Mob’s yandere !?

For a long time, Kei was stunned upon registering the words Kaori spoke. Strangely she can talk so maturely which gave Kei a reality check that Kaori has indeed grown up.

But other than that fact, what made Kei astonished and confused was the reasoning she brought up. Completely discarding the cause of his mistrust in relationships.

Kei has already lost someone extremely close to him, that's why he doesn't let himself get involved with many people. He wanted to build as few connections as he could.

This is the very reason why despite living so many years in the Human Realm, Kei attached himself to only two people, and both of them were sitting on either side, currently.

Kei ignores those things which raise the possibility of hurting him. It may be his cowardness and high precautions but he has lived on this motto.

However, today for the first time someone was advising him something else to believe?

"So you are saying, I should be more open-minded about my opinion toward people?"

If not for Kaori, Kei wouldn't have minded anyone else's words, much to this extent but Kaori is someone whom he trusts. She has always looked after him, treated him kindly, and always helped at those points when he felt stuck.

If someone could have convinced him then it was only her.

"Not completely since there are many out there who just seek people to take advantage of them. But that doesn't mean you should become a stereotype and think everyone is a backstabbing bastard. If you like someone and think they can make you happy, then let yourself get indulged."

Kaori wasn't sure why she was suggesting something like this when Kei was probably talking about some other girl. Maybe she was insecure about her chances?

Sooner or later, she will be professing her love for him, and maybe at that time, Kei might reject her with the same ideology he has for the vampire girl?

But more than that, she wanted to soothe his anxiety and let him know that the world despite being a bitch was still beautiful to live in.

'Suddenly I feel a lot older…. '

Kaori sighed with a smile and she shook her head in defeat. Despite not wanting to sound old, her line of work has made her speech quite awkward.

Kei fell silent upon hearing her words. A lot was to think about and understand them accordingly. Despite not wanting to accept, Kei's heart wasn't ready to reject the things, Kaori pointed out.

Somehow he knew, he was harsh with Karen and despite knowing Kaori's feelings still pretending to be oblivion was a loser move in all rights.

He never wanted to avoid this feeling. More to it, he wants to share what he has preserved for years. He wants to be loved by someone, not because of his might or face, but just for what he is.

Almost half an hour passed in complete silence. Kaori was still holding Kei's hand fondly while studying his unchanging expression.

The slow sound of the movie which still was ongoing didn't disturb their reverie as Kei bantered to himself and realized various things, thanks to Kaori's retort.

'Ah, just screw it… '

All of a sudden, Kei intervened his finger with Kaori much to the latter's astonishment, before he spoke with a resolved tone.

"Hey, let's go somewhere. I need you to meet someone and tell you a very important decision I've taken"

Before Kaori could have gotten over the sensation she felt from the lover's hold, Kei suddenly snapped his finger before a big whirlpool covered both of them.

Kaori's eyes went wide as she realized the white glow she lost her vision to, actually contained magical energy much to her shock. But nothing could beat what she saw just on the other side of the teleportation.

"So it's you huh… "

A/N: - Pardon the tiny chapter. I wanted to take things thoroughly and explain them properly. That's why I distributed this resolving chapter separate.

As I said, Kei is anonymous. Even I myself didn't plan to do this so suddenly but as I have portrayed Kei's character, I think it's for the best.
