. You will be given your clothes at the entrance,' Zekram said and immediately left the room.

Cedric stepped out of Bael's torture chambers and breathed in the fresh air. He was finally being released after....

How long had it been?

Cedric had felt lapses in his memory and had shared this during the interrogation. He was often subjected to mental attacks that could make him turn into a 'vegetable', so his mind would be severely damaged.

Cedric never imagined that he would be suspected of treason. His family had served House Bael since the day he was 'born', but suddenly something broke in Zekram's trust in Cedric.

Or maybe it wasn't because of me. Maybe my family had something to do with it. No, my family raised me from birth to serve Bael. And because I possess the Power of Destruction, my value as Lord Zerkam's most loyal servant immediately increased.

Cedric went to the special underground passage for servants. Those supposed Guardians at the gate are just an illusion, a distraction. The real Guardians are inside the mansion, patrolling in the shadows, and their headquarters, where all the servants live, is underground.

Counterintelligence is a completely different story. But it is not for me to know that, not yet.....

Suddenly, Cedric's head buzzed sharply. The pain was so intense that he wanted to scream, but the servant Bael was not so simple and did not allow weakness in the form of a scream to escape.

A memory hit his head...

Now he knew why there were lapses in his memory...

You are marvellous, my Lucifer. I never cease to admire you.

He has a difficult job ahead of him.

Cedric travelled to the underground catacombs where the most dangerous and powerful Demons of Bael lived. Where Bael's most ardent associates lived....

Cedric got goosebumps....

Eight months later. House Lamperouge. Interlude, Lelouch Lamperouge, head of House Lamperouge.

- Is that all, Han? - I asked my servant, who is the head of one of the houses that swore an oath to me. I only glanced furtively at his worried look, paying full attention to the papers he had brought me.

- Yes, My Lord. This is all the information I've been able to gather about Sitri and Agares. Even the Artefacts you lent me didn't help. Forgive me,' Khan bowed in an even lower bow.

I did not subjugate him to Gias, nor did I ask him to serve me like the others. His kind came to me after I had done him a favour. The most effective way is to give a little help without asking for anything in return, and they will come to you after a while if they need it. And they did...

I had to make a few trips to their enemies, a few machinations within the clan, realisation of economic problems and after some time they themselves ask to become vassals of my clan.

It is a great honour for demons whose clans are of the Middle and Lower clans to become House-Servants of any clan. Lucifer, he's got six such Houses. Capitalised. And the rest of the powerful Pillars, I'm sure they have some, but they hide them and don't show them to the public.

- It's okay. You've already got valuable information for me,' I said with a slight wave of my hand, sitting back in my huge chair in the middle of my main office, where I usually sorted through the House papers.

- Thank you, My Lord,' he stared at me expectantly, and I took note of his scruffy appearance.

The black dishevelled hair and the circles under his black eyes told me that he had worked days and nights to get the information I needed. A white shirt and black waistcoat, the standard Servant attire was slightly wrinkled, and the red lines that ran from the cheekbones of his cheeks to his chin seemed a bit blurred.

- You may as well rest. You have time until I call you in to discuss the war effort. Spend it wisely,' for I know how fun and "useful" he can be. But now that I have hinted at it, he will do my bidding and dare not disobey it.

- Thank you again, My Lord,' my Servant breathed out in relief. Did he think I would send him to do some other job? No, Han, I need you awake and fresh.

I gave him a slight nod, still not looking up from the papers Han had brought me. I heard the door to my office close, which meant he was already out.

Sighing tiredly, I tossed the papers on the desk and walked over to one of the wide, five-foot windows in my office, where there was a small table with a carafe of water. Although alcohol does not affect Demons strongly, as they are able to cleanse their bodies of it, but still I did not drink it. Just as I hadn't tried it in my previous life, I hadn't tried it in this one. I decided to turn my attention to the modest little office, of course. Ten by ten square metres, completely brown walls, made of demonic wood, which is plentiful around my lands; on the walls hang paintings of various famous personalities, including Lucifer.

