In the middle of the city's busiest commercial area, a panic broke out. Some people dispersed, and some people grab their phones and record a video. A blonde short-haired loli with a gun fighting a long silver-haired beauty with witch-like attire. The blonde loli, Nikita Caroline Verlander is an esper with time manipulation power. Her opponent is a mysterious woman with mysterious power. Her opponent seems to have the same power as she is. So the only way she will be able to fight is by using firearms and martial art.
"I don't really want to fight you. I just want to ask you to not intervene." Said the silver-haired woman.
"Not intervene when I see you kidnaping my friend's sister?... That's not going to happen!." Said Carol.
She then fires her gun toward the silver-haired woman without hesitation. The silver-haired woman just casually swings her right hand up. A transparent blue panel appears and blocks the bullet.
"Tsk..." Seeing that, Carol click her tongue and began to activate her power.
The time stop. The silver-haired woman also stops moving. Carol is surprised to see that the silver-haired woman is get affected by the time stop. Originally, she only intend to see if the silver-haired woman also get headaches the same way as she did. Her intention is to get the silver-haired woman distracted not stop her entirely. Well, this is working out in her favor. She slowly walks closer to the woman. But at a certain radius from the woman, the time suddenly continues again. The woman then stretches her hand toward Carol. Her hand spits out fire like a flame thrower. Carol quickly jumps to the side and dodges the fire. She rolls her body to break her fall and then quickly gets back up and fires a few rounds of bullets while running encircling the woman.
The woman just stood still and create a barrier around her by swinging her hand to the side. She then took a sigh and look at Carol with an apathetic look.
"Is useless... you should stop." Said the woman.
"Not yet... there is still more!!." Said Carol.
She then stops time again. She began to shoot many bullets in any direction toward the woman. When the bullet fires out, it is suspended in the air until the time continues again. Hundred to a thousand rounds of bullet fire from multiple directions. Then afterward, she grabs the knife hidden under her skirt and run as fast as she could toward the woman. The time then continue and all the bullets were launched at the same time from where they were suspended in the air. All those bullets manage to break the woman barrier but still can't give the woman a scratch. All of that is within carol's expectations. Her real attack is with her knife. She swung her knife toward the woman with all her might. The woman just stood still unfazed about what was coming. When the knife was about to hit her in the face. The woman caught the knife with her left hand. The knife penetrates through her hand. Blood dripping out from it. She then stares at Carol's eyes and says.
"Now... do you want to talk it out?."
