ALL NOVEL 8: Boss Monster
Seeing as he had more time to train, Austin closed his status screen and continued what he was doing previously.
the sound of zombies wailing in agony was heard throughout the grassy field as Austin walked on the concrete path leading into the school.
Austin could practically walk around with his eyes closed and he would be able to see zombies and easily kill them.
Due to his strong mana control, zombies within a dozen-meter radius of him wouldn't be able to even see him before they were killed.
boom!!
Mana balls flew out into the darkness, Austin was like a well-trained sniper, each time he released a mana shot, it would easily find and land on its target within a second at an incredible speed.
While he was preparing to enter the university building,
Austin stopped in his tracks before kicking off the ground, stepping a couple of meters back!
Boom!!
a huge explosion sounded off immediately after he stepped back from his previous position, causing the ground to shatter apart and dirt to fill the air like a small sandstorm.
[Zombie King: Lvl 10]
Austin looked at the appearance of this new creature that had landed on the ground, If he hadn't jumped back he would've been turned into meat paste.
swoosh!!
a man shot was instantly released from his hand and shot toward the zombie king!
Boom!
the hit landed
ROAR!
the zombie king released an ear-piercing roar the moment it was hit.
After sending the creature back, Austin instantly got a better look at it.
it was a bulky zombie around the height of 7 feet, the 7 foot zombie wore a necklace, and its huge fits that were fan-like and like sharp claws that could pierce through the ground.
Austin immediately pulled out his sword.
with his passive gamer mind ability, he wasn't the least bit scared, instead, he was a little excited, this was the strongest monster he had found so far.
The huge zombie king stood up before rushing towards Austin.
Each of its steps was like the hammering of Thor's lightning hammer as the creature ran toward him.
Austin avoided close combat with the zombie king, its figure alone was more than enough to tell him that he wouldn't win in terms of strength.
he sidestepped and raised his sword, a blue gleam of light shone brightly on his metallic blade before it was released.
swoosh!!
a mana wave was unleashed in the form of a sharp sword blade.
Although the zombie king was strong, it still had a weakness, it was really stupid.
the zombie king ran into the attack, after being sent back one step it continued its rush toward Austin.
a huge red gash could be seen on its bulky chest as it ran toward him.
3 Mana balls manifested all around Austin before they were sent flying toward the zombie king.
each hit landed on the huge figure of the zombie king, causing it to wail in pain.
ROAR!!
the zombie king released another loud screeching roar, the power behind its roar was so strong that even the air seemed like it was vibrating.
the moment it ended its roar, the sound of zombies running could be heard all around.
"oh shit"
Austin said in shock, this zombie king had pulled over all the other zombies in this area.
Hearing the sounds of zombies running toward him, Austin could only imagine how many there were in number.
"I'm in trouble now" Austin smiled Wryly, but he kept his head up, it was getting exciting now.
Austin concentrated and swung his sword behind him, instantly beheading a zombie which was approaching him.
the swarm of zombies surrounding the area was the least of his worries, the instigator of it all still stood proudly in front of him.
boom!
a mana ball landed on the zombie king's face, causing it to bleed and scream in pain.
"I'm not done with you," Austin said while continuously slashing through the approaching zombies like they were no more than hitters to him.
The zombie king continued its rush, Each time it got close to Austin it would rage its huge water basin-sized fists and slam down at him.
boom!!
the ground all around them had long since cracked, Austin barely escaping each confrontation while also killing zombies behind him.
The battle continued for a couple more minutes, Austin looked around at the grassy field which was dyed a blood-red color and filled with the disgusting corpses of zombies.
the zombie king wasn't in any better shape, it raged tyrannically, each time it missed its attack on Austin it would immediately get sent flying back by Austin's attacks, and it was starting to lose its mind.
"it's time to finish this"
Austin thought as he watched the approaching zombie king who was already bloodied.
the more it missed its attacks on him the more the zombie king began to chaotically throw random punches in hopes of smashing the human into pieces.
Austin glanced at his raised sword, due to his continuous use of the sword it was covered in blood and seemed to be on the verge of collapsing, this wasn't a good sign.
"let's try this"
Austin raised his hand and watched as the zombie king rushed towards him once again.
his palm was outstretched and pointed toward the zombie king.
a mana ball started manifesting into his hands, with Austin's outstanding mana control level, the ball of mana became bigger and bigger until it was about the size of two heads.
The ball of mana spun around increasingly, pulling in all the air around it.
Austin's hair fluttered in the wind as he controlled the huge ball of mana, with a simple thought he released it towards the towering zombie king!
Swoosh!!
carrying a terrifying force, the ball of mana shot off toward the zombie king in what seemed like an instant, immediately appearing in front of its face within a split second.
