After waiting two more minutes, Ye Qilan’s voice, cold as iron, came through the phone: “Withdraw.”

Age was stunned at first, thinking he was hallucinating. He asked again, “What did you just say, sir?”

“Everyone! Withdraw!”

Then, the phone hung up.

Logically, after they teamed up to regain the upper hand, she should’ve been toasting with him in celebration.

Even getting too excited wouldn’t warrant celebrating in the rain, would it?
