MEGA SLIME REBORN (LITRPG) [Under reconstruction]

The village area had some new foliage. It looked like some meteor had crashed here and formed a crater of sorts. In reality, I just absorbed the fuck out of this place.

“The dungeon should be up ahead,” I said.

Assuming it was still there. I did absorb everything there was to that dungeon.

But there weren’t any cores there. Maybe it was hiding? But I’d clearly mapped out the whole dungeon, so what?

Speaking of maps, I actually had a world map too. It only mapped the areas I traveled though. And although I had a feeling it could help me warp to any previous location, it didn’t have that functionality right now.

Then again, I only traveled to one city, so there wasn’t much to teleport to anyway.

“Just last month this place was thriving,” Zina said.

She was with us since she knew this place, or so she claimed. The two king goblins came with us and so did Josie and Sen. The rest stayed back on the road.

“Were you a villager here by any chance?”

Because in that case I was going to absorb her too. Couldn’t just leave one behind, now could we? He he.

“No, but I did know a few friends. Kind of sad how they’re all just…” she sighed.

“Condolences,” I almost felt bad. Nope, not really. Huh!

Before long we reached the cave entrance. It was smaller than I remembered.

So small in fact, even hob goblins would have had a hard time getting out, let alone king goblins.

“I’ll widen the door,” I said, liquifying my arm and absorbing parts of the earth.

None of them had so far questioned my abilities. They weren’t really shocked or surprised either. So, I guess abilities like these weren’t that rare. Meaning, I had to be careful of people as I always thought.

“Sen, Zina, stay here. Josie with me,” I said. I needed a meat shield after all.

Just about ten steps in, I saw goblins. A lot of them too… But I was damn sure I’d murdered every single one of them. These goblins were young… The dungeon can give birth to them even if there’s no monster left. I mean that made sense considering monsters were born into dungeons which started with nothing but mana. So, it was only natural the dungeon would keep on existing even without monsters and create new ones.

These goblins hardly tried to even get near us. Partly because of our two king goblins and partly because of me. They didn’t know me… yet they knew me.

Towards the very end of the floor, we found the current dungeon boss. A hobgoblin. A female one. Thinner than a typical hob, slightly taller and… well, bustier. “Those are some nice pecs,” I said, examining up close. She didn’t seem to mind. No, she was too frozen stiff to mind.

Her chest and ass were pretty shapely too. Seriously, why couldn’t humans have assets like that?

I gave her a poke and… Soft!

Maybe if I’d absorbed her, I could too?

He he he… Shut up, you’re not a woman!

Actually, I probably didn’t have a gender anymore. I mean, I was a fucking slime.

Ahem. “Take me to the core,” I said.

Begrudgingly the hob agreed. And no, their woman didn’t wear clothes either, so everything was on full display.

Goblins women are not hairy, noted!

I was taken to the room between the second and the last floor. There were some snake monsters and stuff but… but the room was very familiar. It was the room I’d emerged as a slime.

The very same.

They didn’t enter this room. No, they couldn’t enter it.

“Here?” I said, looking around. But there was no core here. So…

Also, I abruptly morphed back to my original golden slime form and almost bashed my head against the fucking ceiling.

“You alright?” Josie yelled from the outside. There was still plenty of room inside.

“Fine.”

Bestiary Dearest, care to explain?

Bestiary: Your hybrid Mega Slime Core has now been connected with the dungeon’s internal structure. When you first absorbed the black core, you absorbed the dungeon. But since you were from this dungeon, you automatically became the next core. However, due to being insignificant at the time, you could not assume command of the dungeon. You can now.

Did you just call me insignificant?

Bestiary: The abilities can be used without excessive mana as long as you’re within this room inside the dungeon. Create can be used to create floors, monsters, and obstacles. Redesign is as the name implies. Morph Helps you create new monsters from existing ones while Warp lets you warp between the dungeon floors for now. If you manage to take over other dungeons in the future, you may be able to Warp between dungeons. Merge also lets you create new monsters but might not always produce unique monsters. And finally Accelerate lets you speed up time within the dungeon.

So, I can do whatever I want here even without mana?

Bestiary: Correction: without spending excessive amounts of mana. Standing in this room allows you the benefit of doubling your MP use efficiency, however you’d you still require a lot of mana to change anything significant about the dungeon.

Then that changes nothing. My mana’s pretty low.

Bestiary. Suggestion. Use pure Manatite crystals externally as a mana source instead of absorbing them.

Huh?

Well, I guess that was worth a shot.
