Marvel's Magic Master: I Have a Clone in the Harry Potter World!

Chapter 106: Chapter 106: Celestial Spirit Magic

As a magician, George didn't rely much on close combat, but he understood the importance of good defense. In any world, having a high-defense suit of armor that could be summoned in times of danger was immensely helpful.

Reflecting on it, George realized the differences between his spatial expansion magic and the Undetectable Extension Charm. Each had its strengths and weaknesses.

The Undetectable Extension Charm could create a massive space—large enough to fit an entire city. It could store not only items but also living beings. However, the medium used to anchor the expanded space had to be carried constantly. If the object was lost, the space would be lost as well.

Additionally, with a larger space, retrieving specific items might not be as convenient. Even using a Summoning Charm, items stored too far inside could take time to reach the entrance.

Another limitation was that the charm required an initial physical space. Creating a storage ring or bracelet wasn't feasible unless the object already had a hollow cavity to expand. Otherwise, wizards like Newt Scamander wouldn't need to lug around a suitcase. They'd use something more compact and discreet, like a ring or bracelet, which would also bypass customs checks.

In contrast, Requip Knight Magic, like Erza's, had its own limitations. The size of the storage space depended entirely on the user's magical prowess. Even for an S-Class mage like Erza, her storage capacity was limited, and most average mages could only store a few weapons. Moreover, living beings couldn't be stored—only inanimate objects.

However, its advantages were significant. The storage was tied to the user and couldn't be taken away by others. Items could be summoned instantly, without fear of detection or legal consequences, even in a world like Harry Potter, where personal use of the Undetectable Extension Charm was forbidden.

'Seems like I should find time to learn this magic from Erza,' George thought. However, Requip Knight Magic wasn't something available in the guild library; Erza's version was unique and wouldn't be easy to obtain.

"Adorable!" Lucy exclaimed, hearts practically glowing in her eyes as she looked at Erza's new armor. With her cute headpiece adorned with small wings, Erza was a stark contrast to the strong and commanding figure Lucy was used to. The sudden change of style melted Lucy's heart.

"It's Erza's Wind God Armor and Wind God Sword!" Happy said with gleeful anticipation. "Now, that guy is doomed!"

"What's Wind God Armor and Wind God Sword?" Lucy asked, voicing the question in George's mind.

Though Happy didn't have much strength, he had grown up in the guild and knew everyone's magic inside out.

"The Wind God Armor is a set Erza specifically designed to counter wind-element mages. It can reduce the power of wind magic by at least half when it hits her. And that Wind God Sword? It's an insanely strong wind-elemental weapon!"

"Break!" Erza shouted, slashing at the approaching tornado. A violent burst of wind magic erupted from her sword, splitting the small tornado apart instantly.

Not stopping there, Erza dashed forward, appearing before Erigor in a blink and launching a flurry of close-range attacks. Erigor raised his scythe to defend himself, but his close-combat skills were far inferior to Erza's. She relentlessly pressed him to the ground, preventing him from leveraging his aerial advantage. Every time he tried to take flight, Erza mercilessly brought him back down.

"Everyone's working so hard; I can't fall behind!" Lucy declared, seeing Erza holding her ground against Erigor while Natsu and Gray dealt with the rest of Eisenwald. With George having secured the cursed flute, Lucy felt a surge of confidence.

She drew a golden key and chanted, "Open! Gate of the Crab! Cancer!"

A blue magic circle appeared, summoning a stylish man with crab claws for hands and a pair of scissors in hand.

'Celestial Spirit Magic, huh? Not bad,' George thought with mild curiosity but no desire to learn it himself—at least not yet.

Celestial Spirit Magic wasn't weak. A strong enough spirit could turn the tide of battle, even allowing the user to win without much effort. However, George prioritized learning magic that could function across different worlds.

Celestial Spirit Magic, which relied on summoning spirits through keys, was only viable in this world. Neither Marvel nor the Harry Potter world had celestial keys or a spirit realm to tap into.

Still, the magic had merit. The essence of forging master-servant contracts to summon beings from another dimension was fascinating. If thoroughly understood, it could have far-reaching applications in the future. For now, though, George knew his current priority was survival magic. Advanced summoning could wait until he became a true magical powerhouse.

"Cancer, take them out!" Lucy commanded, pointing to several Eisenwald mages trying to retrieve the cursed flute.

"Ebi!" the celestial spirit exclaimed with his signature catchphrase, darting toward the mages.

With lightning-fast speed, Cancer deftly cut through the mages' weapons and even gave them impromptu haircuts, leaving them sporting bald patches in the shape of kappas.

"Useless fools!" Erigor bellowed, enraged at his subordinates' failure. His frustration peaked as Erza shattered his Storm Armor with the Wind God Sword. Knowing his plan was at risk of failing completely, Erigor unleashed his full power.

Unfortunately for him, George, ever the opportunist, had already sneaked around to his rear.

"Storm Smash!" Erigor roared, unleashing a barrage of wind blades that forced Erza back momentarily. Taking the chance, he soared into the air, summoning six glowing purple magic circles.

"Die! Behold my strongest attack—Emerald Gale Drill!"

Pouring half of his magic into the attack, six storms spiraled together, forming a massive green wind drill that hurtled toward Erza. Its destructive power could easily pierce through a hundred-meter-tall mountain.

"Adamantine Armor!" Erza called, activating her Requip magic once more.

Her Wind God Armor transformed into an incredibly thick, blue-and-white adamantine suit. Her Wind God Sword was replaced with two massive shields, ready to face Erigor's full might head-on.
