Chapter 1: 1. Glory City
Beneath the towering St. Ancestral Mountain range, sunlight filtered through the gaps between the mountains, casting its glow into the deep canyons below.
Nestled in the valley stood a magnificent city.
This city, known as Glory City, was a symbol of hope for humanity.

The Snow Wind Branch Family Courtyard, Center of Glory City
A group of children played and chased one another in the courtyard, their laughter occasionally echoing through the air. However, anyone who knew them well could sense a faint undertone of sadness in their merriment.
"I wonder when the young master will recover from his injury," a chubby boy asked, his voice tinged with guilt.
"Let's hope he gets better soon," replied a dark-skinned boy. "If not, our fathers will beat us to death."
"Damn it, fatty! If you weren't so useless, none of this would've happened!" a skinny boy exclaimed, jabbing his finger accusingly at the chubby one.
"I… I'm sorry…" the chubby boy stammered, close to tears.
"Stop it!" A girl in the group interrupted them sternly. "All of this happened because of Elder Ye Xiao's kindness. We were lucky to escape calamity. Even though we're just the children of lowly servants, he showed us mercy."
"Yeah, no wonder the young master is so kind," said the dark-skinned boy. "He takes after his father, Elder Ye Xiao."
"I miss the young master," the chubby boy suddenly blurted. "How about we visit him?"
The other children quickly agreed, and they set off toward Ye Xinghan's room.
But just as they began to walk…
"STOP RIGHT THERE, YOU BRATS!"
A booming voice thundered, making the children freeze in their tracks.
""""H-h-head servant Feng!"""" they stammered, trembling in fear.
A towering figure emerged before them—a tall man with a healthy complexion, clad in a traditional brown servant's robe. A long scar stretched from the middle of his forehead to his right jaw, giving his stern expression an even more intimidating appearance.
"Where do you think you're going?" he demanded.
"We… we were going to visit the young master," one of the children replied hesitantly.
BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
"Ouch! Why did you hit us, Head Servant?!" the children cried, clutching their swollen heads.
"Haven't you caused enough trouble already? Go back to your parents, or I'll drag you there myself!"
"Y-yes, sir!" the children squeaked, scampering away as quickly as they could.
Head Servant Feng watched them disappear into the distance, a heavy sigh escaping his lips. Guilt weighed on him more than anyone else.
As a 1-star Gold Rank Fighter, Feng was more than qualified to serve as a core guard for the main family. However, he had chosen to stay with the branch family as a way to repay Elder Ye Xiao, who had saved his life many years ago. Feng had vowed to dedicate his life to repaying that debt.
Originally, he had been assigned to guard Elder Ye Xiao directly, but due to Ye Xiao's demanding business ventures, Feng was later appointed Head Servant. His role now included managing the household and training the young talents of the family.
"My subordinates' failures are my own failures," Feng lamented, his expression clouded with regret.
"It's been two weeks since the incident…" he muttered to himself.

Inside Ye Xinghan's Bedroom
Dim light seeped through the gap in the curtains, illuminating a room filled with the rich aroma of herbs. Anyone with even a little knowledge of medicine would immediately recognize that these scents came from an array of expensive and rare herbs.
On the bed lay a boy of about seven years old. His soft purple hair framed delicate, doll-like features, and his pale, tender skin gave him an almost ethereal quality. It was easy to imagine that, when grown, he would become an extraordinarily handsome man.
However, at this moment, his face was marred by a frown, his expression tense as if trapped in a nightmare.
After a while, the boy slowly opened his eyes, blinking in confusion at the unfamiliar scene around him.
"Where am I?" Ye Xinghan murmured to himself as he scanned the room.
The room's structure exuded an ancient Chinese aesthetic, with sturdy wooden walls and traditional decor. Though not overly lavish, the room had a refined and elegant charm. Medicine bowls were neatly arranged on either side of the bed, crowding the space and giving the impression of a traditional hospital.
As Ye Xinghan observed his surroundings, a sense of bewilderment overwhelmed him.
His vision felt weaker than before. Looking down at his hands, he was stunned to see that they were small, delicate, and unfamiliar. His skin was now soft and youthful.
"What… what just happened?" he whispered in shock, memories flooding back.
He vividly recalled being pursued and attacked by an Admiral and a squad of Marines.
As his consciousness had dimmed after receiving a fatal blow from the Admiral, he had expected death. Yet, inexplicably, he now found himself here, in this strange room.
"Have I transmigrated… again?" Ye Xinghan muttered, pinching himself to confirm his suspicions. The sharp pain assured him that this was no dream.
Suddenly, something rolled beside him on the bed.
It was a fruit, shaped like a pepper, its yellow surface adorned with swirling circular patterns.
"Pika-Pika no Mi?" Ye Xinghan exclaimed, his eyes widening in disbelief. He instantly recognized the fruit before him—it was the legendary Logia Devil Fruit he had sought after so desperately in his previous life. Somehow, it had transmigrated with him.
Calming himself after the initial shock, Ye Xinghan's thoughts drifted to the past.
In his previous life, he had been an ordinary man, one of countless average people on Earth. He wasn't a die-hard fan of anime or novels, but he had followed a few popular series casually. One Piece was one of them.
When he first transmigrated into the One Piece world, he had been ecstatic.
But his excitement quickly turned to dread when he realized the harsh reality—he had no cheat abilities or special system to guide him. He was an ordinary man thrown into a dangerous world.
Life in the One Piece world was like living under a sword over his head suspended by a thread, ready to drop at any moment.
Still, Ye Xinghan managed to obtain a place for himself using his modern knowledge. He became a chef for the infamous Rocks Pirates. But no amount of ingenuity could change the fact that he was weak—painfully weak.
Though he eventually managed to awaken Haki, it was the bare minimum needed to survive.
Despite his diligence and relentless training, he remained unsatisfied. Power was what he craved, and he found himself drawn to the idea of obtaining a Logia Devil Fruit—specifically, the Pika-Pika no Mi.
A Logia Devil Fruit was limited only by the user's creativity, offering nearly infinite potential. Ye Xinghan had dreamed of mastering the fruit, believing that if he could achieve the speed of light, no one would ever be able to touch him.
To obtain the Pika-Pika no Mi, he devised an elaborate scheme, pouring every resource he had into it—his savings, his connections, and even the underworld's influence that he had.
But he had made a fatal miscalculation: he underestimated the envy and greed that lurked in human hearts. Betrayal from those he trusted ultimately led to his downfall at the hands of an Admiral.
"Sigh… I was so naive," Ye Xinghan muttered with a wry smile. He had been young and reckless back then, and the incident had taught him a painful lesson about trust and ambition.
"Forget the past," he told himself firmly. "Now, it's time to adapt to this new world and figure out my next steps."
With that resolve, Ye Xinghan prepared to explore his surroundings and learn more about the life he had unexpectedly entered.
