Tensura, Jura Forest

East of the Great Ameld River flowing through Jura Forest, Asura's consciousness emerged from the Chamber of Adams after meeting Adam from the Marvel Universe.

Great changes began to take place after Asura's reawakening following his short visit to the Chamber of Adams, where he came into contact with the Hybrid Mummudrai soul and received its memories. These memories were the cause of the changes he was experiencing.

Asura, or the soul shard of Adam Sinclair reincarnated in an alternate world, found that his memories of his past life were now indistinct, mere flashes of images. He lived diligently in his new life, but everything changed when he was summoned to the Cardinal World and came into contact with the Chamber of Adams, where he subsequently met the first member, Apex.

It had been a couple of months since he met Apex, and the changes he was feeling now were similar to the ones he had experienced when he was first transported to the Cardinal World through a spatial fissure, and again after he came into contact with Apex. Now, he was feeling it again.

"I'm looking forward to what I gain this time," Asura said to himself.

Asura had acquired his third unique skill: BioPhantom. The subskills of BioPhantom were:

Spirit Body Transformation: The user can switch between their material body and spiritual body.Possession: The user can attach their spiritual body to other living beings or objects and hijack control of the host.Replication: After enough time, the user can replicate the racial characteristics and skills of the host.Potential Unlock: The user can activate the full potential of the host, increasing their abilities and allowing them to obtain new skills.

"This is the third unique skill I've gained since arriving here," Asura muttered to himself.

He had gained his first unique skill after being baptized by the mana of the Cardinal World: Blade Dominion. It wasn't all that impressive at first, but it helped him survive his first month in the cruel Jura Forest, which was teeming with all kinds of monsters. Blade Dominion helped him gain proficiency with bladed weapons and allowed him to conjure blade constructs.

Although powerful, Blade Dominion could only do so much without a strong weapon. Before long, he encountered monsters that couldn't be defeated with just Blade Dominion. That was when he gained another unique skill: PsychoMorph, after meeting Apex in the Chamber of Adams.

PsychoMorph's subskills were:

Mind Interference: Control the minds of others; implant, erase, or modify thoughts and memories.Mind Force: Lift and manipulate objects with the power of your mind.Shapeshift: Mimic the form of the target at a molecular level, controlling the size and aspects of your body.Mind Vision: Gain various types of vision, such as Infrared Vision, X-Ray Vision, Electromagnetic Spectrum Vision, Telescopic Vision, and Microscopic Vision.

The unique skill PsychoMorph resembled the abilities Apex had. Now, after coming into contact with Adam from a new universe, Asura had gained another unique skill, BioPhantom, which proved his assumption that the world seemed to take into account the memories and powers of other versions of him and award him skills.

"If this pattern continues, I might be able to gain a new unique skill every time a new Adam arrives in the Chamber," Asura thought to himself.

"Let's stop daydreaming before some giant spider eats me," he warned himself.

He called upon his newly acquired unique skill, and his material human body transformed into a spiritual one.

Asura's spiritual body floated near the banks of the Great Ameld River. He tested the other abilities of BioPhantom on the nearest creature: a slime.

He possessed the body of the slime, which was minding its own business, and took control of its body. It didn't take long for him to get used to moving in a slime body. He used the other unique skill, PsychoMorph, while possessing the slime with ease, shapeshifting its jelly-like body and morphing it into his human form.

The human body he originally had and the slime's transformed body were indistinguishable from one another except for their hardness. He observed that while in his slime form, he seemed to have lost his Mind Vision. However, after shapeshifting back into his human form, he was able to use it again.

He reverted back to his slime form and transformed into a slime blade floating in the air. The synergy of his three unique skills culminated into something wonderful. The blade form he was in now afforded him unimaginable control due to his Blade Dominion. He flew through the air with finesse, making a whistling sound as he cut through the wind. He then experimented with shapeshifting the slime body into different forms. Although he could do this in his human body, it wasn't as effective due to its fixed nature. The malleable nature of the slime body allowed him to morph into any shape with ease. If he had a skill that could harden his body, the synergy of his three skills would allow him to cut down enemies in the form of a flying blade.

Asura's experimentation with his new unique skill was disrupted by another notification.

[Intrinsic skill: Absorb has been gained]

[Intrinsic skill: Dissolve has been gained]

[Intrinsic skill: Self-Regeneration has been gained]

The time Asura spent possessing the slime was only a couple of hours, but that was all it took for his unique skill, BioPhantom, to replicate the slime's abilities.

Now, he wanted to try another subskill of BioPhantom: Potential Unlock. As he used it, the slime's body began to glow as its size and mana doubled, and he heard the notification intended for the slime through Mind Interference.

[Extra Skill: Slime Mastery has been gained]

The slime gained a new extra skill because of him using Potential Unlock on it. Asura knew that before long, he would replicate the skill with his unique skill.

Asura realized that there was now another way for him to gain new skills. All he had to do was stop killing the enemies he encountered and simply possess them.
