Marvel:Nightbringer

13-Brother?

13-Brother?

When I used my abilities, a sword appeared in each of my hands.

In my right hand was a 170-centimeter-long red katana. Additionally, my entire right arm - including the katana - was covered in orange flames.

Now, I could easily control the flames. There were two reasons for this.

Firstly, my abilities had leveled up. As their levels increased, their powers grew, and I became more accustomed to them.

The second reason was a new unique ability I acquired. In fact, this was the main reason for the increase in flame control.

***Demon of Flame (passive)***

You were born of flames. Flames bow to you, and you can easily control them. Fear not the flames; command them!

*Effect:

- Absolute flame control.

This was a passive ability and had no level. So, as soon as I acquired it, my flame control increased directly.

In my left hand, I held a beautiful katana, 150 centimeters long, with a blue blade. Just like my other hand, my left arm and the katana were entirely covered in blue flames.

My first target was the fully equipped men in front of me. They were currently keeping their distance from me and shooting at me. But they forgot something.

[Wind Steps]

With a burst of wind, I appeared in front of them and swung the long katana in my right hand horizontally.

Thanks to the length of the katana, I managed to split five people in half with a single swing.

While the sharpness of the sword in my right hand didn't stand out, it had enough sharpness to effortlessly cut through normal humans.

Additionally, as the katana touched them, orange flames engulfed their bodies, and in just a second, nothing remained of their corpses.

Without wasting any time, I turned around and swung the sword in my left hand.

People trying to approach me from behind were instantly split in half. I destroyed their bodies by controlling the red flames, then vanished from where I stood to continue the slaughter.

With each kill, the smile on my face grew. It was an incredible feeling. I could never have felt this in my past life.

It was a feeling of superiority. Everyone around me was weaker than me; I was their god, I was a demon punishing them.

As I killed more, the chaos within me grew and evolved. I could feel the katana in my right hand rapidly gaining strength.

No souls or bodies were left behind of those I killed. Reincarnation was impossible for them as my blue flames consumed their souls. Healing was impossible for them as my orange flames consumed their bodies. It was as if I were erasing them from existence. There was nothing left of them.

"As I continued to kill, the crowd around me continued to attack me. It was as if their brains were washed, as if I had entered their cage and they were chickens. They mindlessly kept attacking me.

As if they could kill me...

Why aren't they still aware? Even after killing so many, they keep coming at me? Why? Aren't they aware of the power difference between us? Are they too stupid to realize that I am a god?

Even though these questions crossed my mind, I continued to kill everyone approaching me. As time passed, the foolishness of the people around me began to anger me.

"WHY!!!" I yelled and swiftly plunged the katana in my left hand into the ground.

As the katana made contact with the ground, a wave of blue flames emanated from it, spreading in all directions for fifty meters.

Everyone touched by the flame wave undoubtedly fell to the ground. Their souls were devoured by the blue flames.

But these blue flames didn't harm anything material. They didn't even cause the dust on the ground to stir. It was as if they were a gust of wind.

"WHY ARE YOU STILL ATTACKING ME!"

I yelled again and this time swiftly plunged the katana in my right hand into the ground.

Just like before, another flame wave occurred and spread in all directions. But this time, the flames weren't like the previous ones.

Wherever they passed, they consumed corpses, burned grass and trees, and destroyed huts. These flames were the opposite of the previous ones. The blue flames harmed anything non-material. The orange flames harmed anything material.

The orange flames continued to burn until there were no corpses left around me.

I looked around with a furrowed brow. It was very quiet; without the blackened trees and burnt grass, you couldn't convince anyone that there had been a massacre here.

After examining my surroundings for a few seconds, I looked seriously at the mansion in front of me.

The head of the Hammerhead family was inside, and it seemed he had no plans to come out.

"In that case, I'll go inside..." I whispered and entered the mansion with quick steps.

As soon as I entered, a large space greeted me. Unlike the rotten walls and trash outside, the inside was quite clean and the walls were sturdy.

Directly in front of me, twenty meters away, stood Hammerhead.

Looking at him, I said, "I'm surprised you didn't run away."

"You killed everyone... frankly, I didn't expect you to do that," said Hammerhead, looking at me.

"What are you? Clearly, you're a night bringer, but you have other powers as well," he added.

I thought for a few seconds, remaining silent as I pondered the answer to this question. Actually, I knew what I was. I was a hybrid. But I didn't know what I truly was.

"I'm a hybrid. A night bringer, a dawn bringer, a flame demon, and a war god. Simply put, I'm a hunter. I hunt people like you. Those who disrupt the balance and annoy me."

"I've seen many who call themselves gods. They all disappeared. Some died, some were captured by SHIELD. Let's see what happens to you," said Hammerhead and ran towards me.

I watched his approach. Clearly, he didn't believe he could kill me. He was coming at me to his death.

Canceling all my abilities except [Soul Burning Flame], I lifted my left arm and aimed it at Hammerhead.

As I did this, I saw Hammerhead close his eyes.

Blue flames burst from my hand, taking the form of a column and advancing directly towards Hammerhead.

It hit him, and as if it hadn't touched him at all, the flames continued on their path. When the flames hit the wall in front of him, they had to stop. They couldn't break through the wall because they couldn't harm anything material.

"ARGHGGHGGGG!" Hammerhead groaned.

He was resisting the blue flames. He was trying to prevent the flames from devouring his soul. But it was a futile effort. Just five seconds later, his pupils turned upside down, and Hammerhead's lifeless body fell to the ground.

I walked over to his body and hesitated between destroying it or not.

[Mission: Revenge completed, and the battle is over. Rewards will be given when the system owner moves to a calm place.]

When I moved to a calm place?....

Just as I was thinking this, a voice came from behind me. A surprised voice, although different, a voice that sounded familiar.

"Brother?"