One of the laws of Hell states that his portrait must be in every house and castle. Opposite my desk is a sturdy wooden door, beside which is a small chest of drawers with flowers and pictures of me and Venelana. Soon there will be pictures of the rest of my small family as well. To the left of the chest of drawers, right next to the second wide window, is a small leather sofa, on which I even slept a few times. To the right of the door are cabinets with books about Hell and the Underworld of Hades in particular. The previous owner of the body didn't know everything, but I should know the environment in which I'm going to live and thrive in order to move forward with my plan.

The same colour as the walls the floor, and a red large rug touching most of the room. Ladon's barriers are placed in the most chaotic of places, creating a sort of labyrinth in my room, the exit of which only my trusted Servants and Venelana and Roigan know the way out. Even those I have subjugated can be recruited and tear down the mind control imposed by Gias, but it will take subtle control and a lot of time, which I won't give my enemy when I arrive at my subordinate's house.

So, what about the changes in the eight months since I subjugated Albion.

Leila...

I've put her in a special house that Khan, my personal Servant, created out of his sand on my orders. But more about him later. The house is located not far from Ladon's cave, so if it suddenly turns out that the castle will be attacked again, first of all, I gave orders to the Evil Dragon that Leila should be protected, and then deal with the others. She asked me to leave her for a while, and now it's the third month and she hasn't contacted me. At her request, I buried Mike and Kira outside the house. Not with the help of any spells or by tapping into natural energy with the help of one of my personal Servants, but by myself. With a shovel. A simple human spade....

It was only recently that Gias had fully recovered from the pain. Because of this, I wore a special patch over my eye, so that I wouldn't have to glare at Gias. I had it made, as requested, about the same one I had when I was under my father's control, doing some of his assignments in Europe. Of course, I could have used Gias a month ago, but the pain in my eye got worse every time I resorted to the Force. So I decided to resort to it only as a last resort.

Kalavarner had given me my Artificial Sacred Mechanism, which I had used to survive the fight with Zeotix. The stone I stuffed the Evil Dragon into was nothing special. It was the first one I came across, so to speak. It increases the wearer's strength, and at the cost of armour, it increases the wearer's resilience. With Gias's help, I suppressed its will and sealed it in a magical stone that creates a Master-Partner bond.

Azazel paid no mind to the fact that he didn't answer the 'call' for help, which made Calavarner hate the Governor of the Fallen even more. I don't doubt her loyalty though, and as I told Venelana, I'm not going to bend all my Servants to the will of Gias. Kalavarner had been lonely for quite some time, so I gave her a new family, which she gladly accepted. But she took our 'bonding' with her a little too much, so we had to enjoy each other....

That white shirt, in which you can see all the charms of her beautiful body: perfect curves, wide hips, firm ass and protruding nipples of big soft breasts that just beckon you to grab them and-and-and-and... M-m-m-m-m-m-m... Hmm, I'm thinking wrong. My body's hormones are acting up, and no other way.....

Though that translucent shirt with no undergarments on Venelana's naked body looked just...sexy. Even though she is inferior to Kalavarner in all dimensions, but thanks to her sexiness and charisma, I wanted her then more than anything else....

The first time, everything goes fine. But my sister is a real savage, entertaining me relentlessly for several hours....

But I'm distracted from my musings by the incredibly beautiful girls. You might even say, thanks to me, women. Yes, Lelouch, it's never been like this before. I only had a goal in front of me and I had to achieve it. And now.

Have I changed since I came to this world? Definitely. How much? Very much, I think.

Khan's information - my head of the Secret Chancellery - intelligence and counterintelligence undoubtedly have important information for me. The Sitri clan and Agares have decided to join the battle for possession of the Jade Mountains. I was wondering when they would make their move. Thanks to a few of the right contacts and Han having contacted his 'ears' already, I now know this, and I have enough time to prepare everything....

As for my lands, they have expanded considerably in the meantime. After an almost continuous war with the Fallen and the Angels, many small and weak in military and economic Strength, the Pillars were on the verge of total annihilation. Therefore, I, like many, captured and subjugated these small Pillars and other clans. Thanks to Khan, built defence points, near the borders of the lands so that it was possible to give an instant sign to my Eternal Guardian, who is at the very top of the castle in a lonely tower...

