My Dream After Having a Do Over Is To Become The Best Player

Chapter 6.2: Astonishing Technique

Just as Shi Feng passed the 25-yard mark,

“Die, challenger.” A goblin at the finish line excitedly laughed, taking out a rapid-fire rifle from his clothes and spraying bullets towards Shi Feng.

Suddenly, each round’s bullets increased to 24, and at a super short distance of 5 yards, making it impossible for players to evade.

“What the hell!? That’s cheating!” Kuang Feng couldn’t help but shout.

Seeing this scene, the hearts of the other players rose to their throats, cursing the shamelessness of the goblins.

Faced with such a dense barrage of bullets, Shi Feng also became serious for the first time. Although he knew that the attack pattern would change again at 25 yards, facing so many bullets head-on still made him nervous.

Shi Feng bent his knees, leaped like a cheetah, and dove into the area with the least dense bullet rain, reducing the area vulnerable to bullets. Then, he tightly gripped his novice sword and swung it wildly, as if four white lights flashed simultaneously.

Bang bang bang bang!

After a burst of sparks, Shi Feng passed through the torrential rain of bullets.

As he landed, he supported himself with one hand and immediately stood up again with force, dashing through the finish line like lightning.

The total time taken was 14 seconds, breaking the preset record of 18 seconds for the Bronze prize.

“Hmm, this frail body really feels somewhat uncomfortable.” Shi Feng, who passed the finish line, sighed softly. If he had a physique of over 100 levels, performing the four consecutive sword strikes would be much easier, and he wouldn’t be as exhausted as he is now.

“Ladies and gentlemen, let’s cheer for this [Swordsman]’s successful challenge.” The goblin administrator announced loudly.

System: The player is the first to pass the Bronze prize challenge and breaks the record, rewarding the player with 1 Silver Coin and the [Swordsman] Skill [Tempestuous Thunderstrike].”

‘No way, I actually got the [Tempestuous Thunderstrike]? This is a skill that even a level 100+ Swordsman can’t obtain.’

Shi Feng thought he was hearing things, but seeing the skill book for [Tempestuous Thunderstrike] in his backpack, he was truly shocked.

— Tempestuous Thunderstrike [Action Type]: Requires Sword. It swiftly delivers three sword light attacks within a distance of 10*2 yards, each dealing 130% damage. It also comes with a damage amplification effect, increasing the damage of the next attack by 20%. Cooldown time is 30 seconds.

Since he obtained the skill, without hesitation, Shi Feng clicked to learn it.

As a [Swordsman], this Class mainly relies on single-target damage skills, lacking powerful AoE damage skills. [Tempestuous Thunderstrike] can be said to be one of the few extremely powerful AoE skills for [Swordsman]. Being able to learn it in the early stages of the game definitely puts Shi Feng far ahead of all other [Swordsman].

After learning [Tempestuous Thunderstrike], Shi Feng finally felt like he had some semblance of a [Swordsman].

“You guys keep playing, I’m leaving. Don’t forget my 50 copper.” Shi Feng looked at the dumbfounded Kuang Feng, bid farewell, and left the black market.

Kuang Feng nodded indifferently.

“Boss Kuang, he’s gone, and he took the reward with him. Shouldn’t we go after him?” The male priest asked.

It wasn’t until Shi Feng left that Kuang Feng recovered from his shock and glared at the male priest, cursing, “Are you an idiot? Don’t you see what that man has just done? we should be ingratiating ourselves with him, not making enemies.”

“Still, I need to report this to the Guild Leader. Thankfully, I added him as a friend. His name is Shi Feng, right? I’ve never heard of his name before. Could he be someone famous who disguised themself as a noob?” Kuang Feng admitted that he couldn’t achieve what Shi Feng did so beautifully, especially the round of attacks after 25 yards, which was simply godlike. How could players resist or evade it? But Shi Feng managed to do it.

In the trading area, Shi Feng found the master alchemist Kevin and spent 120 copper to buy 20 exploding fruits, causing his wealth to shrink significantly, leaving him with only 30 copper.

However, for the sake of rapid leveling up, spending the money was worth it.

With the exploding fruits in hand, Shi Feng left [Red Leaf Town] and ran westward.

Currently, most of the players inside the game were still at level 0, that’s mean they are most likely are busy killing level 0 monsters outside of [Red Leaf Town] to gain experience point to level up. However, some players with decent combat and social skills also teamed up with each other to kill level 1 monster, such as [Wolf Pup]. Many of the party who fight against the pup are composed of Warriors took the role of tank, ranged players who dealt high amount of damage from afar, and healers who are provided support and making sure their tank are still alive and kicking.

Despite the experience points that would be split fairly amongst the party members, those who are partying up would level up much faster than those who chose to fight all by themself, because the efficiency of killing the monster are much higher when they are facing it together.

A monster that would take a few minutes to kill when faced alone would just take half a minute when you face it as a party.

Shi Feng had no intention of competing with others for these Low Level monsters. So he ran straight through the level 1 monster area, even passing through the level 3 monster area, and arrived at the [Redleaf Forest], a level 5 monster area where no other players dared to come.

At this stage in the [God’s Domain], no player dared to challenge level 5 monsters. With the level suppression, robust health, and vast difference in attack power, level 5 monsters could easily crush level 1 players. Even a six-person team couldn’t defeat a level 5 monster.

If players died, the death penalty was severe. Not only would they lose a level worth of experience, but they would also lose skill proficiency. No player dared to take risks easily, as hours of hard-earned experience and proficiency would be wasted.
