Chapter 10: Raised Maids.
Maid A: “My Lady, those looking after Lady Monia need a raise. Me included.” She said with a serious tone after calling her boss.
Risa: “A raise… Is she actually troublesome to take care of?” She asked with a nervous tone.
Maid A: “No, no. She is a major treat indeed.” She easily denied.
Risa: “Then what is there a need for a raise? The pay I give you all is very high, far above the average…” She expressed with a confused tone.
Maid A: “Lady Monia is too cute, far too enticing… If we don’t get paid more, we might not be able to resist taking her down at the same time…” She admitted with an embarrassed tone.
Risa: “…”
“Even though I haven’t been with her much at all, I knew that Monia was very attractive. It would seem that… I am not the only one who thinks like this. Truly, even well skilled maids, the highest quality ones that you can hire, are indirectly seduced by my beloved…” She thought with a slightly grim tone, hating that she must spend so much time away from Monia.
Risa: “I’ll increase the pay for you all to $300,000 per year.” She said finally agreed.
Maid A: “Ah, wonderful, My Lady! With this, our resistance to Lady Monia is assured.” She exclaimed with a happy tone.
Risa: “…”
Hanging up the call, Risa rubbed her temples a bit. “Like a protection racket, I had to pay off my maids. All so that they wouldn’t touch my future wife. Future wife… Wife…” Like a madwoman, upon ending up on these two words, repeated them a few times. The more that she saw Monia as hers, the deeper and quicker she fell into being a yandere.
Risa’s desires seemed to flourish, her attention leaving the important meeting for just a small moment. Snapping back to reality, as her secretary tapped her shoulder, Risa focused on the meeting once more.
Adam: “Boss, our quarterly report was off…” He expressed nervously.
Risa: “Off? In what way?” She replied with a raised eyebrow.
Adam: “In profit, we have made 300% more than we were projected to make!” He exclaimed with a bright smile.
Clap!
A round of cheers were had in the conference room. Risa just smiled through it until the meeting was fully over. At first, Risa was certain that, since she had acquired Monia, her performance would greatly drop. But that wasn’t the case at all.
Instead, perhaps it was due to Carter pissing her off, but she had made even more profit than she expected to make. “With this, maybe Mother and Father will give me the rest of the shares?” She thought with a wanting tone. Though she practically controlled every one of the family businesses, Risa didn’t have the full shares.
And in total, Risa had 40% of the shares, her father had 20%, and her mother had 39% of the shares. Sneakily, Carter had 1% of the shares. Of course, this included every business under the Granda family. “I need to visit my parents…” She thought with a sigh. Risa very much just wanted to go see her dear Monia… unfortunately, business was needed to get done. This goes without saying, but her desires for Monia only get stronger by the minute…