I chose Khan for a reason. There are far more Middle and Lower class demons than High class demons, so we recruit our army from this 'meat'. There are uniques like Han or Kimimaro who have the ability to surpass any Superior in strength. Plus, Han already has experience when he was the head of his own small clan.

As for Han, his ability is Black Sand, which can turn into metal, making his attack and defence techniques much more powerful. Thanks to his Power, we've created many defence points. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have been able to do such a job in such a short time.

Kimimaro Kaguya is the only and very first member of the Kaguya clan, which is a branch of the House of Nebiros, one of the House-Servants of Lucifer. One might even say, an experiment of the current head of the Clan. A rather successful one, I must say. His ability to control the bones not only in his own body, but also in someone else's! A killer ability for a melee Demon, making him one of the strongest Knights in the future.

Kimimaro escaped from the lab and might have died all alone in the forest if I hadn't been there. Not by pure chance, of course. I helped him, you might say, showed him new colours of life, and he swore loyalty to me. I didn't even think about it, it just happened, but I didn't regret it. I didn't even think about it at first, I had other one-time plans for him, but it happened. He trained every day and his Strength increased at an incredible rate every day. Sure, he wouldn't win a one-on-one fight with the Dragon, but he would make the reptile pant for sure. Even though Kaguya can't break Han's sand defence, which even Venelana with the Power of Destruction can barely destroy, I'm sure his limit won't come soon enough. And he can give the High Ones a good thrashing too...

Anyway, I've got some loyal and strong companions. My new family.

After a sip of water, I sank back into the spacious work chair and continued to think.

Those Inferiors that I subdued with the help of Gias, sent to work in the caves of Ladon, where they mine such a precious metal, which I have not yet given a name to. That's why I call it magical ore. A very useful ore...

When processed, it can be used when absorbed during meditation, due to which you can greatly increase your reserves of demonic energy. Of course, control will be a problem if you constantly absorb these stones, but I have already distributed a special rate of 'consumption' of ore. Therefore, there shouldn't be any problems with control.

For example, due to this, Roigan can at least now compare to many Dragons and even Venelana in Strength. About three hundred milligrams of ore is needed to increase the volume of his energy by one and a half times. And that's enough for the next 30-40 years for sure! After the time limit has passed, you can absorb again without consequences. But these are just my calculations so far, but what will actually happen is worth waiting for.....

But that's only with processing! And to process a few hundred milligrams of such metal takes about a few weeks, because it requires perfect control.

And that's what the Inferiors do, since they have small mana reserves, they have much easier control than the rest of us. Of course, with Gias' help, I can also process this ore, but I don't want to spend twenty-four hours a day just ordering Gias around: 'Process!'. My Gias, evolved through demonic energy. At least that's what I think for now. All I have to do is mentally visualise what I want to see and embody the order with my Gias.

Though I did process this metal, it was for Venelana and Roigan's sake. Kimimaro and Han I'm going to give it to later. Besides, I want to sell it on the Black Market and preferably not only among humans...

But only it will necessarily be raw...

I'm not going to give everyone the secrets of the processed ore. Let them figure it out for themselves. That, by the way, is what I taught the Inferiors when I sent them to work in the mines. My Gias can see the structures of all the magic in this world.

Ladon is a Dragon, so every time his energy runs out, he can absorb unprocessed stones. The process is unknown to me, but I have personally verified that they do not harm the Dragon. Because of this, he can maintain barriers across my lands until the resources from the Jade Mountains are depleted.

And they won't be depleted for several thousand years. At the very least.

Now, about Roigan. I didn't subdue her because I didn't see the need. She's a smart, beautiful, strong and, most importantly, determined girl. In the future she will make an excellent head of her Clan, and luckily I was able to convince her that she will definitely get her revenge, but not now. Abbadon has strong allies and 'protectors' in the form of Fenex. So confronting her now would only make things worse for us.

