My Reverse Life

So that day finally arrive. I've been wondering when it will arrive. I even prepare every good product that recommends on the internet just in case. I expect it to arrive any time soon. But when it finally arrives, it caught me off guard. What am I talking about?. Must I say it out loud?. You probably already know what am I talking about. But to think it will physically weaken me. I guess I am physically a normal girl right now?.

"This is quite light considering this is your first period. Have you prepared some padding just in case?" Said the teacher, Elly-Sensei.

Ah... she just said it out loud. Hearing it out loud is embarrassing.

"Yes, I already prepared. But it is in my bag."

"Well, just used this first. This is freely provided by the infirmary just in case. You know how to put it right?."

"Yes... I know."

After all, because of the toilet incident that traumatizes me. I vow to become a good girl and handle my monthly waste wisely.

"Is that so, then I will leave you for now. Don't worry about class, you can skip it just fine. After all, you have it right now."

The teacher then left leaving me alone in the infirmary. Well, I am not actually alone here. Syena is in here with me. Still, unconscious thought.

Wait... did I just put it here? not in the toilet?. Eh... why did the teacher bring me to the infirmary?. I was just about to complain but then I see a small restroom door in the corner of my eye. I did not expect the infirmary has its toilet restroom exclusively. 

So I use the restroom and put it on the pad. Once I am done putting it, I suddenly feel comfortable down there. Is this normal?. Also, something kinda tingling too. 'Sigh' why did Elly-sensei leave me alone after I said I knew how to put it?. Well, even if I am done putting it, the stomachache and slight headache still didn't go away. Now, I know why women are temperamental when their periods occur. Certainly, if you feel like this the entire time you can be easily infuriated. 

As I exit the restroom, I saw Syena who is laying on the bed waking up.

"Syena! You finally wake up!!"

"Ugh, where am I?"

"You are in the infirmary."

"Infirmary?... Did I pass out?... And who are you might be?."

"Eh... You don't remember me?...come to think of it...you can speak right now. Weird, previously you only communicate with pen and paper. Hmmm... Perhaps you are having amnesia?." I said to her.

That's also would explain why she suddenly can speak. I assume she becomes mute because of her past trauma. Come to think of it, isn't having amnesia, in this case, is a good thing?.

"Amnesia?...certainly I don't remember anything besides my name. I guess you are right."

"Then, I'll need to introduce myself again. My name is Miyazaki Aria,  just call me Aria."

"I see... Aria. Did you perhaps wait for me to wake up the entire time?."

"It sure looks like it, but I am just here because uh... I don't feel well?."

"Is that so, are you okay?"

What a sweet girl she is worrying for me despite didn't remember who am I.

"Thank you for your concern, I am alright now. But more than that, you should worry about yourself. You didn't feel any discomfort currently?. Back then you suddenly pass out, I am freaking out because of it. Hehe."

"I don't think there any discomfort I feel. In fact, is the opposite, I feel... Liberated?. That might sound weird." She said.

I see, certainly, she is liberated in a way. Her not remembering her gruesome past can be considered liberated.

"No... I understand well what you mean." I said.

Suddenly, someone enters the infirmary. Is a boy, carrying a girl with red hair. The boy turns out to be Arthur. One of those naughty boys.

"Arthur?... And isn't that girl...Ariana-senpai?. What happened to her?." I ask Arthur.

"Boss?... Good to see you here. I found her passing out under the stair. I assume she is falling from it?." Said, Arthur.

"I see, hey Syena. Do you have any impression from this girl?." I ask Syena.

"You know I don't remember anything right?... But, I feel like she is somewhat familiar to me. Did I know her?." Said Syena.

"Yes, you know her. Seems like you can feel despite not remembering it. Well, she is your childhood friend after all."

"My childhood friend?... I see. hope she's okay, you said her name is Ariana right?. Can you tell me more about her?."

"Um... Sure, why not."

But before  I am able to say anything. We heard a sudden scream from the outside. There is a sudden earthquake and the sound of an explosion that follows.

" Look outside the window!!" Arthur who was already done laying Ariana at the bed shouted.

So, I and Syena look outside the window simultaneously. What we saw is chaos unfolding. Something emerges out of thin air. It looks like a crack that has torn reality apart. From that crack, a monster crawled through it, attacking everything that it saw.

What on earth is going on?!.
