In the first fight of the second round, the canon shone again. It was Shizuka and Hoshi. The prospector's daughter pulled the same trick she did with Sero, but Shizuka blew it out with a broken arm. Next came the green-haired girl's finger-slapping torture until Hoshi reached her limit. A willful phrase about it being her quirk, not her mother's, and the girl decided to use her icy side. A grand clash, and Hoshi was left standing in the arena to the cheers of the crowd, while Shizuka slid down the wall unconscious.

In the next fight, Iida and Katsumi faced off. The whole fight could be described as a game of cat and mouse. Iida tried to throw Katsumi out of the arena at speed, but his opponent was too familiar with her power and could fly on the inertia of the explosion, so he had to run away from the explosive girl flying behind him and hope that Katsumi would run out of steam faster than him. But the guy was unlucky, because of his speed Katsumi couldn't reach him and, having lost all patience, used the strongest attack - 'Howitzer Charge' and the poor guy was blown out of the arena before he could even think about it. Katsumi, even after her victory, was unable to release her stress and was looking for her next opponent with a sizzling gaze.