As she told me about her Rift ability, it's simple. Rift is Belphegor's ancestral ability, she can create portals from one to five kilometres away, if she can see, of course. Her great grandfather, the very first Demon Belphegor that Lucifer created, was able to use these rifts to absorb the mana of the enemy and transfer it to himself, making him a very powerful Demon. One of the strongest, without exaggeration, in Hell. His sons and descendants could create Rifts but without absorbing mana, so when Roygan was able to do so, she was immediately recognised as the genius of the clan.

When she takes a Rift ability on an enemy's body, everything inside the Demon shrinks and prevents it from breaking free, causing the Demon to lose control of a limb or even the body if the Rift covers the entire body. She spends twenty-four hours a day at the training facility to get even stronger. Fortunately, revenge isn't all she thinks about. One night after training, she came to my lonely bed and warmed it up for a one-night stand....

No, there was no sex, but I reckon she was just lonely. She admitted it herself the morning after, and when I once again told her about her new family in the form of me and Dom Lamperouge, she must have decided something in her head and warmed up to everyone. And after a few weeks in my castle, she decided to start getting to know the various servants: Han, Kimimaro, Kairyu, Takeru, and the others. And then she started to get to know Venelana as well. But I have to admit, I sometimes get a little tense when Roigan and Venelana look at each other when one of them talks to me. Sometimes it gives me the creeps. And these feminine quips I don't understand.

What about making your Kin official or not? Not yet. I'll definitely do it in the future when it suits me, but not now. But that won't happen very soon. Hopefully...

If I were to make my Rod official, I would have to document many things that I would like to keep to myself. Of course, you could also hide their origins, like many other things, but it would be very suspicious that a newly emerged House represents a real Power.

Plus, I'd have to write about my income. This is quite a sore subject for my House....

No, of course, we have plenty of money and it flows into our coffers, but all of it comes from the Upper World. People. From wizards, secret organisations, underworlds, even Kings and more. While most of the Highs get their income from the vast territories of Hell and stay out of the human world, our House is content with just the profits from the Upper World. But the upside is that with every item sold, our Clan gains influence and power.

About a month ago, our confrontation with Mephisto finally ended and we came to a common agreement - the Blood Pact - about the spheres of influence in the Upper World. Trade routes leading to and from Europe to the Middle East and on to the Slavs was the main topic of discussion, as well as the wizarding family. Of course, we'll still have skirmishes, but next time I'll come out the winner. As always...

The French Reni clan, the very first clan we made a serious trade pact with. How long did it take me to finally come to terms with Mephisto, and then start spreading influence through the Reni. Ehhh...

So the conclusion is simple: if someone closes the portals to the Upper World and demands tolls - and they definitely will when Lucifer is dead - then all my income will fly far away, but not to me.

My Venelana, on the other hand, is now busy patrolling the Jade Mountains, waiting for an attack by Abbadon or Fenex. Because she's constantly on various missions, she complains that we don't spend much time together when we socialise. First volunteered to do everything for Our House, now she's upset that we're far apart. But for the sake of fairness, I should point out that I do visit her. When I can.

But that's about to end, because we're about to launch Operation Cocytus.

Why is it called Hell's main prison? Among my servants in the House are not only Zekram's liaisons, but also Fenex's. I'm sure of it. And since I've already made a promise to Venelana not to use Gias often, it's only to my advantage. When their Lords lose, I will take them by the scruff of the neck and execute them right in the square of my castle...

It will be to my advantage if Zekram stretches the strength of his vast army to Cocytus...

Venelana is probably the strongest Demon of our House right now. She was already strong due to her Power of Destruction, but after absorbing the special 'dose' of ore that I made up, her source has become much larger, but her control is still intact.

I should warn Venelana that her 'patrol' is over, so.....

Great, she came on her own and I don't have to teleport to her.

She came to a secret door that only she and I know about and entered the office with the speed of a mountain doe.

- Lelouch! - Venelana exclaimed as soon as she appeared in the open doorway between the cabinets.

Her fine plate armour, made of Albion scales and worked on for a month, was carelessly removed and tossed aside, leaving her wearing only a grey battle dress. Apparently she hadn't even changed her clothes when she came back to me.

But even because the dress was closed, her gorgeous round breasts and hourglass-like waist could be seen from behind the black belt. The hem of the dress had been slit, seemingly by something sharp, which made her gorgeous legs, tied with black stockings, visible. Her slightly flushed face and huge violet eyes bulged at me with...lust?

