ALL NOVEL Chapter 12: The World was Shocked.
The Granda family was well known, as they had business for pretty much every single industry around. Not only that, but they operated in almost every country as well. Due to this fame and how they were so known, the transfer of Graces shares had to be made public.
This had drastically shocked the world to an extreme. Risa Granda now had a cool 79% share control over the family. Each of their companies was private, so this was a major shift of wealth and control by Grace gifting her shares to her daughter.
Funnily enough, they had found a plot within the company. She didn’t write such a will, but upon her death, her shares would be given to Eric. This completely went against her plan, as she was always going to give her shares to Risa. In the novel, this was how Carter got such a leg up over Risa.
With the shares upon having his ex-wife assassinated, Eric gave them to Carter. He was able to do this plan, as he had some trusted people still at the main branch of the main company for the Granda family. Eric wasn’t a businessman, so he had to rely on his son for success.
Risa: “I will investigate if Eric had had planned on killing you, Mom.” She said with a serious tone.
Grace: “Oh, but it was my life that was threatened… How can I just relax?” She asked with an angry tone.
Risa: “Mother, with me at the helm, this is the point in your life where you should just be focusing on relaxation. I will uncover this plot, and protect you. I swear this.” She said with a warm tone, giving her mother a big hug.
Though reluctant, Grace decided to let her daughter handle her ex-husbands murder plot. Of course, with his plot spoiled early, her death will not happen. Even before doing an investigation, Risa already got rid of anyone from the company that had just a tiny connection to her father. In just seconds, hundreds of people lost their jobs from Risa’s call.
Risa: “Clare, use as much funds as needed, and figure out who was plotting this horrible plan.” She ordered with a serious tone.
Clare: “Since the moment that I heard about this, I was already having it investigated, My Lady. Though the endless funds will help in this.” She replied with a smile.
Risa: “Good. I must know if my father really planned to have my mother killed…” She said, lightly bitting her nail.
Shortly after Carter stole Monia away in the original novel, Grace was killed. This caused Risa to be thrown into a deep dark pit of depression. It was called an accident, and she didn’t have the energy to investigate it as a murder. This double blow to her heart, was what gave Carter the ability to take everything from her away.
Unlike in the story, this Monia was seductive, and hardly shown any dislike toward Risa. That is the reason she had sped up her control. In Risa’s mind, she was already married, and she wanted to secure her position so that none can stop her from being with her beloved.
The world was set blaze by the shares being shifted, Eric’s plot to kill Grace was soon to be revealed, and Carter’s goal was now further and further away. Of course, the imprisoned “princess”, Monia, wasn’t aware of this drastic change to the story. Yes, at the moment, she was celebrating her eighth victory in that same board game…
