ALL NOVEL 44 – Revealing the truth
The pain I felt in my chest all this time. I finally realized what that was. I pity the princess. She’s just like me. Someone that wants to live a free life. Someone that doesn’t want to be bound by rules or fate. Someone that says “screw responsibility”. She’s not given a choice.
Nobody is asking if this is something she wants. She’s not being treated like a human being. It’s like in my world. Politicians will make certain decisions for the good of mankind, but many individuals suffer because of those decisions. They’re only covering their own asses. It makes me angry.

“Oi, Lecia. Your request. I will accept it, but I’m altering the terms. Be sure to properly thank me later.”
Galan drew a long sword from the waist of a guard.
"Have you gone mad, woman!? Just who do you think you are? The Gods will punish you for this act."
“Hmph. If there’s a God out there that thinks he can take me on, then by all means, I welcome the challenge. But until then, I won’t allow this marriage. Princess, you don’t really want this, do you.”
“Eto… I, u… no.”
“That settles it then. I’m not letting it happen.”
"Saying such nonsensical things."
"Oh right, a king is needed in the Duskwood Kingdom, isn’t he? Fuuーhahahaha!! Because otherwise it will surely revive, the Demon King that is sealed in this land."

Among the attendees, the ones who didn’t run away, were somewhat composed. They listened attentively wondering what I meant. I spoke with a loud voice.
"Listen well, you riffraff! The Demon King of Mind Ygalima was sealed in this land by God! The king of this country, is the key that seals the Demon King. And then, if the absence of the king is prolonged, the seal will be broken before long!"
"You damned bitch……How could you divulge that!?”
“Well, there is another way to deal with it. Having a king isn’t the only option.”
"How idiotic. If that Demon King is awakened, all the races will be destroyed, you know!?"
"Hmph! Are you an idiot? That might have been the case before, but now I am here. Let it revive. And I will completely pulverize it.”
"……P, pulverize!? Are you saying that you will defeat it, that Demon King……!?"
Even the attendees became uproarious.
“Why look so shocked? After all, reviving it was your plan all along.”

“Reveal yourself. [Blizzard Dispel]!”
A pure white snow tornado was generated from my hands and engulfed Galan. This wasn’t a damaging spell. It can’t hurt the target. Instead this spell shall freeze any other spell of buff the target has activated. In other words, even if someone is using a concealment spell, it would be dispelled. And my hunch was right.
What came in everyone’s line of sight after my tornado finished it’s job was a giant and ugly war troll. Kek. It seems not even a disguise could change his ugly face.
I turned my attention towards the Queen.
“Oi, look at this, Your Majesty. You were just about to marry your daughter with a troll and put the crown in someone other than an elves’ hands.”
“Such a thing… how can it be? Galan… have you been cursed? You were so close to my late husband…”
“Ugh. I guess the cat’s out of the bag. Yes. I was indeed close. For 10 years I hid myself. And that’s why I also managed to poison him. Nobody suspected a thing. It was all going as planned… until this darn crossbreed showed up!”
*Howl*
A powerful howl made some of the elves standing guard to point their bows at me.
“Huh? What are you doing? Can’t you see who is the monster?” (Harmonia)
“Don’t waste your breath, princess. Either those guys are brainwashed or also monsters.”
The elves were ready to fire their arrows.
"To think you would oppose me, you damned fools who do not know your place! I shall annihilate you! [Hoarfrost Shredder]!”
It was a large area of effect attribute Magic. The Elves were cooled down all at once, and raised screams. They had already turned into a state of being annihilated.
"Gyaaaah!!"
"My finger!? My fingers are!"
"Frozen……We’re going to be frozen……!?"
Troll guy was the only one that still managed to put on a straight face.
"Guoooooh!! Everybody, fall back! Spread out!"
"Like I said, this joke has gone far enough. Now let's end this…"
The ground shook.

The forest became noisy. Birds flew away, and the voices of beasts were raised. Fireballs came falling from the sky. Not just in the plaza, fireballs fell even outside of it where the Elves were. Explosions occurred.
"What in the world!?"
"Ah!? Please don't damage the forest anymore!!" (Queen)
"You fool! That's fire. This is not my magic!"
"Shishou, I sense high density magical power! From the north-northwest direction──" (Stella)
Without having to be told that, even I could feel it. Magical power poured down on the area as if we were standing in the middle of a storm. Looking in that direction… I really have a bad feeling about this.
"The sacred grounds." (Lecia)
Maybe having noticed the same thing, Lecia flusteredly made a commotion.
"It can’t be!? This is too early!" (Lecia)
"Tsk……So the seal was weakened much more than expected. Or maybe, its magical power was strong enough to wrench it open."
"No, even in the past records, there is no way the seal should have broken this fast!" (Lecia)
Beyond the trees, a black object could be seen. Going *Dokun, dokun*, it pulsated.
"Hahahaha. It seems Gerome-sama had to accelerate our plans because of you. This wasn't supposed to happen like this. We were supposed to do this slowly, but in the end you forced our hand bitch." (Galan)
"Demon King Ygalima." (Edel)
"Correct!" (Galan)
How the hell did this happen? Although I planned on breaking that thing myself I wanted to do it while it was asleep. Ugh. Seems like this will be a really rough fight. My fur is tingling. On the other hand… I can finally test my limits against a powerful opponent. Alright, bastards. Bring it!