- Venelana,' I said softly, looking directly at my sister who was fast approaching, "You want something..." before I could say anything, I was interrupted.

Because the chair had been moved away from the table, Venelana had no problem riding me, squirming her ass against my tool, wrapping her arms around my neck and attacking my oral cavity. I in turn took her by the hips in black stockings and started slowly, enjoying her body, moving to her soft arse, which I immediately began to knead.

She was kissing me with her tongue: greedily, wildly and continuously, not pulling away for a second. I was not satisfied with this arrangement, so I began to reflect and then attack her with mine. She only moaned harder, trying to regain the upper hand, but I wouldn't let her.

I don't know how long it took, but she backed off first. But she had awakened the beast in me with her rubbing against my cock, so I started to pull down the collar of her dress to kiss her neck. She just arched it even more and started moaning, giving it to me completely.

I decided to pamper her and do as she liked.....

- Ahhhhhhhh!!! - she moaned even harder as I bit her neck.

After a few more minutes of our games, she stared at me with a wide mischievous smile.

- It's good to see you, My Lord,' Venelana smiled even brighter. After our first sex, it was as if she had become even more submissive to me and used 'My Lord' more often. Hmm, why would she do that?

- I can see that,' I hummed, continuing to stare into her excited eyes as I continued to stroke her soft sirloin.

- I missed you so much, so I couldn't resist coming,' Venelana blushed even more than before. She put her lips to my right ear and I heard her excited whisper.

- I want to...

- What's wrong, my dear? - I asked with a grin. I think I realised where she was going with this.

- I want you to take me right here on this table and fuck me senseless! I'm insanely hungry for it! This whole month, I couldn't take it anymore...' before she could finish, she barely heard an "ouch". While I squeezed her arse and lifted her up to sit her on the table.

- Looks like someone is going to have to be punished now,' I grinned even harder as I admired the aroused, but no less beautiful, expression on Venelana's face.

- Yes, please, Master, punish the bad girl! Do it! A-A-A-H-H-H-H-H...' Venelana moaned throughout the office as I inserted my "bolt" directly into her pussy.

Didn't notice when she got...like this....

- Well, I'll fulfil a little whim of my dear little sister,' I said as I removed her dress and began our games.

- A-A-A-H-H!!! YES! HARDER, PLEASE!!! YES-A-A-A-A!!!

And our game will continue for at least several hours....

***

What did the lands of House Lamperouge originally look like on the map? It's safe to say, nothing. Almost. A small castle, part of which stands right on a mountain and vast expansive forests. At least the eastern and northern directions from the castle. There are no resources or other precious materials in those forests other than wood. That's why I left small lands in the northwest for the Volkolaks, and already near the castle I was starting to build fortifications. But about the Volkolaks later...

Of course, it would be foolish to leave the forests completely empty, so exactly where they end and continue my lands in the direction of my vassals, again began to build defence points. House Andrealfus, Balam, Andromalius, Dantalion, Berith are Pillars within my territory and directly dependent on my Kin. Officially they are completely independent, but unofficially it is quite the opposite.

I'm sure that every powerful and influential Pillar has similarly vassal Pillars that need either economic or military assistance. These Houses are very close and have been feuding for over a hundred years. Fighting over each other's resources and trade routes to reap more benefits. It's as simple as that. And thanks to me, have stopped feuding and accepted vassalage 'quietly'. If in the first centuries of the Morning Star's reign the Pillars obeyed Lucifer unconditionally and praised him as their great Father, then after a while they did it already... to a less fanatical extent.

But I couldn't let them stage a coup right behind my back. We Demons are too proud and arrogant to submit to anyone willingly. When the Pillars realised that they possessed their own Power that could surpass the abilities of many Gods, the Demons slowly began to stop fanatically praising Lucifer. I guess the former Morning Star didn't do anything about it because that was the plan. Lucifer realised that forever to rule he could not, so did not do anything when his 'children' grew up and began to be able to think.

