Chapter 42: CHAPTER FORTY-TWO:SHE IS YOUR SISTER AND SHE IS MY DAUGHTER
HIJIRAR'S TEMPLE.....
Arizona paced round the temple in a mood that clearly shows that she was stressed. She walked round the five pillars , over and over again without stopping. It seems she was highly worried.
Though, her worries didn't reach it's climax, for her to make any stupid decision.
She continued pacing round the temple, silently praying for the safety of whoever she was worried about.
By the corner, was old lady Papirus who was taking a nap while sitting on a comfortable chair. The chair which she sat on was skillfully designed to someone's taste and plus,it was quite comfortable.
Old lady Papirus sat on the chair, taking a nap and not actually aware of the worried Arizona. She didn't even know what worried Arizona, not to talk of knowing if Arizona was actually worried.
Old lady Papirus looked a lot younger as she slept on the comfortable chair. One could hardly even see a wrinkle on her face.
"She isn't yet back. What could have happened to her?" Arizona asked herself while still pacing round with a worried expression on her face. "I thought she said she would be stepping out for a while, how come I can't find her".
"And to think I can't even locate her with my powers. She must have blocked all my communication with her".
"Is it possible that she's angry? But if she's angry, then why is she angry?"
Arizona couldn't bring herself not to worry, but she was somewhat having this puzzling feeling which she was trying to avoid.
"I've got to look for Melissa. I wonder where she had gone to and why she had cut off every of my communication with her" Arizona contemplated loudly, still pacing round the temple.
"I've got to try to communicate with her. Maybe she might be angry about something, maybe that's why she cut off every of my communication"
It wasn't up to a minute when a slender figure walked into the temple through the entrance. She was possibly cat-walking and displaying all her sexy curves. An excited smile lay on her beautiful face.
Melissa walked into the temple premises with a happy smile laced on her face. She walked straight, over to Arizona who gave a relieved smile.
Arizona smiled briefly, but her smile immediately turned into a frown. She frowned earnestly, waiting for Melissa to walk up to her.
Melissa didn't seem to notice the frown on her mother's face. Even if she noticed the frown, she didn't seem to care especially since she was in a happy mood.
"Hi,mum" Melissa greeted with a childish smile which irritated Arizona.
Arizona groaned loudly but not that aggressively.
"Where have you been?" Arizona asked, going straight to the point.
Melissa chuckled while shrugging her shoulders.
"Just went out for a while and having fun. That's all, besides I did tell you that I would be stepping out for fresh air" Melissa replied, quite ignoring the closing temper of Arizona.
"Last time I checked, I asked you where you were coming from".
"Mum, I just went out for some fresh air. There's no big deal about that". Melissa frowned a little.
"Why didn't you respond to the messages I sent you?" Arizona asked with a fierce gaze.
"I did see your messages but I decided not to respond" Melissa answered with an obvious smirk.
"And why didn't you respond to my messages? Didn't you for once think that I would get worried?"
"Mum! You are asking too much questions. I'm not a child that you have to worry about. I just went out for some fun and that's it" Melissa's voice clearly showed she was angry.
Arizona looked at Melissa with a frown clearly unhappy but she suddenly changed her facial expression into that of a smile.
"You still haven't told me where you are coming from?" Arizona asked.
Melissa didn't answer but only sighed heavily.
She snapped her finger and a chair appeared. She lazily sat on the chair resting her back on it.
Arizona only watched with a mischievous smile on her face. She also sighed but with a smile on her face.
"You seem to forget that I am Arizona, the wife of Hijirar and the first priestess of Umuguor community" Arizona said in a tone that clearly shows she was boasting.
Melissa looked up at her and smirked.
"Is that you boasting or what?" Melissa shook her head playfully.
"Anyways, I have something to tell you" Arizona said, ignoring Melissa's question.
Arizona snapped her finger and a chair appeared to which she sat on, facing Melissa. She smiled once she had sat down. Melissa could describe her smile as an odd smile.
"What is it?"
"You are not gonna believe it if I tell you but I'm going to make sure I go straight to the point" Arizona crossed her legs making her to look cool.
"Go on" Melissa assured expecting whatever that was to be expected.
Just before Arizona could say something,a loud yawn was heard from a corner of the temple.
Both Arizona and Melissa shot their gazes at the direction. Their gazes fell on old lady Papirus who was clearly awake and staring back at them.
"Hi old lady Papirus" Melissa greeted with a genuine chuckle.
Old lady Papirus smiled a sleepy smile before giving a nod.
"You are back. That's good. You took quite a while outside, where were you anyways?" Old lady Papirus replied with a smile.
"Just took some time to have fun in the forest" Melissa said.
Old lady Papirus nodded again.
"Can I join you both?" Old lady Papirus asked with a mischievous smirk.
"Sure" Arizona answered this time around. "It would make things easier for me to tell her".
Arizona winked at old lady Papirus and she immediately knew what Arizona wanted to tell Melissa.
Old lady Papirus stood up and walked up to the two ladies. She took along with her,her chair and placed it closer to Arizona and sat down.
Arizona flashed the old lady a smile which the old lady returned.

Melissa pov....
She told me the truth. The truth that had been hidden for so long. Somehow, I feel it's crazy. Infact,it is crazy.
My lost sister was actually Naagin.
Should I actually call her a lost sister. One fact was clear, she wasn't lost. She was only difficult to sense out. So, all this while,my younger sister was Naagin and not just that, she was the fuck**g chosen one.
When I was little,my mom would usually tell me that I had a younger sister. As expected, I was always happy whenever she told me about my younger sister. She would usually tell me how beautiful she was and how she looks exactly like my father.
I had always anticipated to see my sister one day or another. To think that my mom would always tell me that one day,she would come home. And I had always trusted my mother, hoping that one day, my younger sister would come home.
Sometimes, I would ask her why my younger sister left or why she was not here with our little family. I would ask her where she was and when she was coming back. I would even ask her if I would ever see my younger sister.
My mother never really answered any of my questions. She only told me one thing which I could clearly remember.
She would always tell me that I would one day see and meet my younger sister.
Funny enough, ever since the birth of my sister, I had never set my eyes on her.
According to what I had seen and heard, my sister was taken by two snakes to the human world for some unknown reason. I was very little at that time and I couldn't make out any of the rumors that I was hearing. Hearing rumors that my sister was taken down to the human world by two snake spirits.
I had always anticipated the return of my sister and even till today, I had always felt lonely without a sibling.
At first, when both old lady Papirus and my mom told me the truth, I was quite surprised and I couldn't find myself to believe it. But they both took their time in clarifying me in the whole issue. And how everything single thing was planned by my father. I was a lot taken aback at how cunning my father is. He is such a cunning, sweet and great god.
Not to lie, I don't really like Naagin. She wasn't really my type to associate with and I also noticed she carries most features of my dad. She's the type who's fierce and strong, just like Hijirar. She's the type who never backs down from a challenge and she could even be a merciless killer.
Maybe I should try to get along with her, now that I know that she is my younger sister. And I should also try to look out for her and protect when she needs my help especially in her mission to pass judgement on Huck.

After Arizona and old lady Papirus had told me everything and maybe after my trail of thoughts, I looked up at my mother and passed her a smile.
She smiled back at me and it warmed my heart. I love it when my mother smile.
"Melissa" my mother called out softly. "I hope you learn to love Naagin as your sister even if it's gonna be hard for you".
I nodded at my mother's words.
"I will mom" I promised with a faithful smile. "And I hope you love her as your daughter".
And from this day, I promised myself to always love Naagin as my sister now that I know that she really is my sister.
