Chapter 67: Marvel Scientist Becomes God, Ch 50.2
Ye Hai turned to Blade and asked, "Has your girlfriend been bitten by a vampire?"
Blade nodded, "Yes, but she isn't my girlfriend."
"I can help her eliminate the vampire virus from her body within a day. Do you believe that?"
"The vampire virus isn't easy to eliminate." Blade remembered Ye Hai's disturbing learning abilities in the library. Such a smart brain might actually be able to pull it off. He said, "Ye, if you can do it, please help!"
"No problem. Let's get started."
Ye Hai was always quick in action. He immediately walked back to the repair shop and, upon seeing Karen Jenson, said, "Get me a syringe; I need her blood."
"What do you want my blood for?" Karen Jenson asked.
"To help you eliminate the vampire virus in your body."
"You have a way?" Karen Jenson asked excitedly. "I was hoping to do that myself. If you can do it, I won't have to bother."
Jamal Afari snorted coldly, saying, "This guy claims he can resolve the vampire virus in a day - it's ridiculous. If it were that easy, there wouldn't be any vampires in this world."
This old man was very displeased with Ye Hai's arrogant tone, and his previously growing fondness for him had vanished, nearly making him want to kick him out. He always took a very antagonistic and meticulous stance on the vampire issue.
"I think medical means could work, but it's probably impossible to resolve it in a day," Karen Jenson also expressed her doubts about Ye Hai.
"I only need a small vial of blood from you," Ye Hai joked, "It's not too much for you ladies, since you lose some every month anyway."
"Alright." Karen Jenson was indifferent; she fetched a syringe from Blade and drew a small vial of blood from her left arm, smiling as she said, "Then I'll leave my life in your hands!"
Her carefree tone unexpectedly made Ye Hai feel a bit of fondness for her, and he said, "Don't worry; I'll return soon."
He then leaped into the air, soaring like a large bird.
"This guy flying is really enviable," Karen Jenson remarked. "He must be one of those legendary mutants."
"Yes," Blade said, looking at Karen Jenson with some concern, "I hope he can produce the serum quickly."
Jamal Afari sneered, "Let's hope he can create the serum in three days; otherwise, your girlfriend is going to turn into a vampire who bites people everywhere."
Karen Jenson was quite displeased with the old man, thinking, "This old man is truly malicious, constantly cursing me to become a vampire! How annoying."
The three of them weren't on good terms, and a moment of silence fell between them. After more than ten minutes, the sound of something cutting through the air was suddenly heard, and a figure descended.
Ye Hai was back again.
He held a vial of blue potion in his hand.