Therefore, especially violent Demons had to subdue Giasom. To Dantalions I sent only a spy, which is already among the personal Servants of the head of the family. The only one of all the Pillars in which I did not subdue anyone with the King's Power. The Dantalions are explorers. They study absolutely everything they see. I guess it's in their nature. Many other Pillars and demons have sent their artefacts on loan to Dantalion. They study it, perhaps even improve it, and bring it back. Naturally not for free. Also, Dantalions are collectors. They keep various powerful artefacts, amulets, potions and more.

Perhaps someone will come to them in the near future.....

The influence of the Archduke is making itself felt. House Agares are the judges of criminals and the division of property of the official Houses. I'm sure over these few centuries their influence is as great as Zekram's. Only they don't show it openly, like Bael.

Will the Agares arrive before the Jade Mountains?

Dantalion will undergo total annihilation if they accept the offer of one of the Pillars, disregarding the oath of allegiance....

Aside from the son of the Head...I still have plans for that Pillar....

And now I was on my way to the Volcolacs. Wolfriders are humans who have absorbed some of the Power of the Werewolf Progenitor, but, for some reason, they are able to take on the form of a bear in addition to the form of a wolf. They are unable to control their transformation at night, so I helped them by giving them demonic energy through the Rite of Reincarnation. This Rite should have been performed at the Dark Throne under Lucifer's supervision, as the law states when we want to transform someone into a Demon. But I don't want to reveal one of the most valuable figures, in the form of Wolfhounds, right now. This Rite was performed by myself, Venelana, Roigan, Ladon, and a couple of dozen servants subordinate to Gias.

Still, it is much easier to perform the Rite at the Dark Throne, as it has a huge amount of concentrated demonic energy. I had to send all the information to everyone's brain with the help of Gias. It's not hard to do. Because of the fact that the magic of our entire race is based on desire, then I just imagined that I wanted to transmit specific knowledge. And out of joy that the Volkolaks are now in control and will not kill innocents, they swore allegiance to me. They lived in Slavic territory, and where they got the Shapeshifter Progenitor Powers there, I don't know.

The only assumption is that some descendant of the Progenitor bit a man and then mutated his body. Anyway, their tribe is about 60 people. So far. Physically, they're far superior to the Demons, if they haven't done much physical training. As for their mana, they are only able to release it in Beast Formation. And they can't control it, so they only release Aura. In human form, Volkolaks are simple humans without any energy. They can't even summon demonic energy. Probably due to the mutations in their body again.

I'm on my way to see how they live and to announce the mobilisation. They themselves have expressed a desire to live on their own in the vast wild forest, rather than near the castle walls where I suggested. As they said themselves, they are 'savages', so they are afraid to associate with civilised society for the time being.

As I approached the barrier, I felt the Volkolaks heading in my direction. They looked like ordinary people. Unremarkable in appearance, one had black hair, the other had lighter coloured hair, and remarkably, red eyes with crossed pupils resembling a plus sign.

- Oh-oh, sir, it's you! We are glad to see you! - The black-haired Volkolak bowed low, as did his partner.

- Yes, I'm glad you're all right too. How are you doing in your new place? - I began to ask them, passing through the barrier they had opened for me.

- It's fine, Master. Fresh air, peaceful surroundings, no people trying to kill us. Mm, life is a fairy tale,' the black-haired Volkolak was dreaming and telling me.

- Yes, thank you for that, Sir,' the other Volkolak bowed his head.

- I just helped you, I didn't need anything from you,' I said boldly, realising that I was lying.

- That's why, because you didn't need anything, we swore to be useful to you, not to disgrace our ancestors, - the second Volkolak continued to tell me, and I remembered how carefully and with reverence they treat the 'words' of their ancestors.

- It's up to you. I need to meet with the chief,' I turned to the main topic of conversation.

- Of course, we have already sent word to the village about your arrival. You can meet him there.

- Great,' I replied, starting to look towards their village.

I saw no fence or any other barrier. Just tepees near a huge fire with which they 'communicate' with their ancestors. I will not destroy or somehow belittle their culture, because they truly believe in 'communication'. I do not share their views, but their values and culture must be appreciated.

