Miracle Summoner

Chapter 1832: -1792- Another Yuuki?

At this moment, none of the people present noticed Rozen's arrival. Instead, they continued shouting and causing a commotion, oblivious to his presence.

Rozen didn't speak to interrupt the situation. Instead, he gently vibrated the wings on his back, ascending into the air and directing his gaze toward the center of the crowd, which had been completely obscured earlier.

In the middle of the crowd, two girls were engaged in combat.

One of them was Leafa.

Leafa wielded her longsword, her figure darting back and forth through the air like a gust of wind, attempting several times to close in, yet failing each time.

This was due to a barrage of arrows piercing through the air like bullets, continuously shooting at Leafa. She was forced to evade in a panic, and every attempt to charge forward was met with more arrows, making it impossible for her to close the gap between her and her opponent. In an instant, she was at a disadvantage.

"Leafa is actually losing?"

Although Rozen didn't know what had transpired, he was still surprised to see this scene.

Leafa's strength was undeniable. As previously mentioned, if Rozen weren't around, Leafa would likely be the strongest Sylph in the current stage of the game. She had even created an original four-hit sword skill. If she had the patience to create more, she could easily invent five-hit or even six-hit combos, further demonstrating her skill.

A player like Leafa could rank among the top five in all of ALfheim Online. To see her at a disadvantage was naturally surprising to Rozen.

"Could it be another Yuuki?"

Rozen turned his gaze to the other side of the battlefield.

There stood a slender Cait Sith girl equipped with early-game gear, wielding a longbow. She had short, water-blue hair, sharp triangular ears, and a matching tail.

"A Cait Sith archer?"

Once again, Rozen was taken aback.

After all, he had never seen a Cait Sith archer in ALO before.

Bows in ALO were notoriously difficult weapons to master.

They occupied a niche between melee weapons like spears and ranged magic in terms of range. Within a certain distance, bows could achieve accuracy through system-assisted aiming, much like magic. However, beyond that range, factors such as wind and gravity diminished their precision. Additionally, their damage output was limited, falling short of the higher hit rate, damage, and range of magic.

Typically, in ALO, bows were used by agile Sylphs wielding shortbows for harassment or support, or by physically strong Gnomes with crossbows for stationary firepower. Few other races took up bows as their main weapon.

Cait Sith, known for their sharp senses and talent for taming monsters, rarely specialized in archery. Even if they equipped a bow, it was generally used for minor disruptions.

Yet, the Cait Sith girl before them appeared to treat her bow as her primary weapon. Her longbow seemed designed specifically to enhance range. Combined with her early-game equipment, she looked every bit the novice.

However, anyone who witnessed her fight would never think of her as a beginner.

The reason was simple: her archery skills were far too advanced.

Despite facing someone like Leafa, known for her exceptional agility and speed as a Sylph, the Cait Sith girl remained composed. She continually drew arrows from her quiver, took aim, and fired with unwavering confidence.

Each arrow was nearly perfect, as though enchanted with homing magic. They flew straight toward Leafa, forcing her to dodge frantically and preventing her from closing the gap.

Such pinpoint accuracy left Leafa completely restricted, unable to move even ten meters closer to her opponent.

This level of precision was unmatched, far surpassing even magic. Though system-assisted aiming could partially explain the Cait Sith girl's success, her consistency was nothing short of astounding.

But even more remarkable was her composure. Despite Leafa's incredible speed and attempts to feint and charge, the archer remained calm and unshaken. Her rhythm never wavered as she continuously fired arrows to keep Leafa at bay.

That demeanor was the epitome of an icy, unflinching sniper. She would not falter until her target was downed from afar.

"A sniper?"

Rozen stared at the Cait Sith girl, a familiar feeling rising in his chest.

"No way…"

He muttered under his breath.

If his suspicions were correct, Rozen might already know who this Cait Sith girl was.

And if she was indeed who he thought, it was no wonder Leafa was struggling so much.

After all, the girl was a sharpshooting expert capable of hitting targets from two kilometers away with unerring accuracy. She had never once missed a shot.

Even Rozen had been caught off guard by her bullets before, nearly getting his head blown off in a seemingly unavoidable situation. In the end, he had only escaped by deflecting her bullets with his own in what could only be described as a near-cheat-level maneuver.

If her longbow had decent range, Rozen was certain that in an unrestricted duel, fewer than three players in all of ALO could get close enough to strike her with a sword. Everyone else would be turned into pincushions long before that.

Perhaps that was why she had chosen to play as a Cait Sith, gaining the race's exceptional vision to further enhance her long-range attacks.

As for factors like wind and gravity affecting arrow trajectory at long distances, they hardly posed a challenge for her.

Back in Gun Gale Online (GGO), she had already amassed countless experiences adjusting for wind and gravity during her sniper shots, achieving extraordinary levels of accuracy.

So, even if her current character appeared newly created with beginner gear, in a skill-based game like ALO, she still displayed her overwhelming prowess.

"Damn it!"

Leafa, unable to close the distance, began to look increasingly frustrated.

Several times, she had tried to abandon close-range combat in favor of casting magic, but each attempt to chant a spell was interrupted by another arrow, leaving her no opportunity to retaliate.

"Argh!"

In this state, Leafa had been hit by several arrows, her HP bar steadily dropping closer to the yellow zone.

Meanwhile, the Cait Sith girl hadn't lost even a sliver of HP. Her bar remained completely full.

Her skill was simply too impeccable, leaving Leafa with no counterplay.

"How about it?"

The Cait Sith girl nocked another arrow, aiming at Leafa as she spoke in a calm voice.

"Can I join Crimson Wing now?"

This, it seemed, was her goal.
