Marvel: I can summon heroes from League of Legends

Chapter 5. Want to Kill Me? Try It

Inside the factory, gunfire echoed frequently. Dozens of people, resembling gang members, scattered across the area in search of their target, shooting intermittently. A few men lay defeated and unconscious on the floor, some with guns, others with knives still clutched in their hands.

Their target was hiding behind one of the machines, breathing heavily. He wore a tight red suit with a mask covering half his face, two small devil-like horns on his head, and the letter "D" on his chest. It was Daredevil, but his condition was far from ideal—a bullet wound gaped in his shoulder, and blood continued to flow.

Daredevil was feeling terrible. He had learned of the gang's plans for a criminal deal and decided to interfere, but he discovered that it was a trap. As soon as he entered the building, the factory machines suddenly started up, creating a deafening noise that greatly impaired his hypersensitive ears.

Daredevil—more specifically, Matt Murdock—had lost his sight as a child due to exposure to radioactive substances, but in return, his other senses were heightened. His hearing became incredibly sharp, allowing him to navigate space, but the loud sounds created by the machines overwhelmed his ability to orient himself.

He rested a bit to regain strength and realized he had to leave. Staying here meant certain death.

Tensing every muscle, Daredevil dashed forward, trying to reach the next cover. But his hypersensitivity detected danger, and he suddenly shifted mid-air. A bullet grazed his right shoulder, sending a stream of blood, but he managed to hide behind another machine.

He didn't know who the sniper was, but it was because of him that Daredevil was in such dire straits. If it had only been the gangsters, he could have handled them despite the noise. But here, there was a sniper, a master marksman, who managed to wound him every time he moved.

The gang members, noticing movement, headed toward where Daredevil was hiding. He knew he had to act quickly and moved again. Despite his efforts, the sniper hit him again, and the bleeding worsened. Leaning against a metal wall, he tried to stop the bleeding, while the gang members closed in.

"Bam!"

At that moment, a loud sound came from the factory door, drawing everyone's attention. A hole appeared in the middle of the old steel door, and moonlight poured into the dark room.

"Hasagi!"

"Shing~" "Whoosh~"

The piercing sound of a sword and a small whirlwind of wind blades slashed through the door, storming into the factory.

"Bang!" "Aaaah!"

The broken door, caught in the whirlwind, knocked down several unlucky gang members, their bodies frozen, and only blood flowed from beneath the debris.

The whirlwind vanished, and Noah stepped into the factory, watching the terrified gangsters and their fallen comrades. He walked closer.

"Hey guys! Can't sleep? Decided to throw a pajama party?"

"Bam!"

As soon as he spoke, a bullet flew straight toward his forehead.

"Clang~"

The bullet dropped to the ground. In front of Noah's head, a green protective shield had appeared—Bone Plating—and the bullet ricocheted off it.

Noah glanced toward the source of the shot and saw a retreating figure in a black-and-white suit with a target on his forehead—Bullseye, the infamous villain from the Marvel Universe.

"Bam! Bam-bam-bam!"

Bullseye's shots were a signal, and all the gangsters started firing at Noah.

"Heh, you want to kill me? Try it."

Noah wasn't scared. Unleashing magical energy, he created a wall of wind that stopped all the bullets, leaving them suspended in the air.

Several cowardly gangsters began to flee.

"They're running pretty fast."

Noah smirked, watching their ridiculous escape attempts, then turned his attention to the remaining shooters. His hunt began.

"Guys, you've had your turn. Now it's mine!"

Noah rushed forward, swinging his bat wide. His weapon slashed through one of the shooters, leaving a deep wound. With a heavy thud, the gangster crashed into an old machine, a bleeding gash across his chest.

Finishing the strike, Noah didn't stop. Clenching his left fist, he gathered green rune energy and delivered a powerful left hook to another opponent's face. The force of the punch sent him flying into the air, while the green energy drained a bit of his life force, returning it to Noah. However, it was so insignificant that Noah barely felt any enhancement—probably due to the weakness of an ordinary human body.

"Bam-bam-bam!"

A few bullets flew toward Noah, but he kept advancing, surrounded by a whirlwind that deflected all the shots. His baseball bat gleamed in his hand.

He swung the bat, releasing bursts of wind blades that struck the shooters. He activated "Grasp of the Undying" again, and several more gangsters were lifted into the air, spinning amidst the echoing noise of the factory. Noah was turning them into victims of his unmatched skills.

In the crowd, clicks were heard—a few gangsters had pulled out grenades, yanked the pins, and threw them at Noah.

The grenades flew, but at the last moment, they were surrounded by green energy, forming a shield that contained the explosion inside. The grenades detonated dully, their fragments trapped within the barrier.

Noah lowered his hand, the rune energy dissipating. He had used the Resolve Rune's protective shield to neutralize the grenades.

"With every strike, this sword gets stronger!"

"Whoosh~"

Noah unleashed one final powerful whirlwind, sweeping away the remaining enemies. He tossed the bat into the air, looking around—besides him, no one was left standing.

"Not bad," he said.

Though Yasuo's template had given him much knowledge and battle experience, Noah was experiencing something like this for the first time in real life. In both his past and present lives, he had always been a law-abiding citizen.