- Good afternoon, Master,' their chorus almost made me wince in surprise. I guess I was too immersed in thinking about their culture.

- How do you do? Glad to see you all in good health,' Volkolakov lowered his head slightly at the greeting.

Their eyes burned with devotion and happiness that I had visited them as promised. The leader of the tribe came out of the crowd towards me. He was much larger than the others, even as a man. His terrible scar running from his left eye to his right cheekbone made his fierce face look more masculine. His long black hair was tied up in a small bundle sticking out from behind the top of his head.

- Hello, Master. You wanted to see me? - bowed and asked Boris, which was the name of the former Slav.

- Hello, Boris. I did, preferably alone,' I said calmly, looking straight into his red eyes.

He gave me a slight nod, and under the gaze of the crowd we went to the main tepee, where the chief and his wife lived. There was nothing special about the furnishings inside. It was simple but cosy, like most of the houses in the village.

Sitting down beside a small table, crossing my legs and removing my cloak from underneath, I began:

- You contacted using my flyer and asked me to be here urgently. But before coming to your settlement, I still decided to check out the neighbourhood on my own. I didn't see any traces of mana, magic or other energy. So what's the urgency? - I asked, gradually building up the atmosphere.

Of course, I would have come today anyway, but just before I teleported I received a request for an immediate meeting. That's why I didn't go to them immediately, having thoroughly checked the entire forest, I didn't find any signs of disturbance, except for all sorts of demonic creatures, which are more suitable for the practice of the young generation of Volkolaks rather than a serious threat.

- Yes, Master. And for good reason,' Boris closed his eyes and started to do something.

For the first two seconds I didn't understand what was happening, but then I felt what Boris was doing... A small ball of demonic energy appeared in his hand.

- I see,' I said in a calm tone, 'But why only now?

But I was still in shock. I thought they were incapable of releasing demonic energy. And now what he showed me would completely change the lives of the Volkolaks....

- Last night, Master. It came out completely by accident during my meditation. I distinctly remember being fully aware of myself. I was thinking that now I am a Demon and I will serve for the good of my people for your Kin, and then...here...- Boris answered with a downcast head.

- You realise that this will completely change your life, don't you?

- Exactly. That's why I called you. I need your consent to teach the other Volkolaks demonic energy, - Boris began resolutely, - I know that there is a war going on. And it is not only with the Angels and the Fallen, but also between you Demons. Even our small settlement with the size of 60 demons has serious weight in the battle. You, more than anyone else, should realise that.

I was in complete agreement with Boris. Each Volkolak due to its incredible physical data, which became even greater due to demonic energy, was now worth, if not ten, then much more fighters on the battlefield. If you teach each Volkolak to control mana, they will become invaluable figures on the battlefield who can decide the outcome of the battle.

- Start training the others in your pattern. I'll have Ladon reinforce the barriers here. In the meantime, use this,' I handed the sealed sheet to Boris, "It's only a temporary barrier, but until Ladon can reach you with his Power, use it," I stood up from the floor.

- Yes, Master. But I have one more question for you. May I?

- Go ahead.

- Do we need to do this quickly, or do we need to progress at our own pace? - Boris asked completely seriously.

Fully understanding his words, I answered:

- Preferably quickly.

- I understand, - Boris nodded, and we said goodbye.

When I came out of the Volkolakov barrier I immediately teleported to the bedroom where my beloved sister was sleeping after yesterday's marathon.

We didn't have him out for hours.....

- Well, the Wolfhounds' Force awakening is taking a serious turn. Should we use them then? Or should we hold off? - I wondered aloud and entered the room with those thoughts.

***

Zekram stood near one of the trees with his eyes closed. Though his main army had gone to Lucifer's legions to fight the Angels, the head of House Bael had his own business to attend to.

With House Lamperouge.

The battle for the Jade Mountains filled with magical ore was now underway. Sitri and Agares had long ago started the battle through their vassals, and the Abbadon forces with little support from Fenex immediately retreated, as even from the combined forces, there wouldn't be enough to pull even a single army of these Pillars. Of course, Sitri and Agares sent their Demon vassals to the armies, but the outcome of the battle would not be decided by who was stronger.

It would be who would be exhausted faster.

