ALL NOVEL Minichapter (6.5): Return
After everything settled down, Vieno explained to Bai that the Yin-Yang slime had become a humanoid monster, but he wasn’t aware that it gained a soul. It happened to be a gift that he gave to Lux back in the day. Bai had wondered why he gave a woman a slime as a gift, but all it took was a knowing look for him to understand.
The Yin-Yang slime on the other hand pouted the entire time when Vieno said he had to leave soon, but he told her that she could visit him with Lux’s permission. She gifted him with a monster core she created. With that Vieno was able to put together a gift basket. He even added something special.
Bai left early. Vieno assumed that it was because she wanted to force him to return to the Wanderlust Inn later after he finished his job request. Luckily, the task didn’t take long because Yin-Yang slime helped.
Like this, Vieno took heavy steps to his room, and right as he was about to enter Reiko came out to greet him.
“Welcome back.” She tilted her emotionless head in a quizzical manner. “Are you alright?”
“Here.” Vieno pulled out a basket from his pocket dimension. “I’ll explain the objects later…”
He struggled to keep his eyes open.
She took the basket. “You didn’t have to go so far.”
“I’m sorry.” Vieno rubbed his forehead. “You have misunderstood. I’m tired like this from some of the most intense sex I’ve had in some time.”
“Oh, good for you, Vieno.” She gave a slight bow and was about to leave.
Vieno was too tired to analyze Reiko at the moment and just pointed to the basket. “If you're curious, I already provided you with the recording for it.” Perhaps, this wasn’t the best choice. The things he did with Lux…well…
“...” Reiko didn’t say anything and entered the room adjacent to Vieno’s own.
I guess that is her main room now. Vieno crawled into bed with that thought, but was woken several minutes later by a loud knocking at his door. He moved his aura to sense what the commotion was and found a beat red Reiko pacing in front of his room. The previous emotionless appearance was gone and in its place was a flustered woman that was blushed scarlet all over.
Vieno had an epiphany as he recalled his moment with Lux. Still, Vieno was too tired to handle the situation and just went to sleep. That said, the matter was never brought up again. What Reiko did with that recording would become a mystery.
