54 Alot to do —2
"These two will do"

Leon held two manuals in his hands, both of them were level 1 spells Compatible with mana users. Leon made sure that they weren't so different from his warlock spells, so they would be easier to learn.
For example, he got one long-range attack spell called wind arrow. It was an exact replica of the wind snake arrows he had and was quite common among level 1 mages.
Then he got something called Fading Twin daggers. It was a weapon technique that created a fading effect of daggers. It worked by pulling light partials towards one and letting the other fly under the radar.

Leon like this one because it could probably be used with the lumisight Eye's illusion powers. That is, if the spell had an advanced version.
Now In total, Leon had 6 spells, four were warlock spells and two were normal mage spells.
"1000 sliver coins" the shopkeeper said to Leon with a nonchalant gaze. The kid came into the marketplace with a luxurious Japanese styled kimono, he was clearly some rich young master that didn't know the world that well.
"Hehe, Arian" Leon looked back at Arian with the side of his eyes as soon as those words left the shopkeepers mouth.
"Hm?" Arian was a bit taken aback, but after her eyes met that of Leon, she couldn't help but blush bashfully. He was trying to say that she should bargain with the shopkeeper because "bargaining" was her "specialty".
For some reason, she felt embarrassed. But she quickly shook it off and walked towards the shopkeeper from behind Leon.
"1000? What? Are these secretly legendary spells from the Duan royal family?....." Arian did her thing.
Her bargaining skills were beyond belief, even gunta had to stop and take notes. She thoroughly washed the shopkeeper and gradually brought the price down to about 200 silver coins, that was 100 silvers for each.

It was funny to watch.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
A few minutes later, Leon, accompanied by Arian and gunta , left the shop with both spells in hand.
"Where to now?" Gunta asked.
"I need to get this thing off me" Leon raised his pinky up and showed them his swollen pinky finger.
Immediately, Arian and gunta were taken aback. They had been with Leon for a while now and were only just now noticing this.....it looked really painful too, but he was acting like it was nothing.
"I think I know someone…." With a deep frown on her face, Arian declared.
Among the three of them, she was the only one that used to live in duan city and, of course, she had friends here. The original plan was to remain in hiding until she was strong enough to take on the Dlariss family, but this person was someone she trusted.
"Ahhh okay" Leon nodded his head and allowed Arian to take the lead.
They made a B line and left the market, while maintaining a close distance from Arian, they walked from alleyway to alleyway, cutting different corners until finally. They arrived in front of a door in the middle of the streets.
"Knock knock knock"
Arian knocked on the door and soon
—cllrrrrr
From beside the security window of the door, a pair of eyes stuck out and looked directly at them.
"Password" from behind the door, a young man's voice sounded.
"Open the f*cking door Jamie, it's me Arian" Arian said while looking at the pair of eyes with a level of intensity born from annoyance.
"Hmp!!!" A sneer sounded following which, The security window slammed shut, denying them entry.
However, the sound of an argument soon began echoing from behind the door and finally the door opened and a kid who looked to be about 9 years of aged opened the door and met the gaze of Arian.
"Come in" the kid didn't seem to like Arian much, but he didn't have a choice but to let her in.
.
.
.
"You came back?"
As soon as she entered the room, a voice resounded right in front of her.
There, a blonde haired young man in a wheelchair stared Arian down with eyes as calm as still water.
"Yes, but.....she's dead" Arian responded to him like as if she wasn't moved. She was clearly talking about her mother, but she wasn't moved. It was in a way, bone chilling.
"Sigh, it was bound to happen... I told you it was pointless" the blonde-haired young man then turned his wheelchair around and rolled it down a staircase for the disabled.
From outside, the place looked small, but it wasn't so from the inside. There was a medium-sized building structure attached to the house from down below.
"Let's go" Seeing the young man's head down, Arian instructed Leon and Gunta. And so they followed right behind.
,,,,,,,,,,,
"Interesting, I've never seen a living creature voluntarily put itself through such torment" the young man commented while examining Leon's pinky with a magnifying glass.
A White Snake wrapped around Leon's pinky, it didn't eat or move from its position for a month.....what kind of behavior was this? This didn't conform to anything he had seen before.
He was very much interested in examining this behavior further, after all he was a man of science and loved to study the behavior of all living things. However, it seems like it was already too late.
"It's been starving to death though, it'll probably let's go of you in a day or two" the blonde-haired man explained.
"Ah? So there's no way to remove and save it?" Leon frowned, he could remember vividly that this snake was the reason for his breakthrough into level one. Even though it didn't seem like he needed it anymore. He still wanted to know what made it tick.
"Removing it isn't the issue, it's saving it that's the issue. It requires a life-saving treasure at least. And I don't have that" the blonde-haired kid shook his head. He was also very curious about this creature and wanted to know more about it.
But unfortunately, there was nothing he could do?
"What about this?" Leon reached into his kimono and pulled out a wooden box, then he opened it. Revealing a crystalline fruit.
"This..... Will do" nodded slightly, the young man proceeded to look at Arian with some skepticism.
(Did you go and get yourself involved with one of those guys for revenge?)
The young man thought in his mind. The treasure in front of him was definitely expensive and with Leon's look, he might be some young master of a powerful family.
There was so much he didn't know, so he was a bit worried for his Sister Arian.