Neither Sitri nor Agares thought that there would be any serious opponent here. Their reason for attacking was arrogance and their hubris. They thought that when they came, they would sweep away the smaller Rods and Pillars and seize the precious resource. And so they clashed at the approach of the Jade Mountains. Zekram did not know the size of Lelouch's army, nor who was in those troops. Bael had to admit that the counterintelligence of the newly emerged Rod Lamperouge was impeccable.

But Zekram knew one thing for sure...

Lelouch would win.

His whole gut was screaming that his former son would pick the exact time to attack and take out both targets at once. Bael only had a few things to be sure of before starting a new war against the Lamperouge Clan after the War of the Three Factions. The struggle for influence. Power. Information. Power.

Whoever gains enough influence in the next few decades will be the strongest and most powerful in Hell. Already, Lamperouge had subjugated several minor Pillars in such a short time. And not just the High Ones, but other Clans as well. Securing and strengthening their new trade routes for a reason. But what bothered Zekram even more was...

Lamperouge's informants.

For every action Bael took towards Lamperouge, they had a counter to it. Thanks to his intelligence, Zekram realised that something was amiss here. Lelouch leaves open only those sources of information that he allows Zekram to see.

The question is simple - who is the traitor?

Recently, Bael was firmly convinced it was Cedric, but after weeks of torture, Zekram is convinced it is not him. Then who is it? Margaret? Definitely not. She hates her brother. Margot recently begged to marry her off to Zeotikus, which Zekram agreed to, but after a while.

Bael has been practically awake for the past month, trying his best to find the source of the information leak through his trusted men. But we'll talk about traitors later, for now he'll be watching....

Now I'll find out if you're a strategist, or a genius - an ordinary boy - with incredible luck.

Zekram sent various wizards - human mercenaries, fallen, demons - the usual rubbish nobody needs.

But along with them he sent some of his personal guard, each Demon equal to a hundred fighters on the battlefield. Zekram personally trained everyone in his personal legion, so they wouldn't have to wipe up after their servants unnecessarily. Bael sent them to the western forts of Lamperouge, as they were one of the most vulnerable points of defence. The battle there moves quickly. The destruction of the first fortification, the passage of troops a little to the east and that's it. The main defence point is completely surrounded.

Zekram has been watching with his demonic owl - a familiar - for his troops. They had already passed through the river and no one had attacked them. No action from the enemy.

Relying on a newly built outpost? You think it'll hold? It doesn't matter. You're nothing but a foolish boy.

Zekram's thoughts were interrupted by a deafening roar that reached Bael. And he was standing a hundred kilometres away from the troops...

It was the Dragon's roar...

And he saw with the help of his familiars a Dragon with white scales...

whom all Gods fear...

Albion Guibert, the White Dragon Emperor?! What's he doing there?

Zekram watched Albion rapidly descend in altitude towards the army. Some decided to put up defensive barriers, preparing for an attack...

Fools!

- Gave! Get out of there! Now! - Zekram has activated the social circle.

- A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-AH! - came the anguished cry of a loyal member of his personal guard. He didn't have time...

Zekram's Familiar was burned to the ground in blue Dragon Flame. His Aura and Flame swept away everything in its path, crushing absolutely everyone without exception. It was as easy for the White Dragon Emperor to deal with them as waving his paw slightly.

Zekram's army didn't stand a chance.

From where?! What was he doing there? Is there a lair nearby? Were those Jade Mountain dragons Albion's subordinates?! Abyss!

But still, something else stopped Bael....

A new Dragon Roar that shook the heavens for a moment resounded throughout the battle valley.

A huge pillar of flame seemed to fall from the sky directly onto the White Dragon, who roared furiously in pain.

- ALBION! DON'T JUST WALK AWAY FROM OUR FIGHT!

- I WASN'T GOING ANYWHERE! HAD TO BE DISTRACTED BY LOCAL BUGS THAT MIGHT GET IN OUR WAY, DDRAIG!

Zekramu immediately teleported out of the mountain....

He was going to have to rethink his plans...

and change them drastically...

But one thing is certain.

- Mr Bael, the target has been captured...
